I had a PO box with this Hathaway location, and it was time to pay the semi annual fee of $25.00, which this price is posted on the actual envelope itself. So wrote a check and put it in the envelope and sent it back through my residential mail box. I have done this several times in the past the exact same way just a few days before the end of the month and never had an issue with it getting to the post office and them cashing it. Well this time about 2 weeks after I sent it out I went to check my P.O. box and I was locked out. So went to talk to front counter lady, she had my check and told me that I didnt pay enough because their fee went up. She even had the envelope that I sent my check in and on it said $25.00. She said that I should of got a letter in box that the fee went up. Well if the price went up, dont you think you guys should have put what the new fee is on the envelope???..the lady didnt care at all she acted like it was my mistake. Then she told me it was late so I had to pay a late fee... REALLY!!! So I asked her how much I owed and she tried to get me to pay over DOUBLE!!! The price of the new $28.00 fee... So she wanted me to pay $49.00... Never had the honor of someone who clearly can see that they were in the wrong and still looked at me and said... " thats just the way it is"..., WOW!!!!... I tossed my P.O. box keys on the desk and walked out.. Get with the program LADY!!!... I will do my best to not ever deal with this place again.

They are the LAZIEST postal workers I have ever encountered! After a vacation hold, they decided to deliver my mail to my box of 3" x 8" rather than to my door in a white postal holder. Contents in this small hole were: 11 postcards - 10 weekly fliers - 12 magazines - 50 pieces of mail - 2 foamy mailers. I had to scrape my knuckles to get it all out and put it into a trash bag. Then there was a key, to get the remainder of 3 boxes and 3 more bubble mailers out of a larger box. I have Multiple Sclerosis and have requested SEVERAL times for this lazy dude to deliver to my home. He is NOT a postal worker but buys the route. I called consumer affairs who has the LOCAL post office call me who of course covers his butt. I call Postmaster General office, since he BUYS the route they cannot fire him, or they will have to pay out his contract and they just cannot affort that. Is that even believable? I have had issues with this lazy jerk before, and he continues to do whatever he wants. His job is secure. He can deliver your mail or not. He can steal it or throw it out. His job is secure. In the meantime I have several men at my church who would deliver your mail to your house and greet you and tell you to have a blessed day in order to have a job, and this is what the taxpayers get. OMG what have we come to? They cannot fire him, I find this unreal

Im not sure what is going on with our local post service, for the past three months we have received a lot of others neighbors mail a street over, or not even in the same sub division. I have a package with tracking number from UPS and it is saying that it has been at the local post office since 1/11/2017, today is the 1/17/2017. The product company said it has been shipped, UPS said it has been delivered to the post office, and the post office said they do not have it. Since I have been receiving other people mail and packages for three months, four times a week, I cant help but think that my package is lost somewhere with the post office. My family has been here since 2013 and this by far the worst it has ever been.

Worst Post Office me & my family has EVER had to deal with. We have been waiting days for our package to arrive only to receive the wrong package. When we tried to sort this out, it not only took way too long as if they were purposely dragging this out on purpose, but when our order was finally found & delivered to us (after filing a complaint hours before) the key to the mailbox was the wrong key and got stuck as if they were trying to get back at us for filing the complaint! These people are not professionals and have treated us and our mail disrespectfully! Trying to receive mail has never been more stressful than this!

13 calls thru mid-morning on Wednesday and greeted only by a busy tone....in 2016! No automated system?!! And as an Army brat and later Active Duty Ive lived all over the country and this is the FIRST post office Ive heard of that is closed on Saturdays! I just moved into my new development with 15 other families already here and growing, the builders sales office has had our mailbox keys on their desk since Dec 8 but we dont get mail here! Why? Because post office has yet to assign a carrier to my neighborhood. Nevermind that right across the street is an older, established neighborhood that gets mail. Unacceptable!

The people are nice. The problem is they do not always scan your packages into the system. That can cause big problems, especially if you are an ebay seller and the package is not traceable. The other problem is it may not even get to the customer because it does not exist according to their system. I dropped them 4 packages today. I got home and at night tried to track them. Non of them show they were scanned. It is if they were never dropped. It could be the USPS system. But this is not the first time. If you go there. Do not just leave your packages. Make sure they scan them and give you are receipt.

The hours of operation of this PO are unsatisfactory. Monday through Friday 830-430 and closed on Saturday. That means, if I need to pick up a package (which I do), then I need to miss work to do so. With the weekday hours as they currently are, which are actually about the norm, then they need to be open on Saturday, as most post offices are ... even if its just a few hours. If they are going to be closed on Saturdays, then they need to keep longer weekday hours, to accommodate the fact that most people are at work when they are open, say maybe a 7am-5 pm kind of schedule.

Love the staff here - theyre the kind of real people that give this small town its family feel. As a business owner who ships my packages at least a few times a week there, theyre funny and super supportive - that kind of encouragement isnt something Ive gotten at other USPS stores (whod have thought!) Theyve offered me suggestions to help make my shipping more efficient, and thats certainly been great for me.

This post office is very good and efficient unfortunately they refuse to hire more people for the obviously growing community and needs.....weekends!!! Not everyone is available during business hours and every other post office in America is open on Saturday. Aside from the hours the people are great. Dont try to call because 9 times out of 10 you will get a busy signal or it will be after hours.
