after a year of coming to this spa i will not be returning. i am irritated because i was charged full price $70 plus my membership fee which is around $34 for an appointment that i called to reschedule. however here is the thing their voice message machine must be broken because my message that i left was no where to be found. also when i called about 3 times during business hours on 2 different days BEFORE my appointment. no one answered my call. i have always showed up always tipped very nicely i have worked in the spa industry for 6 years myself. i know what its like when people don’t show for an appointment but working for myself i always return missed calls especially if i see the same number called me about 3 times and i didn’t answer to see if its the person that had the appointment trying to get through to me! so word of advice don’t even bother trying to get through on the phone they simply don’t answer. also i guess there were new front desk staff hired that totally didn’t know what was going on. i spoke with a woman who was new i had never seen her there before and she was completely snarky and rude to me explaining to me how she charged me because i no showed after i explained what happened. i don’t appreciate being talked to like I’m some kind of client wasting their time. i told her too look and see how i have been coming for the whole year with zero issues and she told me she would have the owner talk to me. the owner said i should book online but that defeats the purpose if i have to reschedule… (which btw came up to the front desk briefly. I’m sure she overheard what i was talking about but then left and went to the back i guess for an appointment.) I’m like really? if i saw a client was having issues i would stop for a moment to address the issue. so i cancelled my membership and i have nothing against the girl that does my waxing she is actually awesome. however i think that i was rubbed the wrong way with being flat out ignored then charged money for a service i never received. hopefully they get their front desk/scheduler situation fixed and stop ignoring paying clients because that is what is going to lose them business!

I loved the atmosphere of this spa and the attention to so many details - all the way down to the soothing aqua colors chosen for the walls and the decor. I walked in and even before my facial, I began feeling refreshed by just being in such beautiful and soothing surroundings. Melanie, who did my facial, greeted me at the front of the spa and was so kind. I felt that her warmth definitely added to my experience. My facial actually began with a nice hot relaxing foot soak in a beautiful copper basin. I was surprised because I had never received that extra touch of attention during any of the previous facials Ive had at other locations. Melanie was very knowledgeable and exact about the condition of my skin but still gave me such a relaxing facial that I never wanted it to be over. She gave me great advice for a home care treatment and offered a very natural line of products that I wouldnt mind putting on my skin. As a mom of 3, I am thrilled that I found such a special place to get away and truly relax and be treated so well. I am looking forward to coming back to try the fassage!

Receiving services from Sea Spa is an absolute joy. Being a member for roughly two years now, Ive been able to see the quality of staff, products and services over time and they keep getting better and better. Melanie is a complete doll as well as her staff. For the individual who gave a negative review, I have a rebuttal: One hiccup I failed to communicate was in regards to canceling my membership due to deployment and therefore kept receiving charges. I notified Sea Spa via email about this and they quickly corrected this issue within a day. I highly recommend this quaint spa to those who want to receive quality services.

A Sea Spa treatment is like a mini-vacation. I got a Fassage (facial/massage combo) that was so relaxing I was transported to another plane of consciousness. The spa is beautiful, the products are great and owner Melanie has the magic touch. Its an excellent value considering the quality, location, and amenities. Steilacoom is south Puget Sounds best-kept secret, a lovely village on the water with a gorgeous view visible from many of the rooms at Sea Spa. Its just 10 mins from I-5! Have a meal or a drink at the Topside next door before or after your treatment, and a few hours experience feels like a real getaway.

Ive been here for two services and have greatly enjoyed both. My first experience was a pedicure and it was extremely relaxing with comfortable massages chairs and a gorgeous view. My second experience was a 60 minute deep tissue massage. Fantastic. Im a nursing mom and have developed a number of tight spots in my neck, chest and mid back. Great attention was given to all these areas and the range of motion in my neck is noticeably better. The owner and employees obviously care about their clients and providing top notch service. I will definitely return.

Melanie the owner gives the best facials in the world! I wish I could live on her table. I received a gift certificate in November from my sister in law, but it took me (on my part) six months to use it. I have been going once a week now for a month. The experience is pure heaven. I come in so stressed and she literally puts me to sleep with the magic in her hands and my face is getting beautiful, more relaxed and younger. She is even lifting my heavy eyelids!

Customer service was great, salon was beautiful and clean. My stylist was very nice but she absolutely butchered my hair is wanted and ombre on my hair and all she did was Bleach it, it wasnt blended, it was brassy and the toner left some of my hair blue. My hair went from dark to 6 shades of blonde. I payed good money for the service too. I cried as soon as I got into my car.

Sea Spa is fabulous and I highly recommend any service. The Sea Spa Pedicure is the best pedicure I have ever received. The spa is clean and the staff is friendly. If you stop in on a sunny warm day make sure to request your pedicure outside in their outdoor garden area, it will make you feel like you are on vacation!

I am an athlete and had a lot of aches and pains and I went into Sea Spa. Abby was the absolute best masseuse that I have ever had. She came highly recommended from some friends in my running group and I must agree that she is the best!!
