Ive been visiting Oasis ever since it was called "The Sun Spa." My introduction to this wonderful place came back in 2004 or so, when I used to work in Woodinville. Currently I am living abroad, so Ive had to take a break from the spa, but even when I was living and working in Seattle, I would make the 30-minute drive out to Oasis because of its excellent value for the money and its consistently good services. I adore their hot stone massages, along with their "Lavender Dreams Ultimate Experience" (so incredibly calming)! I enjoyed a great pedicure there as well. Ive had relaxing facials here (namely, the Essential Deep Cleansing European Facial), along with their aromatherapeutic baths and wraps. Even though I couldnt afford to come here more than 1-2 times each year, I always felt very welcomed by the staff and under very little pressure to purchase the products that they suggest for me. (No one likes to have a relaxing experience end with high-pressure sales of overpriced skincare products!) Making appointments with them and paying for my services always went smoothly. I enjoyed the hot tea and aromatherapeutic neck wraps that follow spa services, along with the serene relaxation area. The treatment rooms always feel private as well. Occasionally Oasis Spa & Salon offers Groupon-type deals and I would snatch those up whenever possible to mitigate the expense of indulging myself. Nevertheless, though, their prices are much, much more reasonable than a comparable spa, like Habitude in Ballard. My five-star review may make one assume that I think this place is perfect, but I do have a couple of minor complaints: I was sad to see their unique, calming "Sami Zen" treatment disappear off of their spa menu a few years ago. I dislike that they are located right above a pool in a gym where the sounds of yelling children echo into their waiting areas. I thought it was silly that due to the placement of their pedicure chairs in their nail services area, the sun was in my face, blinding me, while I had my toenails done -- and the nail technicians only fix for this was to put a small plant in a place that made some shade. I also feel like their spa packages are a bit limited, and I wish that they offered a "build-your-own" option. Regardless of the faults I find with Oasis, I still LOVE this spa and will continue as a loyal customer if/when I move back to Seattle. Check this place out -- its worth the drive from Seattle!

I contracted an eye infection after having eyelash extensions put on and the salon wouldnt do anything about it. During the process, I had indicated to the gal doing the extensions that my eyes were burning a bit and she assured me that they use high quality products and glue. I only wear one contact (mono vision) and had told the gal about this (we even had a conversation about getting used to only wearing one contact lens). Whenever I would say that they were burning, she would take a small fan and blow my eyes with it - Im not sure if it was to help ease my pain or to dry the glue. When I left both eyes were really red, and the receptionists commented that the redness from the glue would be gone in the morning. However, what I experienced was far from gone; I went to urgent care two days later and was diagnosed with Conjunctivitis from being exposed to liquid chemicals or fumes - my condition did not appear to be due to an eye infection as per the paperwork that I took home from the doctors visit. I contacted the Salon and really had a difficult time in getting the manager to call me back. Once we talked, she said that there was nothing that she could do because there was no way that I could prove that my conjunctivitis was caused by them and that no one else had ever complained about this. I just find it very interesting that my eyes were fine on Friday before I went in, and after the eyelash extensions my eyes were very red and swollen. Now I am not only out the approximately $200 that I spent for these, I am also out for the cost for a visit to urgent care, a prescription for eyedrops and one lost day of work. My eyes continue to be itchy and I am waiting for the eyelashes to fall out - I dont want to risk having my eyes irritated again by having them removed. Would I recommend Oasis Spa and Salon .... NO WAY. No customer service and they dont care what happens to their customers and wont do anything to help you out!

Went in for a bleach and tone and haircut. It took two hours for my stylist to fully apply bleach with foils, which left my hair chemically cut. I asked for two inches off and she cut 5 without communicating that she had cut more than requested until the end, she had cut more to hide the chemical cut. When she did communicate that she cut more she said "I cut five inches but you cant even tell." Then proceeded to change the subject. I had also gone in to get a light purple root dyed brown that would melt into a blonde (all except roots were already blonde.) The purple turned orange and my stylist proceeded to tell me it was "just apart of the process" and still charged me $210 even through my stylist was 100% confident in the style and color we both chose. She added brown lowlights that did not complement the blonde, cut off 5 inches vs the requested 2, turned my roots orange, and fried my hair. My stylist initially agreed to fix the orange for free but when I went in a second time she charged me $40 for the product. (Understandable, BUT I was paying for her mistake. So in this situation not understandable.) I emailed the salon and they refunded me. I was pleased with the $40 refund. However, I am now realizing just how badly my hair is damnaged. Ive had long healthy hair for my whole life and the first appointment completely damaged my hair. In addiction to the cost of the first appointment($210) I have spent over $200 in hair products to try and restore it to the condition it was in previous to the first appointment but it just isnt the same, my hair continues to shorten because of overly processed ends every day. Further more, I am so disappointed that my stylist was not transparent about the condition of my hair after she had processed and cut it. I will not be returning to this salon.

I never leave reviews and this is my first but the host, Sally was not only unprofessional but making assumptions that were ignorant and disrespectful! I took my mom there for the Moroccanoil Scalp Massage. Since it was for my mom, I had my almost 2-year old son with me. After filling out the info sheet, the host led us to the lounge area and said that we could wait in there as my mom finishes her massage. My son didnt make much noise but the host was already sh-ing him. I thought it was strange but oh well. After my mom was done, she came out her massage with her hair turned upside down. She said the massage therapist didnt say anything to her except that she was done. The host came back in and said that we were done and to keep my son quiet. I asked her if there were directions for her hair and she said theres nothing. Curious, I asked her why the therapist didnt say anything to my mom and she said it was probably because she didnt look like she spoke English! Thats when everything turned sour! What? My mom can speak English fine and they just assumed that she couldnt? She said that she was assuming that the therapist thought that since I was with my mom and thought I was her interpreter. What?! How can you just assume like that. Also, later she told me that children werent allowed in the waiting area. There was no sign to tell me that nor did she inform me of this detail. She kept motioning for him to be quiet. She told me then that people with children usually were asked to stay in another area. Well, I would have gladly stayed there but she didnt tell me either! What kind of service is this? Setting us up to fail? Sally needs proper training and etiquette. I was enraged at the poor service! Never coming back here again!!!
