I found Kens Tire and Auto Shop online. Comparing prices to get my car repaired that I have already had inspected for the current problem. I called and spoke to someone got a price and also appointment to get my car repaired. I was told why the owner then if there was something else sound beside what we spoke about that I will be charged an additional fee. Not too much longer I was contacted and told it would cost an additional $269 total $769. I was told this would fix my problem. My original problem that my car had been overheating and was losing water from the reservoir. The only solution that I can complete manifold. After getting the car repaired and returning back on the road it lasts exactly two weeks before the same problem occurred again. When I contacted the owner to let him know that the problem that they were supposed to fix had occurred again he gave me several reasons why this could be. And also mention that it can be my service stat and thermostats can only last for a couple of days which Ive never heard and did not understand. When I return back to the shop the owner immediately looked at my car and told me that I need a radiator fan. When I asked how could it need a radiator fan when you just charge me over $700 to fix the problem. We went back and forth what is never explain to me why my fan had failed to stop working. No matter how many questions I ask they failed to answer them. Took me and my fiance in the office and quoted a price of $500 plus tax. With also pain over $769 for the same problem two weeks prior. As frustrated as I was I decided to walk next door to AutoZone and get some information from them period not only it are priced apart they also get me some information about the shop that wasnt so pleasant. They quoted me a price of $200 for the part that I needed period And when I tell them where my car was they didnt have anything good to say at all. One salesperson just shook their head and the other one stated they had no comment. My fiance and I have spent a lot of money here and we are very dissatisfied. We got the car diagnostic because we have taken advantage of several times and have been out of a lot of money behind the same problem over and over again. When we took the car in it was already established that it needed a manifold but they insisted that there was something more to the problem that that need to be repaired to make the car run again. And two weeks later the problem occurred again with 500 more dollars out of our pockets. I believe this auto shop to be dishonest and not people of their word. There is signs all over saying how they guarantee their services and satisfactionn to their customers. I am unsatisfied customer with empty pockets and a car in the still does not run.

Ive been coming to the shop for years now, ever since Ive owned my first car theyve taken care of me in a quick, timely manner. The shop Owner Ken Stiving and shop Manager Joe Klaas for very professional and extremely knowledgeable master mechanics who know what they are doing. The quality and workmanship found at Precision Auto cant be beat, and for the price, youve gotta check them out if you need work done on your ride. Whats nice about this place is the company is transparent. Wanna meet the technicians working on your vehicle? No problem! Wanna see exactly what they found was wrong before the write you a quote? No problem! I dont mind spending $1,200.00 on brand new shocks/struts/and an alignment here because they are honest, down to earth mechanics. Another nice thing about this shop is if youre down on your luck and dont quite have enough cash to fix your vehicle, they TAKE PAYMENTS! They will work with you on getting your repairs taken care of! Give em a shot! Theyve got 5 stars from me all day long! Oh, theyve got a nice waiting room as well, Wifi, movies playing, staff is fun to talk with too.

Kens shop is the best place in town. I used to use another shop a couple miles from Kens until I realized that shop was constantly telling me I needed more work than I really did & seemed to be doubling the cost of other places. Ken has done wonders for all 3 of our vehicles, even when he did not profit from it. Ken makes it a point to do what is right even if he doesnt make a huge profit from it. He is definitely the most honest mechanics Ive found. Kens priority is his customers & doing anything he can to keep them safe. Ken will also explain all your cars issues and tell you which are most urgent to fo, he will also tell you if you fix one thing, what else it may help fix. If 3 or 4 codes are really caused from one issue, he will tell you up front you only need to fix 1 thing to fix these 3-4 issues, instead of most shops trying to tell you every code needs its own work to be fixed. He definitely goes above & beyond.

Ken is super nice and the guys at the shop really seem to know about cars which was refreshing. I had my 300 at a dealership in the valley to have some recalls fixed and they locked up the engine so it was there for over a month, they didnt even mention anything was wrong with the car when I asked them to look into the sound it was making. Also took it to Firestone before that and they said Id have to take it to the dealership or wait for it to break basically because they couldnt figure out what was wrong either. Finally had my last straw with the noises it was making and just happened to take my car to Kens shop. They called me within an hour of dropping it off to tell me what was wrong and gave me an estimate of the work needed and then had it fixed within a few hours. They dont drag their feet. The car is running great, I feel like I got my moneys worth. I will be going back for my car maintenance.

Amazing shop. Car overheated twice. Google auto shops neaby. Found this one with 4.5 stars. So I gave them a shot. Called them at 0900 told Joe what happened and what was going on, he said go ahead and bring it in. I bring my 06 scion xb in and they run a diagnostic. Couldnt find the problem at first. Before they went in and did more things to my car, Joe and Jerry came in and explained what was going on and even showed me. I appreciated that. Ken, the owner, came in later and again, talked to me and told me everything they found wrong with the car what they needed to do to fix it and what it would cost. No b.s. from them and helped me out tremendously in a time of need. Was there till closing, 1500, and they completed the job and really helped me out with everything! ! Thanks for being super professional!!! Ill be back there when needed.

I took my 1999 Ford E-250 to Kens for an engine replacement 8/07/2017. His mechanic Jerry did the job. I got it back on Saturday of the same week a beautiful professional job. Ive been driving it now for 10 days it runs great. When I took it in for the emissions test it passed with flying colors. The hydrocarbon ppm was 21 compared to the old engines 158 the previous year, very impressed. I got 319990 miles out of the old engine and I expect to do better with this one. Im very happy with the price, warranty and length of time the shop had it. Good honest shops are hard to find and I would definitely recommend Kens Tire and Auto to anyone looking for a great repair shop. Thank you to Ken and his competent staff.
