Wow, what a terrible experience! I called 2 hours before my spot to see if I could push my appt back 30 minutes and was told no. So I got there on time only to have to wait 20 minutes for my stylist to start late. I was very specific about the color I wanted, even telling the stylist to be careful not to use any "orangey" tone! Color was applied and I was seated in processing area and was told I needed to process for 25 minutes. After sitting there for 50 minutes with no one checking on me, I had to flag down an employee to let her know my scalp was on fire and I had been there twice as long as I should have been. My stylist was now cutting someone elses hair so another girl had to come and wash the color out. She assured me the color would still be fine, and I had to tell her I was more concerned about the condition of my burning itching scalp! Eventually my stylist came and got me, with no apology or mention of my discomfort at this time. She pulled the towel off and started combing my hair...and my mouth dropped open...even soaking wet, my roots were glowing ORANGE! I said, ummm, my hair is orange! She seemed surprised and agreed with me, stating she was also surprised?!? She assured me it would be fine and we just needed to tone it. So more color was applied and she again assured me it would be fine and the toner would only need 5-7 minutes to process. She kept checking it, but it was so bright orange it took 20 minutes to tone down. I ended up with medium reddish brown hair and a very irritated scalp. I had asked for a DARK burgundy/mahogany brown...not at all what I got. I let my stylist and the girl at checkout know was unhappy with the treatment I received and the final color. I was told I could come back the following day to have color corrected with another stylist. I was unable to keep that appointment because my scalp was too irritated to put more chemicals on it the next day. I was charged about $100 for cut and color with no credit for the botched service I received. The front desk girl explained there was no one on site with the authority to make amends. But she assured me she would write up a customer complaint form and have someone contact me to make things right. Its been 3 weeks and no one has contacted me. My hair has now washed out to an ugly orangey-brown shade in just three weeks, so i am going to have to get it colored again this week or go another couple weeks with ugly hair :-(. Do yourself a favor and do NOT go to this crappy salon. They do shoddy work, have zero customer service and dont stand by their work! What a disappointing experience!

I wouldnt say I had the best experience. I got the spray tan which was a freaking nightmare, I came out blotchy all over and it was horrifying. I quickly tried to wipe it all off but had to scrub with lemon juice and baking soda once I got home. They offered a complimentary redo but no freaking way would I ever do that again, Id much rather a refund considering something was obviously wrong with the color or machine. I also got my eyelashes done, the girl was super nice but by the time I got home, half of the lashes fell off. I had to scramble and pay someone else alot of money to have them redone so that was upsetting. I had my nails done and the girl was very nice but its only been 4 days and the polish is already coming off. The best experience I had was with Jessica who did a wash and style on my hair. She did a fantastic job. Update: 6/2/16 I must say even though I had some bad experiences with the company I am super impressed with the management and the team. I recieved several calls and they really wanted to know exactly what happened and what they could do to improve it. Every single person in the salon was super nice and I explained it may have just been the product and as far as the tanning the lack of knowledge which was supposed to be better explained. There are a few things they will implement to hopefully keep this from happening again. I will definitely be returning to get my nails done and my hair with Jessica. Im giving them 5 stars from my original 3 due to the promptness and unexpected concern from management. Its clear they really care and means alot considering what I had spent.

I am writing this review because I feel that I was treated unfairly here. I made an appointment to get a color and cut and ended up not being able to make it to my appointment the day I scheduled for. I called back a day later and asked the girl on the phone if I could come in that day for a cut and a color (or something to fix my color) She proceeded to ask me "what I wanted" I told her I wasent sure what my hair needed and she continued to harass me to the point I just said let me reschedule. I resechulded and when I went in to the salon I said hi Im here for my cut and as I was walking away the girl at the desk said under her voice "thats the girl that dident show up" I went back with the stylist and she ended up just doing a minimal cut that I payed $53 and when at the bowl was pulling on my hair really hard. she said she dident have time for a color when I told the girl at the desk that I wanted a color when I scheduled the appointment. The stylist proceeded to say that a toner or color would only darken my hair? All in all was not a good experience.

I wanted to write an updated review from a previous one star experience. Recently i gave a negative review abut this salon from a bad experience i had with a hair artist they later fired because of poor performance. I was contacted by Luxe and offered an additional refund after receiving a partial refund months ago after the initial service. I also happily scheduled a second cut with Danielle who fixed my hair the first time after it was ruined by an artist named Kristin (again who no longer works at this establishment!) I was extremely happy with my cut from Danielle she was sympathetic and I regret not noting how wonderful my cut was in my initial review. After how much they have done to make things right with me after a TERRIBLE first impression i can honestly say I am a customer for life. Danielle is the only one i trust to do anything to my hair from now on because I am still a little traumatized but I know I am in good hands with her and her families salon! I will recommend Danielle to my friends in the future. Thanks Luxe for making this right!!

I visited Luxe Salon & Spa this past week and had a wonderful experience! I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and explained it to Jenna. Thankfully, she totally understood what I was going for (a trend color that fit with my busy mom lifestyle). She explained the process, helped me pick out a color and made sure I was comfy (with both the hair and in general; offering drinks and such). I did a little cut along with the color and she listened; keeping my length but getting rid of split ends and helping my hair feel healthy and not so heavy (I have a lot of thick hair). She styled it in beautiful curls and I mentioned never being able to make it look as good. She gave me tips on easy ways to style my new do and when I tried them a couple days later I was really happy with the result. I will most definitely be returning to Luxe Salon and Spa and Jenna!
