Found a rental property in Apache Junction through Pedersen Property Management. The home was not even close to being ready to live in. Already went through the paperwork, and put down the deposit. A date was set. When they told me to come and make sure the house was good enough to live in, I then discovered the walls were covered in black, the carpet was covered in burn marks, mold along the bottom of the wall. After telling the Rental guy, Will, he then told me to wait a couple of days and they would have it cleaned. After 5 days, we went back to see it, the carpet were still covered in burn marks, and the walls were just painted over. The closets were still disgusting, and covered in what i presume was soot, and the black was still along the bottom of the wall, to what i presume was mold. He has again told me a couple more days. At this point I have given up on this home. And do not want to live in a house where the previous tenants smoked in every room, and did other things in the house I dont want to even think of. Will, the property renter, has yet to respond to me. But I am not sure what to do, seeing as how I already gave notice to my current home owners, and I am expected to be moved out on the 10th of this month. I cant believe they thought this house was even close to inhabitable. Or why I would not notice any of the terrible things in the house hold. Not a good agency so far. Very VERY unsatisfied.

They had an available unit that would have been perfect for our family. We went and toured it, filled out the application and paid the application fee. I was told we would pay pro rated rent, the security deposit, and the pet deposit. Fine, sounded great. Come today when I asked about our app they said they received it and went over it and we were approved but that they now wanted 1 1/2 times deposit, the rent amount and the pet deposit. Basically they wanted to make an extra $325 off of us that was not discussed before I paid the application fee or mentioned. Horrible way to run a business. You dont discuss a price with someone, have them pay you $75 in app fees and then when the tenant was approved, raise the price of the deposit to make extra money. I do NOT recommend this company and had I been told it wouldve been 1 1/2 the deposit I wouldnt have even applied for the home because that is way too much than other homes in the area charge. Money hungry company, and Im obviously not the first to have a problem with them from the reviews recently.

Pedersen Property Management: My Husband and I have owned rental property in the area for a number of years. Since we have been using Morten Pedersen at Pedersen Property Management, we have never been so satisfied! He is professional, quick to respond to any situation or question, and is a great guy to deal with. He always keep the houses rented with the most qualified renters, who keep our houses in immaculate condition and pay their rents on time. He has a great rapport in the community and has highly qualified and efficient maintenance and landscapers on hand for any task. He and his office staff are always available to answer any questions and provide us with accurate, intelligent, and comprehensive reporting of our rental income and statements of what our expenses are. All in all, a great company to use for Property Management!!!

Warning! Do not rent here the apartment my fiance rented was dirtier when he moved in than it was when he left. The closet doors were always coming off the blinds were to small and sun damaged and they would not replace them. The floor was falling in and the ac leaked in the hallway and when It wasnt working properly nothing was fixed and they billed him for it. They claim everything they can to make sure you dont get a deposit back the walls were not painted when he moved in yet they charged him to pain them when he moved out. They use your money to repair their places. STAY AWAY!!

Me and my husband paid for our application and were told we would know something on Friday. Never herd anything, then told we would know something on Monday, nothing heard. Then nearly a month later was contacted and told they went with another application. Good luck with yall. Im loving my luxury apartment, nice pool, 2 gyms, library and great community. Im so glad I didnt wait for that response from will. He was nice but poor business. Run away.

Morten and Susan are wonderful to deal with and were a great help in looking for our Mesa, AZ home. I have no doubt that they are both very capable of finding any home in the Phoenix East Valley or anywhere in Arizona!
