Have to say that Ive been going into northgate Ulta for years now for myself and a lady friend of mine. Everything was ok, decided to try their salon for a haircut. One of the stylists, Sam, cut my hair and I liked the cut. However, the first time I had to wait while he finished with a female client and when he was cutting my hair he was called away several times to help other female clients. This time I showed up 10 min. early was shuttled back to an empty wash chair. When my appt. was 20min. over I came and sat across from Sam and his female skank client who stated to me that she was high maintenance was sorry that she was running into my appt. time., it was just one big fun fest. Sam told me he would get to me when he was thru with his female high maintenance skank as my appt time . slipped into over a half hour. If I didnt mind waiting I would not have make an appt. I would have just waited in line at some less expensive place. Please, I guess if your a guy your appt. will not be honored by Sam at Ulta Northgate salon. I will not be going back and will try for a solon that honors an appt. especially for $36 dollars plus tip for a haircut!

Seriously the worst customer service at the cashier! The reason I choose to shop at ulta is because whenever I make a purchase they give me some samples to try out and the girl at the register flat out lied to me and said " they dont have any EXTRAS" to give us ??! What the hell!! I just spend $50 something dollars and you are telling me you dont have any "extras" to hand out followed by a confused look and so sorry we dont have any extras! NEVER shopping at this location again thanks to the girl who rang me up and lied her ass off

I had gel nails done which lasted 5 days.I had them done a second time and it only took 4 days to start peeling off.I made an appointment to have them redone.When I had waited 15 minutes after being told by the tech she was finishing with her client,I told her I would just leave since she had given me no idea how much longer I would have to wait and she showed no sign of finishing.She just said okay-no apology or any indication that she cared about me. My doctor doesnt keep me waiting that long without an update or an apology.

I used to go to Ulta all the time and always had a good experience, but at this location I walked in and immediately felt like I was being judged by a dude with blue hair. The foundation I was going to originally buy was already expired. I wanted to check out their purfume, but for some reason that area was blocked off. Generally the customer service seemed faked. I understand that probably most people in that line of retail dont really care, but Id rather not be talked to at all if its not genuine.

As a guy, it was a great shopping experience. Though they didnt have the best selection of products to choose from. They did have enough of what I was looking for and reasonable alternatives for items out of stock or missing. Sales floor reps were chill and helpful when approached, I never felt pressured to buy anything. They were honest and to the point. Perfect service for what I would like to see shopping at a place like this since I usually know what Im looking for going in.

Sam, EXPERT makeup artist, solved my "tired eyes" problems by recommending and demo-ing the perfect concealer for me. I left with a Stila product and the "know-how" to apply it!! Sam also proved her Ulta product knowledge when she pointed me to nail polish that I had difficulties locating. This Ulta store has a fantastic knowledgeable staff and ample product stock!

Visited the store yesterday with my daughter who was shopping for a few items. I walked in scraggly and unkempt and left a new woman, thanks to Melissa in the Salon. I didnt have an appointment, but she squeezed me in as a walk-in. She did a great job reshaping my hair into a long-ish bob with side bangs. I will definitely go back to see Melissa!

I have gone to this location 3 times. Not again! Everyone is always rude. I cant even ask a question without getting eyes rolled at me. Plus they never have what I want! I will drive the extra miles to Mason where I am treated with respect and have the things I need in stock.

Good selection of items/products at this location, but the customer service on the floor is usually lacking. I can spend a half hour in the store and never even get a greeting. The associates at the counter are always nice though, and Zoe is really helpful.

Tried calling to verify a product was in stock and nobody would pick up. Checked it online, website said it was there, and of course when I arrive it isnt. Could have saved a trip if theyd answer the phone. They was nice in person though.

As a man, it is VERY awkward to walk into this place alone. I needed gift cards for my Moms birthday and this was the place to get them. So... I got them. The line was a bit slow though. Minus a star for being at the mall.
