Very poor customer service. They did a poor job of sewing several patches onto my military uniform. Two of the patches were not sewn on securely, and the third was turned sideways and not centered. I noticed the errors immediately when I picked the uniform up and brought it to their attention. I explained that I had an important event coming up and also explained that their error would likely cause me to be disciplined, as there is no room for mistakes with a military uniform. Their response was that there was nothing they could do to fix it for me then, Id have to bring the uniforms back after my event. No apology, no concern, no offer of a discount. When my event was over a few weeks later, I brought the uniforms back. Again, no apology. When I suggested a partial refund, or a discount on future services (even just 5 or 10%), I was told by the manager that I would have to complete a "customer concern form". Once my "form" was "turned in", it would be reviewed by the owners for their "decision". If I hadnt been so mad, it would have been laughable. Who operates a business this way? They make a mistake that cause me headaches and an extra trip, and I have to fill out a handwritten form for them to make it right? Oh, and this form is not available by email, only hard copy, so I get to spend more money and time mailing this form back, or driving there to drop it off. The owners of New Era would benefit from 1) Discarding their ridiculous "customer concern form" 2) Empowering their "manager" to immediately correct an error. The employees would benefit from learning how to say the simple things that go a long way, like: Im sorry; Thank You; We appreciate your business. Avoid this business and find another dry cleaner that undertands customer service.

1. After being told that the total cost for the alterations on my wedding gown would be $60.00 the price jumped to 136.00 when it was time to pay. 2. The gown had been hemmed several inches too short not the length we agreed on 3. The beading on the dress was destroyed when it was cut through on the wrong seem 4. Tne pattern on the dress was ruined as the seems did not match up 5. The seems had not been pressed once they were taken in 6. The seems caused the entire dress to bunch up 7. There were lipstick stains on the front of the gown which were not present at drop off. 8. Summary: $1000.00 gown destroyed less than a month before wedding with no apology or accountability from New Era Cleaners.

Sent in my coat to have a pocket repaired and have the coat cleaned. The fabric came back dull, the metal buckles were ruined and the the pocket was repaired with the seam on the inside! I had the coat cleaned once at another cleaner with no problems.Of course they are trying not to assume responsibility and are trying to call it wear and tear.

OK, the place is like I expected: I dropped in two blouses, picked them up on the appointed time later on, and they were well pressed and cleaned. The cost was a little high, so I think there are better values, but its a no-nonsense, vanilla type of transaction.
