We’ve used the Techlab’s services several times on our four computers (one very old Gateway desktop, a Gateway laptop, an IBM thinkpad x40, and a Lenovo thinkpad x200). We’ve had really good experiences with them, especially Sunny. They are very friendly and easy to deal with, honest, timely, respectful. Their prices seem good, but they may take a little more time because they’re small. It’s expensive to replace computers and they’ve helped us keep the IBM thinkpad and the Gateway laptop running well past their expected lifespan. I run my entire business off the Lenovo thinkpad and they’ve helped me with some serious BSOD and wifi issues. Once Sunny was unable to fit my computer in just before we left on vacation. Instead, he met with me for an half of an hour, after hours, to give me some advice. As a result, he saved me from installing an unneeded piece of hardware and having to visit Geek Squad while in Hawaii. Also, they aren’t half my age, don’t treat me like an idiot, don’t assume I have an IT person to fix everything for me, and don’t insist on speaking “techi” to me at all times (which drives me batty). When I go in, Sunny is there. It is not a different person every time. They’re especially convenient if you live in Mt. Baker, Beacon Hill, International District or the Central District since they’re right behind Toshio’s (awesome cheap teriyaki owned by a really nice family) at the Rainier Exit of I-90, but probably worth the drive from anywhere in Seattle-Bellevue area. My father-in-law has used them also and had good experiences.

They really know what they are doing and doing amazing. I dont need to emphasize on how well they are in repairing, as other users did mention. They are friendly and professional, Sunny did save my gears several times. It save my money from buying new one, and my laptop and phone are still working well. Did I mentioned that they also accept used cell phones? They pay well to my used iPhone 3GS, when I get my new iPhone 4. They pay best among other trade-in programs, what they do is a fast checking on my used phone and then I got my money in no time. I think you can get your old phones to them when you have something need fixed, you will find out the old phone, which you think it is a scrap, can be valueable. This is a place I will recommend my family and friends should go when they have a problem with their computers or cell phones, and you should too!

Scamners in disguise be aware, turned in my mac book came back 5 days later they didnt even start repairs yet , all I wanted was a diagnostic, then they tried to says the problem was a motherboard, my wife not knowing any better almost paid for it but I told her other wise , we called geek squad and all they did was reinstall the operating system and it worked like new , geek squad told us theres no possible way that tech lab could have thought that it was a motherboard and that they were trying to scam us for more money so watch out for tech lab and the guy at the counter named charels you been warned.

Though helpful, after almost 2 weeks till I received my LG G2 back, it wasnt 100%. I downloaded some touch screen apps to see if it would soon reconfigure, but it didnt. After a little over a week, I inquired if this is normal, he confirmed it does happen though hed be happy to reinstall another screen without labor cost and to pay for the part. I told him I had to think about it and would get back to him in a couple of days. I decided to go for it, as I re-confirmed regarding his offer of NO Labor Charge and Pay for the Part- I never heard from him again! DISAPPOINTED. Oh Well

They had the real-deal Dell adapter for my laptop at a reasonable price. When I had charging problems 6 months later they said no problem, bring it in. They quickly figured out it was the adapter. Even though Id lost the receipt, they had the transaction on their computer, found out it was still under warranty, and set me up with a new one (still Dell, but looks like Dells upgraded the leads). They even gave me an honest assessment of an additional problem I was having. No messing around, no hassle; cheerful, helpful service.

Thank God for Tech Lab. I went to Geek Squad for my PC and they said I had to buy another computer. Took it to Tech Lab and they fixed the problem and it only cost me $200. I went to the Apple Store for my Mac and they said it would cost me $1400 to fix it. Took it to Tech Lab, they fixed the problem and it only cost me $57. This is the only lab I ever going when I have computer problems. I live 45 minutes away from the store and I dont mind the drive because they provide quality service for a quality price.

When my laptop crashed Lai Tran rescued me! He was able to retrieve all the data from the crashed laptop, recommend a replacement computer and set up the new one laptop without losing any of my data or documents. He recommend additional programs and set them up so my data would sync to all my devices so I never have to worry about losing any important information or pictures again. Lai is very knowledgeable, helpful, professional and fun to work. I highly recommend him if you need computer tech help.

After two previous experiences with two different computer guys who spent hours and didnt accomplish much, and one hour on the phone with Geek Squads Askanagent, Sunny came today and took only one hour to get my new computer to download files and set my new printer up with our network. Sunny didnt sit still, attacked another problem on our other computer while the new printer software was downloading. Hes impressive. By oldart August 25,2010

Cracked my iPhone 5 screen today at work and wanted something fast and decently priced. Found the good reviews in yelp so I called. I showed up to his house 20 minutes later. Watched him change the screen and had a decent convo with him cause I kept messing with him LOL 20 minutes later phone is fixed! New screen works well slightest touch it senses it. Typing in my new screen as I speak! :) Convenient, fast and last minute, worth the $90

Sunny had replaced a touchscreen on a phone for my boyfriend a few weeks ago. That was done quickly with no fuss or muss, and a decent price too. Well, I broke the screen again! So I called Sunny and asked if he had a replacement in stock. He did, and had me come down a few days later. Got in and out within a couple of hours. Hes helpful, has good prices and is a nice guy overall. Take your laptop in there --theyll fix it!

Lai was very fast with my repairs and he went beyond just repairing - he loaded up some extras for me, spent a lot of time explaining how to get optimal work (& fun) out of my little device. He also maintains and repairs the company-owned computers and all of the privately owned laptops, for our company and is universally praised. He honors his commitments, keeps his appointments and has never disappointed me.
