This place is the exact reason why Ive always been scared to try someone new. I usually go to R salon in Phoenix but didnt want to make the long drive and this place had a few good reviews so I thought Id give them a try. Worst mistake of my life. I had dark brown hair and asked for a chocolate brown base with blonde highlights. My stylist bleached my whole head and 6 hours later she said she was done and thought it looked great.... my hair was gold and orange!! It was late (almost 11pm) so I decided to come back the next day to have someone else fix it and again made the mistake of trusting another one of their stylist. I had to beg them to fit me in today and they kept telling me they didnt just want to put me with "anyone", that they wanted to get me someone good. I finally got them to fit me in and the stylist added a toner to my hair to darken and remove the orange. It looked mediocre at best and I was not very pleased but figured it was better than gold, however, when I got home and it dried I could see that my hair was light ash brown all around STILL with gold throughout. And to make matters worse, my hair is super damaged now and I have to wait a while before going back to my regular stylist and having him fix the mess they made. Until then, I have to walk around with super embarrassing hair. I will be requesting a full refund! UPDATE: TO BE ABOSOLUTELY CLEAR, the very reason I was even in was because I had box color in my hair and it was the very FIRST thing I said to the specialist, Amanda and to another specialist who she asked to co-consult after I asked her what I wanted. I never lied. Why would I lie and risk the damage to my hair. That is absolutely insane. Your salon is very unprofessional and if your employee is denying that she had that information, then she is the liar.

I dont know who is giving all the 5 star reviews but I had a much different experience. I have curly hair and I asked for an experienced stylist. On the day of my appointment everyone was nice and cordial. However, what is normally a 3 hour appointment for a cut color and style only took 45 min. I left with a striped, bleached splotch, mop of a hairdo. What I thought according to the reviews was going to be my new go to spot, turned into a nightmare. The owner offered to fix it herself but I was not willing to take a chance. I ended up spending $160.00 to fix the damage. This was in March and I am still growing out the damage. Unless you have very simple hair I would look for another salon. Sincerely, Ray Alistic

Ive been going to Divine for years. Divine has a warm atmosphere and they are always changing the decor to bring interaction with their customers whimsical side. I appreciate the respect they show their customers. I always receive notifications and reminders of appointments and if I need to change an appointment it is an easy process that Lorrie has always been more than happy to help with. My stylist, Ayn, has always been very attentive to my requests and would even make suggestions knowing that my request wasnt really what I wanted the end results to look like. I recommend this salon to everyone, I even drive 30 minutes to go here because no place is worth it more than Divine Hair Design.

I had an excellent experience here!! Everyone is super, super nice and friendly. Im in town visiting once a month from CA. Ran out of time at home during holidays and Divine was able to get me in day after I got to town. Ive got "high maintenance" hair and dont like to go somewhere new. This shop was recommended to me by my boyfriends daughter. Im SO GLAD I took the chance. Richelle took the time to discuss my hair and what I wanted, and what her recommendation was. I called first thing this morning to get an appointment to have highlights done. To my surprise, I was on my way the same day for my first time visit. Everyone was so pleasant & friendly from the time I arrived until I left. Kristin, my stylist, took some time to ask questions about my hair, the color, how I style it etc. She explained how she would do the process & made a personal profile to keep on record. Kristin also wrote down what my total cost would be today which I appreciated & I have to say their prices are very reasonable. A very pleasant experience & I have booked my next appointment

Tamara is the best! She loves her clients and we all love her. My husband and I have been going to Tamara for about seven years and she is so consistent in her hair cutting and styling! As an aside, Tamara found out that my daughter has been taking lunches (started with 20 a week and now up to 100 a week) to the homeless near her job in Phoenix. In addition to the lunches, my daughter takes hygiene kits and t-shirts (used but clean). Tamara made a huge donation of items to hand out in the hygiene kits. That made Lisa as well as a lot of homeless people in Phoenix very happy.

Made an appointment and was seated promptly. The staff was very friendly. Missy was fantastic. Im the kind of person that goes in with only a vague idea of what I want, and she was great at guiding me through the process, giving honest opinions and suggestions. Even while she styled my hair, she took me through it step by step teaching me what to do to get my hair to look great every day, right down to tips on using the round brush! For the cosmetically challenged, I had my best hair salon experience ever. Thank you Divine Hair Design. Cant wait to visit you again!

I absolutely LOVE DIVINE HAIR DESIGN, Tamera has been doing my hair for over 8 years and I will NEVER let anyone else touch my hair. I have always had great confidence in her. I just tell her "Do your Thing Tamera" and she has NEVER let me down. I always get great compliments on whatever my hair looks like. I have even recommended friends to her and they are forever returning customers. They cant thank me enough. All of the staff is so friendly and welcoming too. So if you are needing a great new style I highly suggest Divine Hair Design!
