I have had two negative experiences here and I wont be coming back for a third. Also I believe Ive spoken to two different people on the phone here, and both have been quite rude; my thought is that they have no patience for people who actually know a thing or two about cars. Most recently, one of my wheel bearings failed. This caused my ABS warning light to come on. They replaced the wheel bearing, but the car was returned to me with the ABS light still on. Some days later, I locked my wheels braking for a yellow light. (So not only was the ABS light on...my ABS was not working at all.) When I brought the car back in, they couldnt tell me why the ABS light was still on. After driving for several weeks (in the winter, with no ABS) I had a separate issue with my car and took it to another shop. I asked them to look at the ABS light if they had time. They reported back that the ABS sensor (on the wheel where they had replaced the bearing) had been broken either when the bearing failed, or by the shop that performed the repair. Im not saying they broke it, but this repair shop failed to complete a simple repair on my 2006 Subaru, and I dont have time for 2 star service.

I have a Honda Civic Hybrid with a manual transmission which is something of a limited edition car (mostly their CRV transmissions now) so when I was looking for a service shop, I really wanted to find someone who would know what they were doing and give me good advice and service. A friend recommended them to me and I have been extraordinarily happy with their service every time. David, the owner, always explains what needs to be done and is happy to answer any questions I have about why or to what level things need to be done. I feel like his prices are very reasonable. When I was considering selling, he even looked up blue book prices and helped me think about what repairs I might want to do before selling to get the best deal for my car. All of his mechanics are pleasant to work with as well. If I hadnt moved to a different state, I would still be happily going to this Auto shop.

Last week my Nissan 2008 started making some strange noise coming from the middle pipe in the exhaust system. I wasnt sure if this problem is covered by power train warranty through Nissan so I just took it to the closest repair shop and likely it was Seattle Auto Service and Repair Center. David diagnosed my problem the same day my car was checked in and suggested that take my car to the Nissan service because this problem could be covered by the powertrain warranty. He explained whats going on and what exactly happened with my card. He didnt even charge me for the diagnostics!!!! With knowledge like that I was able to get my problem covered under warranty (even though it wasnt easy). Thank you David! You got a new happy customer. :)

Went in today wondering if the shop can help me out with my scooter tires due to a short lunch break and could not make it to a regular scooter shop. The shop onwer personally mount and dismounted the tires for me with a smile. Very local very friendly. What impressed me more is that during my short visit there, an old lady came and asked if the shop would help her mount her license plates, a mechanic came out and did it for her without question nor the direction from the onwer. I know these are little things but it comes to show what kind of people they are and that they care about the neighborhood. I will go back to them when i have automotive needs in the future.

Great Place. Nice People. I found my longterm auto repair shop! I brought in my Hyundai Elantra because the check engine light had been on for awhile. They diagnosed it and got it back to me the same day. The next day the light came on again. The problem ended up being trickier, almost unheard for a car with low mileage. They could have charged me almost $800 for all the labor and troubleshooting but chose not to because they had not caught the problem on the first day. I really appreciated their honesty and flexibility. Ill bring my car back!

I took my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe in for a 60K service. The owner was very helpful over the phone and created an estimate for me to review. He explained all the necessary procedures and the final cost was very close to the estimate. Unlike the dealers who do all the possible service even if they arent needed, they took the time to examine the car and determine what exactly needed to be done. I took the car in at 9 AM and it was ready by 5 PM the same day. Very honest and clearly knows what they are doing. Highly recommended.

My wife introduced me to these guys specifically david 5 years back and I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else. Service is always a five star experience and his crew is always professional. They know there stuff and if you dont they know how to explain things so us non mechanics can understand. My favorite thing about this shop is they are honest when it comes to repairs you need to get and the ones you can wait to get. If you want a great, honest, reliable mechanic youve come to the right shop.

I have been a customer of Davids for 8+ years and have always been pleased with the quality of their work, flexibility of my work schedule and sensitivity of my financial limitations. I appreciate the email reminders about upcoming oil changes and any anticipated repairs that are in need of attention. I rely on my car for out of town business trips that take me as far as Central Montana. I would recommend this auto shop to anyone in a heart beat!

They were super fast, reliable, and friendly. I had problems with my Nissan Maxima and they were able to do a test on my starter to confirm this problem and then fix it the next day. I got my car back the next day after work,making it super convenient for me. I also got some discounts for a first time customer, etc. Overall they were GREAT communicators on during the process and I would definitely go back to them in the future.

Incredible service and even more incredible technicians. I was given a very reasonable quote regarding my transmission (which they did NOT exceed). They repaired everything and changed my oil all within two days, no issues. Now they are the ONLY garage my car goes to for regular maintenance as well as unexpected repairs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

6 years Ive been going to Dave and the crew, and they still surprise me with their laid back professionalism, integrity, willingness to help. They were able to do a rotor and brake job within a days notice when my brakes started squeaking. Oil change too. They have never overcharged me and have never tried to sell me a service I didnt need.

These guys are the absolute best! Everything youd ever hope for out of a gang of proper mechanics. Knowledgeable, thorough, open to suggestion, and most of all HONEST! Been visiting these dudes for a decade of years and have always had my expectations well exceeded. Dont bother with hardly anywhere else, or else!
