Although this is an honest and positive review, I find it surprisingly hard to write... You see, in the short while that I have known the guys, the inklings of a friendship has started to develop, and I dont like gossiping about my friends. It speaks for itself then, that doing business with Redmond European, is like that; doing business with a trusted friend. The trust level with the guys is just so high where I never worry about whether something was done , or done right. You see, these guys differ from your other friends in one important way; they really know what they are doing. Its not even like my car is that great, but it is special and dear to me for a number of reasons, and I think Mike, Marty and the guys get that this is my baby... I feel they share my enthusiasm for my little car and they will just always do the best job they possibly can. Telling you how great they are, is useless, just my opinion of my experiences... Go visit them and give them a try, just once... The price is probably going to be substantially less than any other specialist garage... I bet youll go back...

This is the 3rd time I have used RE and they are my EASY FIX button for my A4 B5 Audi. Monte is the owner, they know their niche and I havent had a problem with any past repairs. My car is my only source of transportation so it is imperative that it works with no problems. Their shop works on German cars and is very clean, kept organized and you could relax knowing that its fixed right... or they will advise you how to fix your problem. They are easy to talk to and just treat you like a friend vs "Now serving customer #118" Last item is you can tell they take pride in their work and most of them drive the cars they work on. Yes they are competitive on price but I drive an Audi and I want quality so I get the best with Monte.

I have been taking my car since last year to Redmond European even though its almost 15 miles from home. Why? First, because they are honest and caring, and thats something really hard to find in the Seattle area. The first time I went with them they told me to wait a few months for a major repair, which a nearby dealership had described as imminent. And when the time finally came, their estimate was a lot less. They offered me once to buy a spare part on my own and ship it to them so that I dont have to pay their premium. Second, because these guys love and are proud of what they do. And last, because their craftsmanship and knowledge is impeccable in all the brands they service.

I have been using Monty and Mike for years. They are fast, affordable and thorough. They work on our BMW and VW street cars and have built three air cooled 911 motors for me. Monty can build a high rpm race 2 liter or a torquey 2.7 street motor. They even came to my rescue when my boat trailer brakes froze and repaired them for me as all the marine shops were three + weeks out. Additionally I have referred multiple friends to them and they have all been very satisfied with the work and continue using them for their service, repairs and upgrades on new cars as well as vintage BMWs, Porsches and Volkswagens. Took my 2005 Audi A4 Avant in a couple weeks ago for an alignment, got the car back and after a couple days of driving it, it still didnt feel quite right. I called Mike up and let him know my concerns. Mike told me to bring the car right back and and "we would make it right" he said. Thats exactly what the team there did, made it right, and at no extra charge. I trust Redmond European with my vehicle for any wants and needs I have. If Im not working on my car myself, there arent many other places I trust to take it. Redmond European is a place a trust completely. Thanks guys!

I reached out to this firm regarding a car that was offered for sale in their area. The car fax indicated that they had provided service on the vehicle recently and I inquired as to what observations they may have made regarding the vehicles condition at the time. The representative was generous with their time and thorough with the information provided which acted as the basis of my decision making. The fact that I was contacting them from across the country (New Jersey) was no different than if I was a member of their own community which was greatly appreciated.

Great service level and expertise. I live outside of WA state and recently needed to get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done on an air-cooled Porsche that was for sale in the Seattle area. I chose Redmond European because they were positively mentioned for their work on a Porsche owner website. The PPI they conducted was extremely thorough (they uncovered numerous serious issues with the car I was considering). Both Mike and Marc are clearly extremely knowledgeable about these cars and were great to work with. Couldnt be more pleased.

The most important quality in a service shop is honesty and integrity. I trust these guys. Not every job goes perfect, but in my experience they go the extra mile(s) to make sure the job gets finished properly. They are also very practical in their recommendations. In the course of a service job, they noticed the end of one plug wire was bad, rather than telling me I needed a whole new set, Monty fixed it with a part from his tool box, no charge.

I called today trying to get a lug nut key replaced for my 05 Boxster. I had to be directed to an actual Porsche dealership for this SPECIFIC need, but the customer service was awesome especially since at the moment Im not in need of their services. He even told me to call him back if I wasnt able to get the help I was looking for. I could tell right away that this was a place Id want to go if I need anything in the future!

Saved me a lot of money! Got my timing belt/water pump service done here for much less ($600 less) than the Audi dealership quoted. They also tried to get what looked like stop leak out of my coolant system for free. Like the review below me, I would agree they are very honest and will never scam you or charge you for more than you absolutely need. Repairs have been done well, I will be going to them from now on.

Ive always being very happy with the service and the personal touch Redmond European provides me as a costumer. They always have the best disposition, they only work with OEM parts, and they treat you like family, saving you a few bucks whenever possible. I highly recommend Redmond European for your Audi, VW, BMW, Porsche, or Mini needs!

This was my first experience with Redmond European and I was very happy with the outcome. While this was a routine maintenance (oil change, lubrication) and not a repair, I was still impressed with the thoroughness of their work. I particularly am pleased with having such a great place for servicing my autos that is so close to home.

I have been taking my cars to Redmond European for a number of years now. Was referred by a friend who had been trying all the same German car repair places as I had been. Very happy with the service quality, and most importantly, the sensitivity to the budget. My only issue is they dont work on my Italian cars.....too bad.
