Theyre storage units. There are restrictions. Gate access 7AM-9:45PM (locks at 10) with individual entry codes. Restrictions (likely due to insurance) include: - no flammables / perishables / plants / etc. including small propane tanks. - no using unit as a workshop. Pro: - unit is clean & new-looking, full-width roll-up door works fine, slightly raised floor should keep rainwater out. - 16 truck you can sign up to use during the first month for a nominal fee, $200 cash deposit, put gas in it after. - "not on the flood plain." Cons: - rent a bit higher (maybe why they had an open unit). - heavy emphasis on restrictions. To be fair, a tenant had just run over a steel post with the rental truck (on video) & denied responsibility. - unit lights are on 30-minute timers: too short. - a 10x20 unit has only a 40W bulb, insufficient. - the truck is HARD to fill (filler tube dips them runs horizontally). Took 9 gallons after I thought it was full! Suggest a 6..8" ramp under rear tires to slope it. Suggestions: - check oil when renting truck - was low! - truck has to be cleaned: have broom, dustpan, garbage bag, etc. & allow time.
