I was in the throes of crisis..abruptly splitting from my partner, with a toddler in tow. Georgia made me feel welcome, safe, and in the right place. Set me up with a small drive-up unit close enough to the front to not feel isolated, yet tucked back in for privacy. I never felt like my property was at risk of being damaged or stolen during the two months I was there. Being temporarily homeless/moving is stressful enough without having to worry about YOUR STUFF, too! When an apartment finally came through, it was easy-peasy to clear out and move on. Too bad they dont pro-rate after the 10th of each month.. :-( Another plus, the location: on a main road but not in the center of things. And the 580 is right there so when its time to move, youre gone. Unfortunately, there was no $1 promo rate for the first month due to their nearly full capacity at the time. Who wouldnt thunk? Thanks again Georgia for normalizing my PS experience and running a smooth operation. Youre so totally on top of your game and it shows.

I have been renting with Public Storage in Castro Valley for many years, and I have found Georgias service to be far superior to any other managers that I have encountered over the years. She responds to problems immediately, is extremely courteous (even with difficult clients), and is always available if help is needed. She makes an extra effort to keep the property clean and tidy, and has wrestled with the computer system, making sure there are no errors in bills and statements. I have seen her go "beyond the call of duty" in many cases, taking care of large, unwieldy items abandoned by difficult or discourteous clients, and also taking extra effort to return lost items to other clients. I have found renting with Public Storage a pleasure since Georgia has become property manager, and her presence has been the main reason I have kept my belongings at this location.

Geogia was professional, delightful to speak to, and very helpful. She took the time to show me the spaces available and when the opportunity presented itself I was able to move my trailer to a more accessible location without much difficulty. Our trailer is now in a space easily parked whereas the previous space was difficult to get into. The online discount allowed us to get in ...as my wife and I are both retired and have limited income. The location is great...located near an on/off ramp to I-580. Overall a great location and excellent help.

I have been at public storage for the past several years and the service has been outstanding. Georgia has been very helpful and professional. She has gone out of her way to provide customer service above my expectations. For example, she notified me when my car cover had flown off my stored car (due to the wind) and even placed the cover in safe keeping until I could come and re-cover it. She works hard to keep the grounds secure and clean. I highly recommend storing at the Redwood Castro Valley Public Storage and say hi to Georgia from me.

I would highly recommend the Public Storage Redwood Road location. I recently had to evacuate my home due to a fire. The belongings I could salvage, I stored at PS. The staff was absolutely wonderful in understanding my plight, and helping me get the best deal. The location was very secure, I never felt uncomfortable, when I needed to retrieve something from my unit. You cant go wrong by choosing this your location for your storage needs.

Georgia is very helpful, nice and kind. She is a people person and makes renting at this location very worthwhile. I would not rent at this location if she wasnt at this site. Please keep up the excellent work Georgia! She keeps the property very neat and clean. I always enjoy coming to my storage when Georgia is working. Ive never had anyone this pleasant when I rented from other locations. We wish more people could be like Georgia!

Georgia is very helpful, courteous and has excellent customer service skills. She is very dedicated in her role which she takes very seriously and adheres to all policies. She goes the extra mile to make sure her customers are satisfied and is always willing to help. She deserves a promotion, salary increase or bonus because of her outstanding work. It was my first time using a public storage unit and I am very glad to have gone to this location. I wanted to make sure I understood the details before I signed anything. I was helped by Amandip who took the time to explain the process of obtaining a unit to my father and me thoroughly. I would recommend him and this location to others looking into a storage unit for their belongings. Yay for less clutter at home!

They raised their rates 20% this year at this location. It is hard to find a cart to move items from the car to the storage unit. If they enter your name wrong at the front desk (which has happened twice), you will not get your emails or bills and they wont correct their mistake over the phone, you have to come in to fix it in person (what a hassle). If it was not such a chore to move, we would be out!
