My 2002 Toyota Tundras A/C light was blinking. I brought it in on a Wednesday (6/17) and they fixed it right up for a reasonable price. The following Friday (6/19), the A/C went out again and light began to blink. I called the store to let them know (about an hour before their closing time) and spoke with Ken. He asked if I was available first thing in the morning the next day (Saturday 6/21). Since I was not, they made an appointment that fit MY schedule, not theirs, on the following Monday (6/22). Again, they fixed it right up. That evening, the A/C crapped out yet again. I called after hours and someone still picked up the phone!!! He said he would leave a note and someone would give me a call when they open tomorrow. I got a call from John at 7am the next morning, right when they opened (Tuesday 6/23). John asked me to bring the truck in for a 3rd time and will have it fixed for good. You may be wondering why I would be writing a 5 star review when I had to bring my truck in 3x to get the A/C fixed. The answer is simple. As far as the mechanics knew, they fixed the problem each time I brought in the vehicle. When I left, the A/C light wasnt blinking and air was blowing cold. Second, every time I called, they were more than accommodating to fit me into their schedule. They even offered to pay for a rental car during this experience. On the 3rd and final visit to get the A/C fixed, they were very communicative in that they were going to make the repair and take the truck on multiple test drives with resting breaks in between to make sure it works once and for all. Upon pick-up, I spoke with Matt who offered a free oil change for the troubles. At 9:30am on Wednesday (6/24), John called again just to check and see if the A/C was performing up to par. I know this is a long review and I rarely read reviews of this length, but I needed to share this story. Their communication, determination, transparency, and customer service was above and beyond most other auto shops. Every employee I worked with at the front counter was very friendly and professional. Thank you, Ken, John, Matt and the Firestone Complete Auto Care Crew!

This place either has culture of "we do not want your business" or "dont bother us we are too busy" Three months ago I went to this place and wanted to have new tires on my Suburban but they did not even wanted to talk to me because I did not had appointment.. Ok.. no problem I went somewhere else and spent $1100.. This place lost Money. A month Ago I went in again because brakes were making noise and I said to myself, lets try this time may be they are not busy.. Guess what.. They were and did not wanted to talk to me because I did not had appointment. I went across the street at Les Schwab and with in an hour they replaced it and spent $434. This place lost Money. Today 12/18/16 I made an appointment for oil change at 3pm.. So I went in there, Gentleman behind the desk asked how can I help you and I said I have an oil change appointment then he replied Ok. Next what he said just blew my mind. He said it will take about TWO hours to get it done because they are so busy. I said but that is the reason why I made an appointment and he replied that their online system doesnt communicate well enough with their store system when booking an appointment.... I was like WTF is going in here.... If I dont make an appointment they tell me the reason that they dont have time for me AND when I make an appointment then they will tell me that we are too busy to get it done in timely manner... Another way of telling me that just leave.... Guess what I left.. First two times with bad experience it did not bother me that much but this time---this review is well deserved.. Nice work Firestone Redmond!!! Keep it up!!!

The Champion HR tires I bought for my Prius are delivering horrible mileage. The rolling resistance must be incredibly high on these. I certainly hope they deliver better snow and rain traction. I came in with a tire quote and an appointment. Service was somewhat slow and my online quote somehow ballooned over $100 with un-asked-for add-ons. As it was, Firestone charged an additional $7 per tire over the quote because I have pressure-sensing tire system on my car. In addition, I received the usual admonition for not getting an alignment. What is it with Firestone and their fixation on alignments as an automotive maintenance cure-all? To top it off, when I inquired about tire pressure, I was told I was nuts for expressing surprise that the tires I bought (which replaced tires with max pressure set to 44 PSI) had a max pressure of 35 PSI, which, according to them, is pretty standard. Guess what? When I got home, I checked the sidewalls of my new tires: max pressure...44 PSI. And they had set them to 33-35 PSI, way below where they should have been. So obviously, no one is even looking at what the product recommendations are, WHICH IS WRITTEN RIGHT ON THE PRODUCT THEY ARE INSTALLING. Eh, I wont be back...

Ive been using this shop for regular oil changes, repairs, and tire service for the past 3 years. I have good things and bad things to say about this shop. The good one is that I have no complaints about the quality of service they performed on my car: everything was done on time and without problems - all nuts and bolts were in place, properly tightened, the new parts they installed did not immediately break, etc. With the Firestone account, some mail-in coupons, and the Microsoft employee discount I always get 10-50% off the price at this shop (e.g., Ive never paid more than $10..15 for oil changes in there). The bad thing is that these guys like to charge you more than necessary for the parts. E.g., recently they charged me $300 (plus the diagnistics and the installation labour all in all coming to nearly $600!) for a part that I could have bought online for $70..90 (or $120 in a shop down the street, or $25 at Lynnwood junkyard). So, if they recommend to replace something in your car, be sure to check the price for the part online (thats where smartphones might come quite handy), and dont hesitate to request detailed explanations why their cost is so high.

Just picked up my Toyota MH yesterday @ noon and everything came out perfect. Kevin their new Service Manager fit me in, even though I didnt have an appointment. Kevin contacted his Store Manager and also, got me $10 off each tire, which was unexpected. They also had time to do my Lifetime Alignment recheck and perform a Coupon Oil Change. This isnt the first time, Firestone in Redmond has fit me in, last week, I called the Bellevue Store on Saturday looking for an Oil Change, but they were booked until Monday. The young lady, Carolyn I believe fit me in right away and I was done within the Hour. They have a whole new Crew in the Front. New Store Manager whos doing a great job and the new Tire Salesman, Sherman from Spokane is also excellent. If you need Car Repairs and/or Tires, you should give this new crew a chance, youll be pleased.

Been going to this store for oil change and minor repair for the last few years. Last Saturday, my 2000 Tacoma blew the head gasket. These guys gave me an estimate of around $1500 which is pretty close to the market rate (outside of dealerships) and told me the truck will be finished by Friday. Got a call on Tuesday with a new estimate of $3600. John told me the previous estimate left out the 10 head bolts, at $110 each. Needless to say, I stopped work on it. I talked to them a couple more times to give them a chance to get their story straight but nothing changed. The whole experience was very shady. Took it to another shop nearby and had it fixed for $1500. Buyer be aware.
