I would actually say in between very good and excellent but it isnt an option. The staff is always friendly and always doing whatever possible to serve customers. What I love most is that many repair shops try and sell you stuff you don;t need. In many places you go in for an oil change and come out with a $200 bill. S&S has never tried to do this trick with me and I highly respect that. The only area for improvement would be to have more tires in stock in store. I was given the option of waiting for regular tires or having the top tires placed on my car. Overall not a huge inconvenience but a place for improvement. Update: Today I went for a tuneup and did not know what needed to be done. Previous places would have called me and told me it was going to be about $800 with a laundry list of things to do. To my surprise they called and said there really wasnt any thing more than the spark plugs. I told them to go ahead and do a power steering flush and brake flush as I new this was coming due in the near future. This is now my go to place. On a side note I went to just brakes after my visit because I forgot to tell them I needed the brakes checked. Just Brakes tried to quote me at over $600 including a brake flush and power steering flush. After I told them I just got it done and opened the caps for them showing clean fluid they told me never mind. Avoid just brakes and go to S&S.

I arrived for an alignment but was told the tie rod was stuck and couldnt be turned. This was true. So they added everything up and explained I also needed my Idler arms replaced a service all together of 500.00. I must have looked like a grade A sucker that day because the guy said there was an additional charge of 25.00 for the inspection, I let him know I didnt come in for an inspection but came in for an alignment he conceded and gave me my quote for 500 and I left. I took the vehicle to two other mechanics and inspected the arms myself and there was no need to replace. I also unstuck the tie rod and took it to a different mechanic who performed the alignment with no issues or further warnings of worn out idler arms. I originally went here because of the reviews but was disappointed in this experience and wont ever be back.

First of all let me say that I was a big Discount tire patron... Recently my class A RV needed some new tires on rear axle. After looking extensively for a truck tire shop in the Glendale area I was turned down several times due to the size and weight of the beast, when S & S was recommended by Sun RV: No disappointment! Team is friendly, store carries a huge inventory of name brands tires in stock, prices are low and service is quick. Installation Technicians deserve a special mention: One of them after helping me backing out of a tight parking spot comes running and knocks on my window: "Sir your left back-up light is out". Great find!

I am very pleased with the quality of service, customer service, no bs and acceptable prices. No bait and switch games here. This is my new tire place for my BMW and my Chevy truck. Went to a major tire shop with discount and tires in their name and they lacked customer service at one store. At another they were telling me just how it was going to be. I am the paying customer and couldnt get what I wanted. That place lost me as a customer. A blessing in disguise is what it was. S/S Tires is a great place and anyone who wants excellent service for their vehicle should visit S/S. I highly recommend this place.

I have taken my car to many different mechanics through out Phoenix. Most of them try to squeeze every penny they can out of you over something small, making it seem like something big. S&S Tire is different. Theyve never tried to rip me off, and are always extremely helpful and friendly. I used to live in Surprise, and now live close to Downtown, and I will make the drive to this mechanic shop. If you are seeking a mechanic then trust me, look no further. I refuse to take any car I ever drive to any place else.

After another shop made me wait an hour and a half and then were unable to replace a leaky valve stem on my tire, these guys at S&S saved the day and got me back on the road in under 10 minutes! The best part is they didnt even charge me! I am very grateful for these guys for helping me out and who were not just trying to sell me new tires like the other shop was. They care about people and understand customer SERVICE. This is the place I will buy my next set of tires from! Thanks again guys!

I thought the staff was friendly until there was an issue when I had an alignment done. Then everything changed when it came to the customer service and safety factor .I almost got in an accident because one of my alignment bolts were not tightened properly.The staff wouldnt even take the time to look at it or give me the time a day and they did not care about the customer safety or satisfaction at all but boy were they quick to take my money first time.

Never go there. In a few words I got charged 700 dollars to fix the AC and within 2 weeks it stopped working. Took it back and they wAnted another 1200 dollars to fix it again. No guarantee on their work and they will keep milking you until you are bone dry. If you decide to go there consider any money you give them like a donation to their paychecks. They will fix nothing.

Workers a pieces of work. Completely screwed us over. They aligned our car knowing that the alignment wasnt the issue and that once the issue was fixed it would need realigned afterwards. Scammed us out of our money and were giant assholes about it. Not at all worth going to.

I explained what I had for tire size, lift and when I got there prices went up. Also alignment charges increased ridiculously and the head technician said he would have to disassemble my control arms to align front end. Complete BS!!! Head technician is a pre-madona
