Last week while driving my car, I realize that something was wrong it and when I drove it and drove over a small crack on the road its kept on making loud bumping sound and the Shock was off, So i decided to take it in to Mark and yet he did a FABULOUS job on it. First, He give me an estimates of how much it would cost me to get that fix with rounded up to be $207 which it is affordable for a college student like me. If I was to take it to other shop they would had charged me more. He saw that my car also have a mess up front bumper and offered to fix it for only $400. which is not a bad price compare to other shop. Mark is a good heart person and had a lot of passion doing his job. I also remembered last week when i took my car in and the shop was closing in about an hour and a half and he told me that he can get it fix by the next day in the morning, so then i dropped off my car and walk home " he even offered me a ride home too, but i respectively decline because only live a few block away so i walked instead" but yet about hour later...He called me and said that my car is fix. This is a great man with a great heart who putted his customer needs in first and is passionate doing what he do. If anybody i recommend Mark if you every needed your car fix. Thanks Mark!!! You did a awesome job. You definitely will have my business if i ever need help with car. - Lee

I stumbled upon this shop a few weeks back and decided to give them a shot after reading some of the positive reviews. Since going there, I am so glad that I gave this place a chance. I have brought both of my vehicles to Discount Auto Repair to have some work done, and both experiences were excellent. On my second visit, I had some work done on my rear brakes, and a day after having the repairs completed, there was another issue that occurred with the brakes. Although the problem was somewhat unrelated to the original repair and occurred by no fault of the shop, they quickly took care of the problem free of charge and had my car ready to go shorty after I dropped it off. All of the reviews posted here are true. Mark, the owner, but also Andrew, who has done great work on both of my vehicles, are both friendly, honest people who make sure you know what went wrong with your vehicle and who walk you through exactly what they did to fix it. The quick and friendly service, paired with the fact that the parts and labor prices are extremely affordable, makes this one of the best shops that I have been to. I will definitely be back next time that I need some service work done.

Mark is honest, fair and will be my go to guy for all of my automotive needs! I had an estimate for front brakes, bushings and an alignment at another repair shop. I got lucky and one of my exs friends was able to do my brakes but didnt have the equipment for the alignment and bushings, so I decided to check around for comparative pricing, I called Mark....It was a lesson in automotive dos and donts. The donts, never again trust another repair shop! The dos, always take my car to someone I trust, Mark! Number 1, he was able to cut my estimate for my brakes almost in half, yay! Number 2...a biggie, I didnt even need bushings or an alignment. What I did need where two stabilizer links. I mean, WHAT?? This other place tells me I need something I dont even need and dont see something that I really DO need, UGH!!! Thankfully, we have people like Mark! Thanks so much Mark! Between you and the friend who did my brakes, I saved just shy of $300...thats a lot of money for this girl!

I had already made an appointment elsewhere to have the Tie Rods and Upper Control Arms done on my Audi when I stumbled across this place. Reading the reviews, Mark seemed like a stand up guy, so I gave him a call... He refused to work on my car, or hardly even have a phone conversation with me as soon as I mentioned my own parts. I already have my own Heavy Duty top of the line parts, so I do not want to wait for the low-grade parts the shop would order... Being a reputable "work with the customer" style shop, they should want what is best for your car, rather than a larger profit margin by making you order through them. These parts are prone to fail on my specific vehicle, so I made sure to buy the best rated ones I could find, and now have to go elsewhere and get charged more, because Mark could not understand that concept, and just wanted more money. I would never go there again and would happily pay more to be treated right, even for the simplest of tasks.

Best auto repair around!!!! Mark has done work for me on all 3 of my vehicles and has always given me timely, top quality work at a fabulous price! He has always talked with me about what needed to be done and called if he found any unexpected work that needed to be done so that I could have a choice! Hes not one of these shops out here that just want your money. He genuinely wants to give you the best and does! Today I picked up my car that needed a new seat adjuster and Mark had my bill out and ready (which was way under what he quoted me at) and said to me while touching his counter, this is yours too....its the money I found under your seat. And thats not it... it was cold out and Mark had my car started and warmed up for me! Are you kidding??? Who does that??? Mark does, and as long as he and his mechanics are working I will continue to rely on him for all my service needs! Mark you are awesome! Thanks for everything.

Coming from a girl who has a dad that can fix just about anything in her car for the cost of the parts, I would definitely recommend Discount Auto Repair. I go to school in Oshkosh and am too far from home for my dad to make any repairs. So where does a girl go? TO the place that has 21 reviews, and an overall five-star rating on Google. My starter was fixed within 3 hours, and from my bill I see that the labor was only charged for 2. I also got a tow for $55 through these guys, which is half the price of what I have paid elsewhere in the past. I even tried to tip the owner when I picked up my car...but he wouldnt take it! He just told me to write a review on the service I received, which is exactly what Im doing. I could not have been more satisfied with my experience through discount auto and would recommend it to anyone in need of car repair. Thanks guys!

My check engine light went on and the motor was growling at me while accelerating. I took the car to them and got in right away. As they were looking at the car, they came in at each point to inform me what was found and what it was going to take to fix or replace it. When all was said and done, they fixed the car, gave me an oil change and topped off all fluids and checked for leaks all for less than $100.00. This service would have at least cost $200-$300 anywhere else. This is a new business (open since early April, 2010) and they are trying to build a reputation for being honest and inexpensive. They have succeeded on every level in my book. This is not going to be the most modern-looking shop you can take your car to, but if you want quick, honest work at a better than honest price, you cant beat Discount Auto Repair.
