I have been taking my car to the Jaguar dealership for years, until a friend recommended that I give Mark’s shop a try. I am so glad I did. The customer service was excellent. I had a check engine light on and Mark’s mechanics determined I needed a catalytic converter. The whole thing was shot and I only had 66,000 miles on my car. Mark called around to all of his suppliers to get the best price for the part. Mark then told me it was going to cost me around $3100. I went to his shop and gave him $3200 cash. Before he purchased the parts, he recommended I call the dealership because he thought it may be under warranty. I called them and was told it wasn’t under warranty. I then called Mark to tell him it wasn’t and to get my parts coming. He took it upon himself to call dealer himself to say that there should be 8 years or 80,000 mile warranty. Dealership told him yes its under warranty, so he called to tell me to call them again. Long story short, I was told no warranty. He called a few more times to figure out why we were being told different stories. He gave me the name of the person to ask for at dealership. Sure enough my car was under WARRANTY! Thanks to Mark I saved over $3100. Mark and his crew are honest and trustworthy, and know how to repair all cars. I tell everyone how great they are with cars and to their customers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My friend took her Honda Civic to Honda Bellevue. Blown head gasket, they quoted $4,000.00. Told her I would do some checking. Marks quoted $1,800. I was impressed with their professionalism and shops tidy appearance. She took the car to them and they did the repair and included a timing belt (no charge) because they already had the engine apart. Nice touch. So, when my Ford F150 Check Engine light came on I took it to Marks. The truck was running rough. They diagnosed the problem and then fixed it for the diagnostic fee. Last, just picked up my daughters Mazda Protege. Front and rear engine mounts, front and rear sway bar links, rear sway bar bushings, oil and filter change plus drive belts. 25% less than the dealer quoted me PLUS car was ready exactly when they told me it would be. My 3 experiences in the past 2 months have been perfect.

The story started with freon leak in my Honda Pilot. They refilled the gas, but shortly after the service, A/C stopped working. They explained that A/C condenser needs to be replaced. Condenser replacement cost me $948. Only one month after A/C stopped working again - A/C Compressor has gone. Another $777 was paid. After several days A/C stopped working again. I went to Honda dealership. They concluded: The replacement A/C assembly seized and caused metal shards to go into A/C system. They had to install new A/C condenser and compressor. I went to shop asking for explanation. They told me that I had to repair compressor in their shop by warranty. Should I let these guys touch my car again? Would I go to this shop if I knew what will happened?!!

Usually when I take a car to a new shop I have my wife take it in, because she knows nothing about cars and is easily duped. I do this to find out how honest the shop is. I know enough about cars to when a service is not needed, so when she comes home I look over the estimate to find things that were thrown in to squeeze more money out of us. When she brought home the estimate from Marks is was spotless. He even suggested a cheaper fix to the problem! Ive taken my cars to Marks ever since. Theyre always looking for ways to save $$$ for the customer and they always give it to you straight.

The girl at the front desk is very very rude, pathetic and bitchy; doesnt listen to the customer; doesnt cooperate; has lot of negetive attitude; doesnt help; always looking how to charge more and rip off money from customers. She will keep talking and wont listen to what you have to say, no matter how you communicate. I will never go there, tell all my friends not to go there. And if you dont want to get treated horribly, stay away from the Issaquah Marks Auto. Very bad behavior and doesnt care at all for the customers needs.

I have been looking for a place to get my oil changed as well as major service and repair for my brakes and things like that.Marks can do it all. I would recommend Marks repair shop to anyone looking for a reasonable price and honest mechanics. I appreciate the excellent customer service as well as the knowledge of the mechanics who work there, everyone there takes the time to explain in detail what work is recommended. Thanks to all at Marks for keeping my car in great condition!

Needed a new battery for my Honda Civic. I had no idea where to take it and so I checked reviews and called a number of places. Ended up choosing these guys and they were great. No extra fees like some of the shops, they did the work quickly, and were professional yet friendly. My vehicle is overdue for a major maintenance and Im getting it done there. Im so glad to have found a local garage that I feel good about.

Had an engine installed by these guys. Very timely and very competitive. They quote the true price upfront instead of trying to get you in the door and wait until your car is in the middle of the job to add on. They even showed me the blue book value versus the cost of the repair to make sure if it was worth putting money into this car. A happy customer here.

Marks Auto Detailing was not a good experience. Their customer service was ok, but the service itself was very sub-par. For $260 (and $210 after they gave me a $50 customer refund), they were supposed to completely detail my automobile. I should have just paid $15 for the Berry Best at Brown Bear...it would have been just as good.

Mark gets 5 stars for being honest. Had my car towed in yesterday and we found out that Oil Can Henrys left my intake boot off, thus causing stalling issues. Mark fixed it and charged me only for the diagnostic. I really appreciate the honesty as a new guy in town and will recommend him to anyone in the area.

I was having issues replacing my lightbulb in my car and drove to the first mechanic I saw. The owner came out and helped me replace it without charging me and refusing a tip. He was so nice!!
