If I could give this place less than one I would. Being newer to the area I read the reviews and then went inside to schedule and talk to them in person. The young lady that helped me was "ok". I told her I was thinking about getting a perm and hair color. She steered me wrong about that but I talked to the owner and she rescheduled my services so that I would get a perm first and a color a week or so later. Last time I had a perm was over 30 years ago. The person that permed my hair there was horrible!! The picture I am posting is the after, not the before!!!! It was so wrecked that I drove over an hour to my former hairstylist to try and fix. That is where this pic was taken. The person at Bliss didnt trim it like she should have, however when I came back from the restroom just before she put perm lotion on my hair I saw hair on the ground around my chair. I asked her if she cut my hair as she had me facing away from the mirror and she never said anything about cutting my hair. She said she took off a few pieces that wouldnt look good after my perm. The reality is she was trying to move the curling things around because she ran out of long curly things for the hair. Instead of figuring it out she just chopped my hair! I was shocked as one piece was about 4 inches long but I thought with the curls I was supposed to have she would blend it in. Not so...she never trimmed my hair afterwards and sent me home with wet hair! As it was drying I was horrified by what I was seeing. It was like some kids doll that thrown in the back of the closet and found year later. She ruined my hair! Not only that she gossiped about everyone there. She told me all about the owners upcoming divorce and how her husband left her three days before her birthday which was just before Christmas. She told me about the young gal there and how she and her kids where living with her. She told me all about the young gals issues and how her mother was a meth addict. It went on and on until finally the owner showed up. There was so much more she said about these two. I have never had such a horrible experience in my 50 plus years of life. Keep in mind this is an after photo of what she did. Notice no curl just very damaged hair and you can tell where she chopped a few chunks out.

Im a curly girl, and met Ella at the Home & Garden Show in April, where I learned that shes certified to work with curls. I was spending $$$ and TIME driving all the way to Olympia just for a haircut, so I made an appointment at Bliss. Unlike that place in Olympia, I got an appointment this week! I was welcomed to a serene, lovely salon, and barely sat down in the waiting room before Ella walked in. She did a fantastic job on my curls, and advised me on coloring options. Im going gray, but dont want to hide the gray, just make my hair shiny again, and she gave me some great advice. This place is great and I will transfer my curly locks business here for good. I look forward to learning about their other services. Highly recommended!

Very expensive/average service. I took my 16 year old in - and she had a picture of what she wanted. The end result did not look at all like the picture. Her being so young, said she like it, but then we got home and said she did not like. I called and they said it would be the following week that they could get her in for a consultation (and that was just for consult to see what they would do-not the actual service). They told me that it could cost for $... I had paid $170.00 for a ombre type service... I did not think I should have to pay anymore.

Great stylists! Ive taken in pics of what I would like and they are all great about creating something similar that works for my hair type (very curly and thick). Plus, I love the Avada products. Gentle on my hair and scalp. I dont find it fading as others have done. Each time I go in it is always a relaxing time.

I love getting my hair done by Stephanie. The atmosphere is so calming and I love the music they place. I always feel so comfortable there. My husband loved his massage I got him as a gift. Great place with a great staff!
