I am writing this review in the hopes of being helpful. I was recommended to this agency by a friend. I kept saying that the people who I hired for a once of year cleaning, excluded most things like the ceiling fan, the soap dishes, the windows, dishes, etc.. People told me this was normal. At that point, I decided not to use a cleaning service because why would I pay for cleaning I could do myself? Right?? Anyway, after my friend recommended PHC I was very excited. I had the cleaning done and the person who did the cleaning was very thorough. The main purpose of my hiring a cleaning person is the bathroom and the kitchen. I NEED my bathrooms deep cleaned. The person DID NOT CLEAN the soap dishes, did not sweep the corners, and did not wipe out much of the showers. Now, dont get me wrong, the home was cleaned, but in my view a bathroom is not cleaned if soap dishes are not cleaned and the floors are not properly swept and mopped really well. I also found it odd that garbage bags were placed in dirty trashcans. Does it take much more effort to wipe out a trash can? Now, PHC only charges $85.00 so I have no right to complain so I didnt and will not. I just want to know if someone can explain to me why cleaning services do not deep clean the bathrooms (the main rooms people want deep cleaned?). Also, is cleaning out the microwave not part of cleaning the kitchen? Other than the above, the cleaning was excellent and I plan to use the service again. Hopefully, the company will be more clear in the future what a cleaning DOES NOT include.

We paid for the 6 hour "Maid for a Day". To our surprise, very little was done. None of the items we requested were accomplished. The molding, baseboards, and window sills were not even touched. You could visually see where she performed ONE swipe with a rag down the blinds leaving the rest untouched. The tile floors were dirty. The kitchen counted was untouched. The only thing we can see that was done was the dusting of the LR furniture and the beds were made. There was NO POSSIBLE way she was there for six hours. I would surmise an hour, tops. Especially ironic considering the carpets were steam cleaned the day prior so no vacuuming was required. Nor, was the bedding change needed. We thoroughly cleaned the house the next weekend (including the baseboards, windows, etc.) and it turned out FAR better and only took 2 1/2 hours. After cleaning, I can positivley say no cleaning was performed. I sent the owner an email explaining the results and we NEVER heard anything back from him. Very disappointing to say the least. I expect isolated "Bad Service" to occur in the world we live in but to take my $165.00, not perform the service, and fail to respond to my inquiry is inexcusable.

We have been using Personal Home Care Maids for four years this month. We have always been extremely satisfied with the service they provide. I would confidently recommend their service to anyone. As a matter of fact I have recommended them to many people who have also been very pleased, including my husbands parents and several of our neighbors. PHC Maids is always very flexible and accommodating and wonderful to work with. I have the same person each week, which I really appreciate. I have used the larger chain services in the past, but found you just dont get the same level of personal service. Everyone looks forward to Fridays, but I have an additional reason to, a CLEAN house when I walk in the door, that always makes me smile.

I am the owner of Personal Home Care Maids. The "Terrible" review below is an attempt by one of my competitors to sabotage our business. We have been in business for 14 years and would never have been able to do that by providing bad service. Please do not be misled by this negative attempt by my competitor. I ask you to please give our service a try and make up your own mind. Thanks.
