I really dislike having to write a negative review, however I feel that parents need to be aware of my sons past experience there at kids space. I would like to first say, the two ladies that manage it are completely amazing. They are the reason why I chose to enter my son into the part time pre school program. It was summertime and they had outdoor water days once a week. My son came home from one of the water play days and informed me that he had to COMPLETELY undress in front of all of his fellow classmates (boys and girls) together. And all the other children had to as well. The teachers did not let my son go into the restroom and change into his swimsuit privately. The next day, I went in and spoke with the staff there and they admitted to having all the children change in one room. I think thats totally utterly wrong! No child should have to be forced to take off their clothes to change into a swimsuit in front of the adult staff or other children! And in order for my son to participate in the water day, that is what he was told he had to do. I am just warning parents out there to watch out and talk to your kids about what is going on at school. I hope this review helps :-) I encourage the owners to look into whats really going on there, and rethink their policies. I immediately took my son out of kids space following this incident.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff, in every age group they have selected loving, educated, and overall wonderful people to work for them; and care for our children. Weve have two children go to kidspace and have experienced all the ciriculums they offer for each age group. Each one is appropriate and presented with such care. My sons come home and cant wait to tell me what they learned; and Im excited to hear about how it was presented to them (so creative, most the time they dont realize they are learning, they think it is just play time). We have previously used 4 other day care facilities in Vancouver, and non of them hold a light to Kidspace. They have now been our daycare center of choice for 5 years; and I would/will refer anyone to them.

What a wonderful place to watch my children thrive! We adore Ms. Ginger and Ms. Julie and everyone that works with them. Kathy and Sharon (the owners) have tremendous experience. They are still passionate about preschoolers, which is refreshing, since it seems so many people in the field burn out. They practice methods from reggio emilia, which is a very well balanced and kid-centered philosophy. The space is fantastic! It is the best gym I have ever seen in a preschool. I firmly believe my children are getting the highest quality education they can get in preschool, in Vancouver, and I can afford it (wow). My children come home excited about school and learning, and gently challenged in academic, social, physical, and emotional skills.

Besides the great facility, which is void of televisions and automated gadgets and full of equipment and toys that spark imagination and physical activity, I have been very impressed with the staff at KIDSPACE. All of my kids’ teachers have seemed to intuitively understand that my husband and I are our children’s first and most important teachers and seek to support us in that role, rather than replace us. To that end, academics have been a wonderful part of both the preschool and summer care programs, but not the only part. I consider my children’s education to be my responsibility, so I appreciate KIDSPACE giving my kids the opportunity to learn vital social and occupational skills through “the work of childhood” (play).

If I could give more then five stars, I 100% would! My daughter attended Kidspace for, four years and loved each and every minute she was there! Their curriculum is by far some of the best Ive ever witnessed and their staff goes above and beyond to make it that way. I have loved every teacher shes had! They become like family and that makes you very comfortable knowing who your child is being cared by every day. The only reason she stopped going is because she started kindergarten and I became a stay at home mom so child care was no longer needed. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a fabulous, friendly, safe, clean, educational daycare/school. :)

A little over three years ago when we first walked through the doors of KIDSPACE, we knew wed found our fit. Weve watched our son grow so much through his Chickadee, Bluebird, and Robin years. KIDSPACE became home. And the amenities arent just limited to the high ceilings, fantastic gym, whimsical playground, and classrooms packed full of the best math, science, sensory, music, building blocks, table toy/manipulatives, libraries, and art centers. No, what makes a house a home is love. The teachers and staff have loved us all like family and we feel the same way. We couldnt have chosen a better place to lay the foundation for our sons education.

We cant say enough wonderful things about KidSpace. Our daughter started out in their summer program last year and then was a Chickadee last year and now a Robin. We love all of the teachers and the owners are wonderful. My daughter doesnt want to leave most days! She learns so much and teaches me new things too. We toured so many daycares before putting her at Kidspace. As soon as we walked in we felt very comfortable and knew we had found the place for us.

This is the first year that I have had to put my daughter in a before and after school program. It has been about a month now and I am very pleased. Staff is very friendly and understanding. The center is set up perfectly and every time I pick my daughter up, she is very happy. I highly recommend this center!

We moved to the area over a year ago and we have prevented from moving too far from this facility so that my child can continue to go here. They are wonderful people and genuinely care about your child. She will continue to attend here for as long as possible.

We were considering moving our son from one of the large expensive chains that made lots of promises, but didnt really back them up... When we found Kidspace... They by far were the best day care / preschool in Vancouver. Our son loves it and so do we.

This is by far the best preschool I could imagine. The educators teach through play so the kids dont really know theyre learning, but the learn and grow so much! The staff is wonderful to work with and are great with the kids!
