I have been a customer of ATAC for almost 5 years now. My experience with ATAC has been consistently positive. From oil changes to major suspension and exhaust work, they are professional, quick and honest. There are probably 4 or 5 different shops between my house and ATAC but I will always drive the little bit further it takes to have them do the work. Having a mechanic you trust is invaluable, I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else. I recently had ATAC do custom exhaust work on my truck (headers, cats, x-pipe, mufflers and tips) and am very impressed with the quality of their workmanship. The welds are all very smooth and clean, the pipe is routed clear of the drive shaft and suspension. You can see their attention to detail and quality in the welds and pipe bends, it all looks so clean it could be stock. Anyway, I have also had them replace my AC compressor, fix a couple AC leaks, replace major suspension components, fix miss fires, remove a propane fuel system (installed aftermarket before the truck was mine), as well as regular maintenance items. This is all on a F-150. Theyve also replaced a fuel pump regulator and a turbo pressure valve as well as regular maintenance on my VW Jetta. I would have no hesitation recommending ATAC to anyone, they do everything they can to take care of their customers.

A-tac has great customer service but in my opinion their technicians dont know what they are doing and the parts they use are garbage. I bought my car in Mesa and drove it home to Idaho after having A-Tac inspect it and do extensive brake work on it. I had to leave a day late because they didnt fix the brake problem it was taken in for originally and the battery was toast. After replacing additional components to the brake system I headed for Idaho. 600 miles into a 1,000 mile trip I was in the middle of nowhere and my brakes started locking up (same reason it was taken to A-tac in the first place). I got home two days late on brakes that I had to jimmy rig on the side of the freeway. I got back and A-tac payed my mechanic to fix it right. Then a month later brake caliper they replaced failed and drained most of my brake fluid on the road while I was driving. So A-tac is paying for my mechanic to replace that part too. Im glad they are paying for their mistakes, although they should have also paid for the part they didnt need to replace and it cost me a lot of problems missing work at a new job where I had no vacation or sick leave.

Excellent experience today. ATAC helped me with a flat tire, which occurred down the street from them. Drove me out to my disabled car, took the wheel off, brought it back to the shop and filled it with air. Turned out the tire was intact, just must have hit something at the wrong angle that caused the tire to deflate. Charged me nothing for their time. Ive only heard good things about ATAC, my colleague goes there for his car and truck maintenance.

I went to ATAC on a recommendation from one of their customers. I found Wayne to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Their diagnosis was on the money and confirmed a dealer check-up. My repair was completed when they said it would be and for slightly less than their estimate. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Ive taken a few different cars here over the years and have always received honest quality service that doesnt break the bank. If your in the east valley and are not taking your car to the dealership, I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for any type of service, other than tires--they dont do that.

So, I was in there last week and am now having to return. I took my car in for a stuck shifter, 800 dollars later and a new brake job, tensioner, belt, shifter, and shifter handle. I am retuning because now my belt is stinking and whirring which clicked on my battery light. Thanks so much!

Live super close to ATAC, so when I first needed service I went to them. Over the last 5 years Ive found them to be nothing but honest, down to earth, helpful people. I only go here now. Even if I lived 10 miles away, Id still make the drive/tow to ensure my truck is in their hands.

My wife brought in her Altima for an oil leak...they could easily have taken advantage of her but instead told her the drain plug just needed to be cleaned and tightened. They had her in and out in under a 1/2 hour at no charge!!!! We will definitely use them in the future!!!!!!

Ive been impressed that they dont do any more than is needed, and they fix it right the first time. Theyve had plenty of chances to recommend new tires or brakes that werent needed, and they havent recommended anything unless its really necessary. Great to work with!
