Took my mom there to get a nail fill today and she had the worst experience. They advertise that their business is very clean and yet the man who did my moms nails continually wiped his nose and his station was dirty and messy. He ordered my mom to sit down at his station after she had been waiting several minutes and then proceeded to take her hand and waive it around saying what a mess her nails were and that she needed a whole new set because they were so old (which they were not on both accounts). After telling him that she did not want a new set, just a fill, he proceeded to hem and haw over it before telling her that it would be an extra $3 because she had a nail missing. She told him that she had brought the nail with her and that it just needed to be glued back on. He said no and that it had to be replaced. She said fine since it needed to be repaired. He was rude and abrupt with her the whole time. At one point during the manicure, he cut one of her cuticles and didnt even so much as apologize or attempt to fix it. When I went in to pay, the people there were all crowded around each other not paying any attention at all. Needless to say, I did not tip and will never go there again. There are so many other nail salons in the area that there is no need to go to one with horrible service and an unclean environment.

Never have I taken time out of my day to write a review but I just had to forewarn everybody who considers going to OBI. I came in because my boyfriend bought me a mani pedi there for christmas. Upon walking in the owner asked me what I needed and I told her mani pedi. She had me sit down in the already crowded spa before even asking me what I wanted done so I already felt rushed. She began giving me a full set but didntt even use nail polish remover first of all and just DRILLED off all the polish on my nails which was painful. no cuticle pushing, no nail trimming, just immediately began gluing the tips on. she then put the acrylic on and had me sent to get my pedicure in another seat without finishing my nails which was fine however I didnt even get a second to pickk out my nailpolish. I was totally rushed and was felt like my service was an inconvenience. The whole time I was trying to create conversation and she just ignored me. My pedicure was great and came out great, however the woman who did my nails was awfully rough and used the drill thing on my skin. I actually left with my cuticles literally BLEEDING. This place is awful.

On a Friday afternoon, my girlfriend and I wanted to get dolled up for the holiday weekend, when we arrived into the store the women(owner) was shouting across the room asking us what we wanted done, she told us the wait would be 10 minutes for friend to get a pedi/mani/wax and 10 for me to get a mani, but it ended up being 20-30 just to get friend seated. When my girlfriend was seated her nail tech. acted as if he didnt know how to file a straight nail and she had to repeatedly tell him until he got it straight and when she finally got her wax the woman who performed the wax had only worked there for a day and took an hour and a half to wax a full leg and left many part of hair unwaxed, she was suppossed to get a mani but because the woman took so long to wax she didnt get the mani even though she paid for it! When I was seated for my manicure the woman who did my nails (owner) was very rough when trimming my cuticle, clipped my naturally long nails shorter than I wanted and did a sloppy job applying the paint! My advice to you dont come here and I know I will never again! Too packed and they do a crappy job!

I went in for a simple gel manicure. i left with ruined nails!!. I asked for specific colors and the older vietnamese man was arguing, tells me what i want is the color hes offering even though im tell him its not. This guy (who no one should ever go to) then decided to use an electric file to take the old gel polish off my nails. Told him, no ones done that before but he insisted it was fine. He practically file my nails off. i didnt realised how bad it was until 2days later when i noticed the gel nail polish peeling off. then i noticed my nails cracking. Touching the tips of my nails feels like a thin paper. With each day that passed, I noticed more and more nails tip cracking and tearing off in such painful bleeding way. If you must go.. DO NOT LET THE OLDER Vietnamese MAN DO your nails. I am so angry that my nails are ruined.!!!! To top it off, i noticed the tools he used werent sterilized you could easily get a nail infection. I wish i had read other reviews regarding this man prior to going. If you REALLY MUST go, I just wont go period. Im just to upset right now. It seems like

My sister and I decided we just wanted to get manicures before going out one night. We didnt have appointments, and were okay with waiting. We waited about 20 minutes and a man came over and started on my sister. About 10 minutes later a woman came and started on me. The whole time she was doing my nails she was yelling across the store to someone, and acting concerned that she needed to get over and start on someones pedicure. It took her a total of 10 minutes to give me a manicure. I had also asked her to not clip my cuticles unless there was some skin hanging. She didnt seem to understand that, and clipped them a little bit, with dull cutters. She did a terrible job with the nail color and didnt do any clean up. I understand that these salons probably make most of their money on pedicures, but dont treat customers poorly just because they are not getting one. I will not go here again, and I will not recommend that my friends to there. Im sure there are a lot of people who have had good service there, but I wanted to share my bad experience.

Its not very often I go get my nails done as I am ruff on my hands and it never lasts very long. My sister talked me into going with her Sunday. She had a coupon to this place so we thought we would try it. The past few times I have tried the new gel shellac and it has lasted much better than regular polish. Im not sure what they did differently here than the other places I have been to but the polish peeled off in large sheets the day after. Which exposed REALLY roughed up nails. I didnt notice when she buffed them but I guess she used a bigger grit or something because I have never seen my nails look this scratched and bad looking. The polish was sloppy to begin with and the flowers that she painted on looked like a little kid had done them. I am usually so impressed with the artistry they can do on nails. But this time I was very disappointed.
