We have been researching daycares for the last couple weeks trying to find a safe place for our twins. When we walked in the front door we were greeted by friendly staff. <br/><br/>My wife works at a hospital and she knows what kind of things to look for as far as cleaning goes. She always inspected corners to every daycare and i guess it grossed her out.<br/><br/>What i noticed is that it was very chaotic kids were running around throwing various toys ( dont get me wrong i know kids are kids and they do what they do) but aline should be drawn when toys that are thrown can hurt the other kids especially when the staff observed the behavior and continued to sit and drink her beverage. <br/><br/>My other observation is that the doors that lead to the front of the building can locks on both sides but clearly do not work. From the inside going into front lobby first door was a passcode lock that looked to be rigged so it would not work i observed many people voing in and out of the door without pressing some sort of key sequence. They simply just pushed the door lever down and the door would open. Then a 6 ft walk to the front door which has only a standard single throw thumb lock was unlocked. Then its a 30 ft to a extremly busy road.( it would take my two year olds about 30 seconds to be near that road I dont know what they are trying to sell here but its certainly not saftey, security and peice of mind knowing my kids are in a safe environment.

I have 2 kids enrolled at La Petite. They have been there for 2 years, and they LOVE it. I was one of those parents that never wanted her kids in a daycare. But when things changed and I NEEDED to have them in a daycare I did alot of research. went to ALOT of different daycares, and was not happy with any of them untill I walked into La Petite. The director was friendly and the staff was as well. The academy is clean and I loved the fact that no one can go into the academy unless they have to code to the door. My son was 4 when he started so he was in the pre K class. His teacher was so good that when it came time for kindergarden screening he did so well the lady doing the test was amaized. I told them "La Petite!" I love it there and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a daycare.

The teachers at La Petite Academy are so in touch with my childrens needs on a daily basis. My daughter who doesnt normally adapt well to change has opened up socially and emotionally and I have seen such growth in her over the past year. Her teachers have kept a great line of communication open with me to discuss any problems or concerns and I always feel comfortable hearing feedback whether it be good or bad about her day. At 2 years old she was writing the letters in her name!! I have never been so amazed and proud at the same time by the things she is learning everyday!! I am happy my kids have been in such great care since they were just tiny babies, theyve developed strong relationships and friendships with the staff at La Petite and we couldnt be happier!

My son has been attending La Petite for almost two years and we love it. The classes are clean. The turn over rate for employees is low. My son developed a seizure disorder while attending La Petite Academy and the director and staff have really been mindful of our situation. Every staff member has been briefed about our sons situation. He really enjoys his time there. Their hours are good and they always have different activities (soccer, dance recitals, etc.) for all ages. I have had a few things that I was uncertain of but every time there was an issue or a start of one the director would address it right away. I am very happy with their overall performance.

My son has been attending La Petite Academy for about 5 months. He is a 7 month old baby, who has special needs. The staff from the minute i walked in the door have been very understanding and helpful. Without them i dont know what i would have done. They treat my son as if nothing is wrong with him. The staff is extremely helpful and so nice. Also very easy to talk too. They listen to your needs and help out in any way possible. The academy is clean. And secure. They open and close at reasonable times. I am very happy with La Petite.

I recently visited La Petite Academy in Federal Way off of 348th St. I was greet by a friendly and helpful Director. Leaving my children in childcare, has been a difficult decision to make, but the atmosphere at this center left me feeling safe and happy that I have found La Petite Academy. The children that attended were busy with projects, and all looked happy and secure. Since I have taken the tour, the Director has followed up with me to ease any of my concerns! I feel great about my decision to choose La Petite Academy.

Quality Program I have recently visited this school and it looks amazing. They are currently preparing for accreditation and they will do well. I have helped many schools get accredited and this one will have no problem. They run a quality program, are clean and care a great deal about their families. I visited and do not see where the person below got their information. Go see for yourself the place looks amazing.

Manager said she would send me a email after I did a walk through for my kids?!!!! She never called or emailed and its been 3 weeks thanks for never getting back to me! After spending almost an hour talking seeing and asking questions!!!
