I recently finished the six-week Fundamentals course with Anne, the owner of Yoga Soleil. It was exactly what Id been looking for, both in the teachings and the atmosphere of the studio, which is very community-oriented. Annes approach to yoga is much more inward-focused than many other studios Ive visited, which always seem to lean more towards performing the postures only, often without the accompanying aspects of breathwork, presencing, and meditation. As part of the tuition of the full Fundamentals course, you are able to drop in on any other classes offered at the studio. This was a fabulous way to try out other teachers and classes, and I think there is someone/something offered for absolutely every body out there looking for a true yoga community, whether you want a faster paced flow class or a fully supported restorative experience. The studio also offers events such as gong healing, meditation and chanting workshops, which I think are long overdue in the Puyallup area. I am so thankful to have found and joined this community of individuals. Every teacher has been welcoming and wonderfully informative. Its a very non-intimidating and inclusive place to practice. -Owner, Gnarled Roots Massage Therapy

As I was eating at the establishment next door to this yoga place. Someone had parked the vehicle next to the restaurant, well this yoga place was having this vehicle towed. First off it is hard to see where there is a sign saying parking only for yoga. Not on the brick wall. Instead very faintly painted on the asphalt it says yoga. Now you dont see it if you park there. Because your vehicle is over it. I thought Yoga was about letting things go and channeling positive energy. Well apparently not here. I was so disgusted that this poor person would come out to find their vehicle towed and have to pay probably $300. Just because the yoga place doesnt have the signs posted clearly. How sad. So I will tell everyone I know what crappy mean people are at the yoga center and how they obviously dont have any positive energy.

Anne is the most wonderful yogi my wife and I have ever learned from. Were excited that the studio is in an easily accessible downtown Puyallup location, with pleasant natural light, very friendly students, and a great array of teachers to experience.

The staff at Yoga Soleil are welcoming and knowledgeable. I appreciate the wealth of classes that are offered. The studio is small yet warm and the prices are reasonable. Namaste

Anne, Connie and Sandi are the kindest done to Earth people. Beautiful Studio and great classes. Restorative Yoga has saved me from being in a wheel chair.
