This is my second review for this shop. I wanted to write another because i feel like more people should be aware of how good of a shop this is. Jesse is the owner, i met him when i had my ford ranger and he did my brakes. Awesome guy. I then took my 02 subaru wrx to his shop and i needed a full build done on the car. New rotors, new vacuum lines, wheels, tires, headers, ac recharge, intercooler. Full tune EVERYTHING. The car had been sitting for 3 years, with the oil and fluids still in it. I gave jesse a price ceiling and he did everything and more. He always stayed in contact with me over a couple week period. I told him i didnt have a time limit. He asked me before he did ANYTHING. He did multiple alignments because he adjusted my ride height and i was super picky about it. I cant say enough good things about his shop and crew of mechanics. One thing i want to say is that people get mad because they dont take care of their vehicle and something breaks and they take it into a shop and the mechanics tell you whats wrong and give you the price. Most people dont want to spend money so they get pissed. This shop is always going to tell you whats wrong and also what might be going wrong in the near future. They care about their customers and they will be straight forward and honest. Ive built a type of friendship with these guys and im happy i found this particular shop. I brang a project car to them and they went above and beyond. If you dont want a broken car then maintain it and take it too them. They are not "shady" and i always felt i was being told the absolute truth and thats the most important part to me. They give you a print out of prices and what cost what so you know exactly what you were charged for. Thanks jesse and the crew for taking care of the many cars that i trusted you guys with

I had just recently spent a lot of money elsewhere to get multiple repairs on my car and my "check engine" light went off yet again. I took it into Honest 1 Auto, as they were the closest auto shop, not expecting to leave without spending at least a couple hundred for a diagnostic and repairs. I was assured that they would only charge me for the 1/2 hour diagnostic even if it took longer to find the problem. Well, they found the problem within minutes of completing the diagnostics...turns out that the previous mechanic forgot to connect a fan in my engine. To be sure that this was the issue, they connected the fan, tested the car, and confirmed that this was the source of the problem. To my surprise, when they handed me my keys (an hour or so later), I was told that there would be no charge for any of the diagnostics or the time they spent on it due to the fact that there wasnt really a repair problem!!!! I have to say that this was the most pleasant experience Ive had getting my car repaired. Other than not having to pay anything, this was the cleanest shop I have EVER been to and the staff was professional AND ultra-courteous. I will confindently be bringing all of our vehicles back when I do need them serviced.

New ownership - bad experience! I used to bring my car for repairs and I was impressed how good and honest the place used to be. Not anymore! Now they are not ashamed to rip people off and a simple job turns to be hundreds of $ on an old vehicle where the parts should just cost much less what they are charging for. For car starter replacement they charged 670$!!!! Can you believe it!!!! Because the car was towed to the shop and they understood we cant tow it back, it was inoperable!!! Rude, unapologetic, unprofessional! At Toyota dealer this service price check came out to be 370$ (labor+part) and at other places 280$(labor+part)+tax. We are taking them to small claims court!!! They put rebuilt part and charged for it almost 400$, although rebuilt cost for compatible part is 118$ and at the dealer the new part is 219$. Then they charged 100$ for diagnostics which is not necessarily in this kind of problem. I was told by another auto shop (when the services were already done) that it is obvious that the problem is starter, so the proper way is to replace started for 280$+tax and if the problem persists then do diagnostics etc. They charged us for both! Big liars! Not honest!

My experience was just awesome. They fixed my brakes, new tires, my warning light, did an oil change and overall inspection so now I feel safe and secure in my used, 2009 Toyota Highlander which is a main source of support for me and my girls. Good name "Honest1..." because these guys are straight forward and honest. They dont use muddled, obscure lingo as an attempt to show off their knowledge and expertise to gain your trust, ...and they arent condescending. Their communication is clear and to the point. Prices are more than reasonable, and even though I couldnt afford it, Id feel good paying even more than they charged me just because the service is so excellent. These guys make sure everything is done right and meets your highest expectations and total satisfaction. They will do whatever it takes, even if it may cost them more than the price you paid, to make sure you are happy. They warranty and stand by their work. I can only assume that their mission must be to gain a customer for life.... *Bonus - the owner is what is called "eye candy" :)

I brought our car here for an oil change. They only use synthetic blend or full synthetic. They dont use conventional oil because it doesnt offer much protection from wear on the engine. While I was there, I got an air cabin filter, engine air filter, and wiper blades. With tax and my 10% off coupon, everything costed $87.05. Thats close to what a dealership would charge you to just get the air filters! I love this place. We are always treated respectfully, and women can come here safely and not worry about being overcharged because they may not know something about cars. Thankfully, I do know a bit about cars, and he did NOT over charge me. Trust me, you can trust these people. I have spoken to one of the owners a few times, and he is very polite and upfront about everything they do. Now if only they can get a banner placed up at Ironwoods football field, maybe more people will see how amazing they are! As long as I live near H-1, I will bring our car there for service. Thanks Honest-1...The world needs more auto care shops like you!

For the name Honest they are far from it. Took my car in for and oil change by the way it stupidly over priced and to have my AC recharged. Was told my AC condenser had a hole in it that will cost 470 something to replace. I said wth. Looked up prices 60 bucks top for this part new. So i said dont do any work im taking it somewhere else. They did the oil change even though i said no. 2nd person pulled the condenser out did a dye test and showed me there is no leaks no hole and asked who said there was. They called honest care car and chewed them out. My total bill with honest would have been over 700 dollars. I only paid 220 with a new condenser, radiator and engine flush, all new fluids. That includes parts and labor. Now thats honest. Very upset that they did this. I went to them because i trusted they would be caring enough to stand by their name. I will never take my cars to a shop again.
