Warning do not let their social media fool you theyre all smoke and mirrors this was the worst salon experience Ive have ever had I found this salon off of Instagram the pictures they had on there of the hair that they did looked amazing but I found out that they just use special lighting when they take the pictures so the hair that they do there dont really look like that my experience at the salon was so horrible I went in and showed the stylist a picture of the type of hair that I wanted she said no problem I can get that on the first try she was so rough tugging and pulling my hair it was so horrible at one point I had three different stylist doing my hair at the same time they were all tugging and pulling on my hair aggressively also theyre all very on professional they talk Bad about their clients complaining on their clients making fun of their clients at one point all three had gone in the back and were whispering and laughing about another client I have never seen such on professionalism they also have a hard time understanding what you want I had explained that I wanted byalage and a ombre What I got was a full head of baby lights my hair also looked nothing like the picture that I showed her their byalage technique is awful typically a byalage means hand-painted well thats not what they do there they just slap your hair and some foils also the whole process was very rushed very uncomfortable very stressful by the time we were done I just couldnt wait to get out of there also my hair is burnt broken and 4 different colors and not in a good way and I paid $250 for something that I didnt even want Before I had gone to the salon I had looked up the reviews and seeing that there was quite a Few of horrible reviews on here that other people had had horrible experiences but me being me I thought oh thats not going to happen to me im going to go there and get what I want well if thats what youre thinking take this as a huge red flag do not go to the salon if you actually want to get what you paid for do not go to this salon thinking that youre going to get what you want because you are most likely definitely not they will lie you and tell you that they could get your hair to where you want it on the first try when it doesnt come out the way you want it theyll tell you you have to come back and the more and more you come back the more your hair will look like what you wanted but in reality thats just a big scam to get you to come back over and over again and charge you $250 each time so in conclusion they are very on professional theyre Not honest theyre basically just bullies could have done a better job myself for 20 bucks I would definitely not recommend going to the salon and I hope that you dont so you dont have to go through the same horrible experience as me once again do not let their social media fool you this is a horrible salon and if I could give it zero stars I would but unfortunately you have to at least give them one star to post a review

Like a lot of the reviews Im reading about the HORRIBLE service at habit salon I also had he worst experience. I had made an appt with Jamie. I had drove an hour and s half to the salon prior to my appt yo show her my extensions that I wanted taken out and their extensions put in. Jamie was so reassuring that she could do the work exactly how we discussed. The day of my appt Jamie had NO clue on how to get my extensions out (that she had already seen and said she would have no problem getting them out) so she sent girls from the salon to go buy random products to remove my extensions. In the meantime sat in a chair in a corner for hours. They were not able to get my extension glue out all the way, so she just colored random chunks of hair that was not glued together. During my appt Jamie also had 2 other clients that she overlapped on my already long hectic appt-its like a sweat shop in there. During my appt I had to listen to the very unprofessional Jamie tell me about how she shipped her kids off to boarding school, how she never visits and then all her favorite sex positions. I was mortified, she even sent her assistant away so she could tell me her disquieting details of her sex life. I couldnt get out of her fast enough and when I checked out she charged me $1,500 for my hair!!!!! Because I couldnt get out of the salon fast enough I paid and left. I ended up going to a salon in Scottsdale to have them fix my spotty color and when the owner of the salon met me and saw the work she was mortified. She told me hat she had NEVER seen a worse color or extension job before. They got the glue all out with a simple spray of the right solution, colored my hair and to top it off... I HAD THE BEGINNING of a bald spot on my left side from where she tied of my extension. I had told Jamie it was way to tight but she said it had to be that tight to hold. I had to ha e the extension removed completely. I was bawling, I just spent $1,500 for Jamie to destroy my hair and had to pay again to fix her damage. I contacted the owner Chrissy Rasmussen and explained everything, asking her to at the very least just fix my hair color. She was basically blew me off and never replied back to me in regards to fixing the mess. I was dumbfounded that as a Salon owner she wouldnt of done anything to help remedy the situation. Shes RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL and I would NEVER go there-be aware! I had found a good salon in old town Scottsdale and the owner did my hair and told me she had had several girls go to her to fix he mess hat habit salon did to their hair. Chrissy is the worst salon owner, she cares about only herself. I had spent $1,750 of my hard earned money and I didnt get so much as an, "Im sorry". DONT GO THERE!!!!!!!! If you have problems dont bother contacting Chrissy Rasmussen she wont care. Super rude and inconsiderate!!!!!

Ive been very very picky with salons. I lived in NC for about 4 years. Worst hair stylists and service to get. I have naturally thick hair with a lot of volume. I also have dark reddish brunnette hair. I had gotten toner the last time to brighten it up but the colors were gross. It was lighter but Un even. I read and glare at reviews for hours. I was hesitant going to this salon due to such bad reviews. Almost all reviews were bad. Yet I was calling around looking for salons now being back in the great ol Az. None answered others were busy. I finally decided to pick up the phone and call Habit. They answered, asked what I needed. After researching my hair for hours, knowing my hair type. I told her exactly what I wanted and who I wanted to get my hair done with. I arrived 20 min early. Lauren got me in asap after I arrived. They were sweet, helpful and all the women there are full of joy. They have Netflix going and Laruens assistant Lauren yes thats her name too was absolutely darling. She heard what I needed from my hair and we discussed it after a while had a game plan. I was tended to and felt very relaxed. After I got the color treatment they both got to work blow drying my hair. This is the ultimate test for me. I walked out looking like I got electrocuted last time at other salons. I was expecting it to be the same. However it was not!! They took time actually blow drying my hair to the last hair. Put a lot of smooth and sturdy products which helped my hair stay soft. She gave me a little trim and I was set. I fell in love with the most gorgeous hair ever!!!!!!!!! She did absolutely amazing. If only they had more of these two I would be happy. For one do your research. Especially if you arent sure or dont know. Look at pictures, styles, techniques. I know for a fact if you are cheap and dont know what youre talking about youll have a horrible experience. Dont go to high end salons with cheap pockets and complain. You can discuss prices with them. You can see what they are charging you for. I absolutely loved my hair. Better than a hand full of salons Ive ever been to. I am very laid back and calm but Im blunt when it comes to anything of mine. I will pay for great results. I will also be returning for more hair treatments. The color came out natural and bright . Even all around and jaw dropping. Thank you !!
