JKA drilled a new well for our community system in east King County. We had a 35 year old water source serving 8 homes that over the years slowed to a point of not being able to keep up any longer. With a community system it was complicated, but JKA was great in pointing us in the right direction to get necessary permits and engineering in place. They were clear on requirements, paperwork and lead us through the project. Their online estimation, approval and payment process is easy enough to work with too. Knowing we were running out of water they prioritized our project. Once we had State and County permission to drill, they were there within days. The team worked through a challenging drill operation (deep drill, lots of rock and tight drilling quarters) and got it done for us quickly. We are happy to finally be over our water shortages...our new system seems reliable and efficient. JKA was also responsive in fixing a few other mechanical and plumbing issues before this big job - it was not the first time we called them and we would definitely call them again should the need arise. Their team members are courteous, informative and seem well experienced at what they do. For other well repairs...previously I had called upon a few other companies in the area (which will not be named in this review) that I will never call again. I would say JKA is definitely on the list for someone to call when theres a problem or when you want the job done right, they stand behind their work too.

My 17 foot well is 70 years old and the 6 inch screen was breaking down, letting sand into the water. Another company put in a 4 inch screen, but the pump was sucking air at 5 gallons per minute so they put in a smaller flow restrictor for 3 gallons per minute. Previously, we were getting 12 gallons per minute, so at 3 gallons per minute when we ran anything outside, the water pressure in the house went down. :( The company we have worked with for 38 years was not helpful, but Pierce with JKA thought a 3 inch diameter variable speed pump would work. Rich and Kyle installed the this morning and we now have 8 gallons per minute, which is all I can get with the current restrictors. Rich and Kyle were prompt, friendly and professional. JKA Well drilling was the answer to our 2yr quest to correct our serious water issues. After interviewing many "qualified" individuals Pierce was the only one who responded with solutions that addressed all of our needs.
