Scary. I spoke with the owner several times to resolve this and the result of that was mind boggling. Beware of his emotional pleas. No receipt for dropping off your computer. No follow up. Owner has more excuses than integrity. Emotional pleas for days. Unprofessional. Your computer will move between several locations without your permission. When you ask for your things back after being dissapointed, thats the first you will hear of any diagnosis charge (apparently $75). Employee challenged and bullied me when I tried to call him on lack of customer service. There are lots of shops in town that offer FREE diagnostics. (On 6th ave just a few minutes down the road). I was in the car on my way to pick up my computer when my mom told me she dropped her laptop off the be diagnosed and a quote to repair, then they called and said it was done. Yes finished without permission ($150). When told they did not get that approved the owner replied by saying "oh well I can remove the harddrive and put the bad one back in". Hes willing to lose twice as much labor so you dont have a working computer. WOW. Ofcourse she paid, that is not the point, but his response speaks volumes for his character. Integrity is a word missing from the vocabulary. This was an EPIC bad experience. Another shop a few minutes away on 6th went above and beyond and restored my faith in humanity.

When looking for a decent video card to start a bit of video production. I searched just about everywhere and these guys found the best card for what I wanted in less than 24 hours. Very knowledgeable on the products they sell and find, and were very kind. Definitely people to talk to even if you dont need parts. Ill be going back soon to get more parts to make my build perfect. I would recomend these guys for anyone who has computer issues or needs parts. In addition, they test each part to ensure the user gets the top of the line equipment. They know operating systems like the back of their hands and can build a good quality rig at a fast pace that blows others out of the water. Proficient in several types of cooling systems, know chipsets, and can recommend the best route to get the quality of system youre looking for. Epic PCs is the realist shop Ive ever walked into in the Pacific Northwest.

I’ve bought all sorts of components from here and they’ve all worked flawlessly. Unlike the big box stores, there are actual computer parts here: motherboards, CPU’s, memory, hard drives, cases, power supplies, peripherals, - even some used components. If you’re like me and you like to build your PC’s from scratch, this is the shop for you. (They’ve also got preassembled PC’s if you’re less computer savvy.) Prices are reasonable – always better than Best Buy and they’re comparable to online retailers if you factor in the added costs of shipping and the headache of going through mail-in rebates. If you need help, their employees offer advice - without the sales pitch. Only gripe: I wish he had a site with pricing and inventory.

*A Good Place for Routine and Performance Service* I bought parts and used computers for gnu/linux boxes here five years ago. Its a great place for computer repair, parts. The owner is friendly, low key, and knows what hes doing. Most customers seemed satisfied. The shop also looked like a good place to build a gaming/media rig. It was filled with exotic motherboards, graphics cards, sound systems, etc. The owner is a gamer himself. The owner is a treasure. I would give the place five stars if it were not for tobacco use which may put people off when they walk in. Dont let it. The owner managed to keep the systems clean by walking outside to smoke.

The place is under new management and the new owner steven built my ryzen pc within a matter of hours and was well impressed with his knowledge on computing! I went everywhere before epic pc, they didnt want to touch it.... WHY?!?!?!? I bring my components to epic-pc and within a few hours had everything i needed up and running and super fast and clean! As far as Im aware, the old management was bodging parts to make money, according to my friend, the old owners name was dustin, the new management seems up to any task. Fantastic work steven, great job! Will definitely visit again even if its for the laughs we had!

The guy who runs this shop is incredibly helpful. He answered all my questions over the phone. Advised me as to the best possible course of actions, (saving me a few hundred bucks that he could have made easily) and even gave me step by step directions on how to fix what I could myself before I went any farther. You rarely see that kind of customer service without a person getting anything out of it anymore! This is now where I will turn for all my computer needs in the future.

Not sure why Erik seems to have had the worst experience (and the only below 4-star review here), but I suppose every business needs an unhappy customer. I know the owner and have for years. This man knows more about technology than half of the folks I have ever worked for/with and he always teaches me new things every time I visit. He loves his business, loves his customers, and refuses to let anyone leave unhappy on a daily basis. 5 stars throughout. :)

I would not take your PC to this store. Took my computer in just to get some maintenance and left with more problems than i had brought in. My computer was damaged and dropped in front of me and still charged me for the repair on top of that it would be more worth it to take your computer to a more recognized store than this hole in the wall. Use at your at your own discretion.

Went in for an external dvd writer, and a wireless router (no he doesnt cost more than fred myers and he is cheaper than best buy- and in answer to your question: yes you are killing children whenever you visit these chain stores), he only had the dvd writer (a really good one too!) and then somehow I ended up walking out with both. . . resourceful guy. I endorse.

I have patronized this shop sporadically for years; it is recently under new management and I have nothing but good to say about it. I took my computer in for a "boot loop", they had it out by the end of day. Courteous, attentive service and very willing to accommodate my needs, and computer is now working perfectly. What more could a customer want?!

What a great little business this guy has here. I needed a new component for my wifes computer and got what I needed and more. I was impressed with the shop, it reminded me of the old school stores I worked in when I first started out, it is obviously a labor of love for the owner (Steve, I believe,) Will definitely use this place again.

The owner was very unprofessional. I walked in asking if my ssd was corrupt and he said he left the tools to do it at home. If I come in asking for services in exchange for money, have the decency to bring your tools EVERY DAY!
