Good morning there is any of PC fix I really enjoy everybodys business at the Lake city store and of Ballard store. I wish there was a way that I can help out why answering the phone with my cell phone until you guys open. It is just a thought? I wanted to say thank you to the Lake city store for protecting my computer like the technician did the technician did a wonderful job on working on my computer system. It turns out all I downloaded a Firefox update. Do not download the Firefox update version what happened to me. It took my computer off-line and I was not a happy camper until I turned to the Lake city store in the technician got my computer back to normal operations for some reason my taskbar was changed to a different settings and I get in touch it but if it wasnt for the technician I thank him very much for finding a system restore… That I forgot I had in my system and he found it and ran it, and brought my system to operations thank you again Lake city for doing a wonderful job of protecting my machine I have been a member of PC fix for 5 to 7 years and Ive never been happier with the technicians I talked to on the phone I wish there is no way I can give you guys 10 start for outstanding service everybody at PC fix means a lot to me you guys are like big brothers to me and family!

When I brought my laptop in to be looked at, I made it clearly known upfront that I did not want to invest a lot of money into fixing this computer (as I do not like the one I currently own) and that I should be notified of expensive fixes prior to doing them because I wanted to authorize such a payment first. The next day I got a text saying my laptop was ready for pickup and that the LCD cable had come unattached but was reattached and was displaying properly now. When I arrived to get it, I was flabbergasted when I received a bill of $154.03. When I questioned the guy as to why I was not notified of a price like that he was argumentative and projected opinions on me and told me that "$300-400 is an expensive fix and starting to get into new computer territory" and that my computer works just fine, that there was no need to replace it, I could keep it as a back up if I wanted to, and that he cleaned it for me as well. All of which was true, but what not I am paying him for, and he does not know my financial situation. He charged me $154.03 just to plug a cable back in.. no replacement parts were needed. I am giving 2 stars because he did get my computer working and the turn around time was fast, but I would not go back again or recommend to a friend.

My Toshiba laptop had slowly gotten more and more sluggish until it seemed like it was taking forever to start up. The computer was not that old, and I didn’t think I had a virus because I had an anti-virus program. I did scans and tried everything I could think of but did not get any improvement. I found this computer repair shop and went in to discuss my problem with them. They said they’d diagnose the problem for 50 bucks and if they find something wrong they would give a quote for fixing it. They called me back the next day and said that the main problem was a huge number of programs that were loaded on start-up, programs that I never used or even knew that I had. They recommended that we kill most of those which they could easily do. But if I wanted to really speed things up I should consider a “solid state hard drive” which they said they could install for me. It sounded good so I said OK. Two days later I had the computer back and the difference was like night and day. I am completely happy with their service. They gave me good advice, told me what they would do, did what they told me, and solved my problem.

Went in to have the BIOS set for IDE to SATA drives and check out 2 adaptors. Jason looked at the adaptors and immediately said they were no good and I needed to buy a card from him. As I explained to a employee I had talked to earlier in the day ( a nice gentleman), I wanted the BIOS checked first. Jason repeated his first statement and I told him "never mind, I would take it to another store to have it checked." My wife and I took the parts to our car (30 feet away) and I looked back and Jason was standing outside the door giving us the finger! I returned to the store and confronted Jason and he said he didnt like my attitude. We are both in our late 60s and had never seen this type of customer attitude before. Everthing was fine with us until this parting gesture. Possibly a good store but one terrible employee !!

George was very knowledgable and fixed it right away with the $50 express fee since I was only in town for the day and needed laptop badly before I went home. He also predicted what would go wrong next which actually happened! George is no longer here but David took care of me right away in a very fast and courteous manner for a simple manner. Showed me how to live with the problem for awhile instead of recommending an immediate more expensive fix = that is true customer friendly service

Tim was great! He came out quickly and ran tests on our newer laptops that were crashing when CAD was being used. He was unable to fix them but gave me the test results to use with Dell in resolving the issues. It was great having the information to share with Dell, so they wouldnt continue to try to rip us off with bad computers. Dell is replacing 2 bad mother boards. I highly recommend PC Fix!

I was very pleased with my experience with David at PCFix in Ballard. I have an ancient XP machine that I wanted to keep running for awhile longer. Didnt want to boot. David took on the challenge with gusto, and, voila, its up and running like a champ. When it does die, will purchase my next computer at PCFix in Ballard. Nice to work with a small shop with a personal, neighborhood feel.

Dave is the greatest! When I called PC FIX in Ballard, Dave asked detailed questions and gave detailed instructions, and my DELL laptop was up and running in less that 15 minutes! His was the BEST customer service we have experienced compared to other companies we have had to deal with over the last few months.

We took an old tower into the shop, and David was great. Our tower was so dusty it was embarrassing and he cleaned it out for us. Because he couldnt get the motherboard to launch (liquid cooler was dead) he didnt charge us for his time. He had some good insights while we figure out how much effort is worth it.
