Absolutely the worst gym I have ever been too. I have had memberships at multiple gyms, large chains and small local ones. out of all of them riverside was the most run down, most expensive and most unfriendly staff. They are friendly when they try to get you to sign up and then after forget about it. I signed up under a "promotion" for being a teen for $40 a month!! Thats double what I paid at team fitness lakestevens. And that gym was much nicer and bigger plus FREE TOWELS! Also they put you under contract and the only way to get out is to pay $250. Or if you move you need to show them proof of moving...marriage certificate with new address isnt enough. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, go to urban fitness instead.

old reviews look horrible, this in no way represents riverside now. Been a member for 3 months now and Ive got nothing but good to say. Beautiful womens locker room with hair drying stations with real hairdryers! Last gym I went to just stuck hand dryers on the wall up high for your hair lol also front desk staff is always smiling and happy :) Everyones communicating with each other and having fun. They have an awesome tea/coffee station and great equipment. They usually have people there repairing things and keeping it up to shape. Awesome athletic club. Price may be high for some people, but dont talk trash about the place just because you cant afford it...

I got my membership in October 2016 (about 3.5 months ago) and wish I had done it years ago. This place feels more like a spa than a gym at times, but thats whats unique about this place. Unlike most mainstream gyms, with an open layout and little privacy, Riverside exemplifies a more flexible atmosphere for its guests. Each room is equipped to tailor a specific need, whether it be weight lifting, spinning, Zumba or Crossfit. Even on a busy day, you can find a secluded spot to just do your own thing. And... The pool is saltwater. Which is awesome.

I was a member here for a year and was very comfortable working out here. I started my m to f transexual transition and management and staff made me feel very comfortable and safe. I stopped going though because of things that were already in my head from before here. Dont ever go to the ymca in Mount Vernon as it is filthy dirty and I was assulted in the locker room and was treated very poorly by management.

Wish I never had signed up here. I moved 60 miles south and they refuse to cancel my membership. So Ive been stuck paying every month until I get some time to go get official documentation from the post office confirming address change. Then Ill take the trip up there to confirm cancelation. I wouldnt recommend this place to ANYONE. Run the other way you are better off at Urban fitness.

Dont usually write reviews but I left Urban Fitness tonight feeling amazing. Sat in my car thinking I never felt this way leaving Riverside. Urbans employees are encouraging and the atmosphere is uplifting. Left Riverside a couple years ago and Im glad I did. Saved myself over $375 a year. $60 at Riverside only $26 at Urban. Glad I found a club that motivates me to want to workout.

Loved working out here but RHC refuses to help if you fall into a hardship. I called for help and they offered to freeze my account for 10 a month but it would extend my contract. I understand that I signed the contract but if someone gets laid off you should be able to work with that person.

Love RHC! Have been a member for 2 years, love all the group classes and the huge schedule. Kids Club is great, too! All the instructors are super knowledgeable and want to make sure you are correctly doing the workouts. The staff is great and friendly.

The facility is adequate, but not for the price. Its quite bothersome they actually charge an additional "drop in fee" to use the gym in Sedro Woolley. If I didnt have so long to go on my contract, I would cancel my membership on principle alone.

While I was in the early phase of their construction, Ive been to many gyms and while I was living in the area, the price was steep for their facilities. I do however like the direction of the look and feel of the gyms remodel.

dont go here they just want youre money. I worked out here for 6 to 8 months they dont care about youre health.
