Our recent relocation from Camas WA to Corvallis OR with Lile Moving and Storage was a disastrous experience with many items badly damaged (including expensive antiques), several items lost (including TVs and all electronic remotes), plasma TV shattered, table hardware missing, etc. Lile so far offered a minimal settlement which we have rejected. Now filing a claim against Lile with our credit card company and may take legal action as well. Have moved professionally 7 times in last 40 years--this was the only time there was any damage and a claim. By far the worst moving experience. Liles people delivering our goods from 11 months in storage were unprofessional, unprepared, and not cooperative. Lile has taken the position since we did not fully insure all goods at full value before the move (at significant additional cost) their liability is limited to $0.60/# with denying responsibility for items lost! The damage and losses were due to mismagement and incompetence--which Lile is not accepting responsibility for. I strongly recommend staying away from Lile--search for other more reputable movers. February 12-2015 update: It is now nearly five months after our relocation and Lile has failed to settle the claim and are ingnoring us. While our damages exceeded $4000, we have received nothing! A region manager was sent to our home in November and the CEO called me shortly thereafter and assured me Lile wants to settle the claim and will do so soon, since then there has been no action. I have sent emails to the region manager who also explained to me he understood my disappointment and he could not explain to me why his company would not follow through. Lile is a completely dishonest organization and should be avoided at all cost. I will do all I can to insure business associates and others I know will hear my concerns. Now it appears the only way to collect from this company is to sue. What a pity such a company provides such poor service and then denies/ignors customer claims and concerns.

The experience with Lile was extremely stressful, they underestimated my move and sent a truck that was about half the size of what we needed causing us two trips for a local move. Their resolution was to credit me 30 minutes although this caused about 2+ hours of additional time. I will say the moving crew was excellent, the person who had to take the brunt of my anger did a great job with the situation. The management and sales part of the organization are the biggest issues. My move cost me close to double my estimate. I would have used another move who gave me an accurate quote and would have sent a properly sized truck whom I used before. I didnt purchase the insurance and had broken items that I did not report because I didnt want to deal with the company anymore. On a positive note, they showed up somewhat on time on New Years Eve to do this move and stayed late to get it completed. The entire situation could have been fixed by honoring the original estimate or crediting a fair amount. Dont deal with this company unless you have no other option.

We were repeat customers with Lile Moving. We purchased the insurance against damage to our belongings. The wine refrigerator was damaged resulting in the door detaching, damage to the handle, and power cord. This was on 7/8/2015. I am posting this on 3/15/2016. There was damage to some furniture as well. We were told that we would be contacted by Lile, but this did not happen. I contacted them, filed their claim form, sent photos, and 35 emails later, and more than 8 months later nothing has been resolved. The wrong replacement door was sent in early October 2015. I have taken multiple photographs of the correct and incorrect door. I have been given multiple dates that delivery was to take place. I have paid extra for the insurance coverage, and more than 8 months later have no solution. The CEO of Lile has offered us a bottle of wine. I replied that a bottle of wine is no solution to the issue.

I met with David Jasmer at Lile to discuss possible business with Lile Moving. I found David to be extremely personable, very detail oriented, and knowledgable. He is definitely an asset to this company. I will definitely be referring associates to him, because I trust that he will show them the same professionalism that I experienced.
