I dont take my precious time to write reviews unless I have run into something truly exceptional! Precision Auto Body & Collision (PAB) has the most sincere & honest & trustworthy folks, from the owners Phil & Christina to a very wonderful to work with Ricki, to the great guys (some even sing at the top of their lungs) in the shop! My car had just been hit and I was coming from having talked to another shop that I will never go back to (was actually recommended by my insurance...ugh), found the great reviews out here for PAB, and thought Id give them a shot. BEST DECISION EVER! Not only did they reduce my stress immensely, they showed me the damages (things I never thought to look at), they walked me through the fixes and estimate, they assured me they would deal with the insurance, and they provided much appreciated levity and understanding of my mental state (very agitated to put it mildly). They made sure the parts used were OEM, and they had my car finished so fast I thought the call was to tell me about more issues found, not that they were done! Christina & Phil are fabulous to talk to, speaking in laymen terms thank you very much, and Ricki.... well she is an absolute doll! Not only is she sweet and kind but she is funny and considerate of your situation and feelings and she is very professional when helping you with scheduling and insurance questions. This is an amazing shop with amazing people!! There is no pressure when you go to them for an estimate, and you know from everything they do and say, that you are in expert hands. I highly highly recommend PAB and not that I want another fool to hit my car, but I know without a doubt exactly where Im going if it ever happens again!! I even recommended my friend from Renton Highlands to come to Tacoma if she ever has the need! ** Give them a try. I know you will love them, too. **

Integrity is the word that comes to mind when I think of this place. I had just started checking out repair centers, after a hit & run demolished my back bumper. This place happened to be on the Met-Life list, the only insurance company Precision Auto Body works directly with. That simplified the whole payment & car rental process, but that isnt why I chose them. My initial questions were answered very capably by Phils wife, via phone. No pressure, just the facts pertinent to what I might expect next as I navigated this whole repair process. I brought my car in and was further impressed by the knowledge and expertise both Phil and his wife demonstrated as they answered question after question I hadnt even asked yet. All with a personable sense of humor that is very reassuring. Phil showed me damages from the impact I hadnt even noticed, patiently explaining what next steps would be. I felt my car would be in really good hands here. And I certainly was not disappointed! I was kept in the loop about any delays. A part was mistakenly delivered to Precision Collision, a company with a similar name. Phil also sent back a rusty part he refused to use in my car, necessitating a re-order. Integrity, pure and simple. My Chevy Impala gleamed in the parking lot, so much so that the man who drove me there from the car rental place exclaimed, "Sweet ride!" when we drove up. Not only was the outside immaculate, the inside was tidy with vacuumed floor carpets, a clean dashboard and a sparkling windshield. I drove out of that place with a new affection for my car, and great thankfulness for all the help I had received. Precision Auto Body proved to be a Godsend for me, and everyone I know who has need of auto body services will hear my success story!

Today my check engine light came on. I called my dealership and they quoted me a crazy amount for a diagnostics test. I decided to call around and found Precision Auto Body & Collision on S. Tacoma Way. I spoke with a guy named Phil, who told me to bring the car in and they would perform the diagnostics test for much less than what the dealership had quoted me. When I went down to retrieve my car (my sister dropped it off for me) not only had Phil performed the test, but he had printed out the variables of issues the code brought up and he called shops that dealt with those issues to find out what my next move should be. He then explained each item to me and what it could entail and recommended a couple of places he had personally used that were trustworthy. It was after all this I discovered, THIS IS NOT WHAT THIS PLACE DOES AT ALL. Phil went more than above and beyond, he went out of his way to help me. I am amazed and astounded by the level of customer service provided by Precision Auto Body & Collision. They can perform many services beyond what the store name entails but they dont do actual engine work. . Thanks Phil. Youre truly awesome.

Lets just start with this place is amazing. I grew up in NY with a family of mechanics and have never really been without an honest family member to fix my cars. I moved to Washington recently because my husband is stationed here. I hadnt seen him in over a month and on the drive up here I ended up denting and scratching the back door of his brand new truck. I was so upset and on top of that for the first time ever I had no knowledge of who or where to go to get it fixed. After reading the reviews I chose PAB. From the moment my mother in law and I walked in the door we were treated like family. The owner and his wife Christina and the rest of the crew went above and beyond. They not only had the truck ready by the day my husband came home, but also gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was ready. They went out of their way again and got other marks off of the truck, cleaned and vacuumed it free if charge. I am truly thankful there are still honest hardworking people out there like these guys! I found my new local shop.

BUCKET LIST #3 *Paint 1998 Honda Civic* September 2014 PAB/ Precision Auto Body SUPERIOR "WORKMANSHIP" & SERVICE HIGHLY RECOMMEND The new paint is beautiful, above and beyond our expectations. We first found Phil and Christina (owners) last summer when we chose their company to fix our truck that got rear-ended. You cant tell that the knuckle head that hit us totalled the rear bumper, bent the bed of the truck, messed up the right rear side, etc, etc, etc. They matched the paint perfectly. We want our comments to let others know that Phil and Christina run a quality business. Their work is excellent and the prices are more than fair. Go there, you wont regret it.
