Lam did not replace sway bar and links as promise for the price just the sway bar on the caddy. Also he pour in 100 percent anti freeze and did not mix the coolant as agreed and we supplied the distilled water and coolant. Labor is much more than other shops. Have to watch him carefully because he will quote more hours for easy jobs like $1300 for timing belt change. Lam also will not give you pricing until you go get the parts first which is a scam since he knows the pricing in his head already. He wants to hook you into buying parts first to commit to him doing the job. Rude customer service also. When I came in for a receipt, he made me wait while he help the other two people who came in afterwards. He stopped helping and made sure the other two people were taken care of first even though they came in 10 minutes after.. Once again he will say yes to anything but work is not done per discussion. We were one of the first customers but will take business elsewhere for better work and honesty. Last job was on Nissan Truck andhe charged high labor. When told of the high labor for the job at hand he threaten us with other shops being more expensive or that other shops will put in cheap parts (both of which are not true). I regret taking my Truck there but too late. I learned the hard way. Lam is terrible with names thus disrespecting customers. I will file with Better Business Bureau.

Brought my vehicle in shortly before Lam closed down his shop for the night; my car had been overheating. Despite the late arrival, Lam was very welcoming and willing to investigate. He refilled the coolant, reattached and reinforced a couple clamps in the engine, and also replaced my old windshield wipers as one was beginning to tear. Simple fixes were all that I needed, apparently. Lam was conversational and friendly; his rate was not overly expensive. I would certainly bring my car to Lam Auto Repairs for future service.

Lam was referred to me by a coworker about a year ago. Great place to go for car work. I drive a beater and Lam was honest, I asked him to replace my axles, he did one said the other was OK, saved me $$. He also adjusted my r&p for no charge. Went back for breaks, he did the whole job in 2hrs, even let me bring my own parts, saved more $. His wife does the office work. If your looking for a mechanic or your in a jam give this guy a shot. Hes a solid mechanic.

I have used Lam numerous times and referred many people there. Honest, forthwright, reasonable, friendly are all words that describe this shop. He can be trusted! Doesnt do what is not necessary for the repair you need. Shows you the used parts and explains what is wrong with them. Shows and explains what may need attention in the future. Isnt pushy. Dont be concerned by the size of the shop, it is the size of the ethicial culture inside that matters

This guy impressed me with my first experience bringing my car in. My car was over heating and I told him a mechanic told me is a alternator problem. After he take look at the problem. He assure me is the water pump. He even said he will fix my car for free if he was wrong. At the end he was right. Very friendly, honest trust worthy. Price is good. You got a loyal customer n friend for life. Keep up the good work.

Lam helped me out today, was willing to do the work on my vehicle immediately, and was very helpful in trying to explain another issue I was having with it. After having a bad experience at another shop he helped redeem some faith in mechanics.

I just took my car to this shop because it was close to work and I was very impressed with Lam. He is very friendly and honest, not to mention the fact that he knows a lot about repairing cars. I definitely recommend this place.

Lam goes out of his way to save the customer money.I had a bent gear shift linkage. It was badly bent but he got it straightened and put back. Shift works perfectly. He is very polite and hard working. I would give him 5 stars

I would recommended to all of you to check this place. I took my LX 470 there and got a brake job done. I am very happy with his work compare to other that charge you an arm and a leg.

Too honest. He is not going make money off fixing cars because he uses more expensive parts than others. It last long until you need to buy a new car. I like him.
