A&C Brothers Moving were to arrive between 7-8am. Crew arrived at 9:30am with no phone call advising theyd be late. They dropped and broke an expensive coffee table. My dining chairs were criss-crossed stacked in a pile with wire-wrack shelves from the office. Almost all chair legs are scratched. Table leg was whacked so hard it is broken and crooked and the pull-out leaf is no longer functional. They placed washer & dryer in wrong positions (ie. washer at vent, and dryer at waterlines), we had to move them later. They left refrigerator in garage space instead of at end of garge so we could park. They left dresser in middle of bedroom doorway. Mattress was ripped and punctured. Nightstands scratched and nicked. Dressers and chest of drawers scratched and nicked. Another chest of drawers was not secured and a drawer fell and hit the street when they were carrying the chest off the turck. Sofa leather was scraped and scratched. Just about every piece of furniture has some damage to it. The did not wrap furniture in blankets as promised over the phone. They claimed they would send a professional piano mover to move the piano. They did not. The young man (not piano mover) on the crew spent his time bubble wrapping my piano (this is not how a piano is moved) as the other 3 crew members stood around saying, "dude, I want to learn to move a piano." They were practicing with my instrument. I stopped them from moving it once I saw how they were banging everything else around and I called a real piano mover who had to spend time removing bubble wrap. Thus, I ended up paying for the time spent bubble wrapping a piano. Senseless. They indicated they worked (billed in advance) until 7:30pm yet they left our home at 7pm. They refuse to adjust the invoice. They tell you over the phone (in trying to get your business) that insurance is included and they pay $.60 per pound (worthless in reality). What they dont tell you is that you need to have original receipts for your furniture. The workers stood around chatting with each othe as well as on their cell phones. They stopped for lunch and sat in the shade eating it -- another hour theyre charging me for when they were not working. I would give them ZERO stars or negative if possible, but they earned "one" only because it is required.

Beware!! This company is a rip off they quote you a price that sounds really good $79.00 an hour 2 hr. min 1 hour trip fee $50.00 deposit that is use tword you final bill. You get your movers to your starting location and they will load some of you more expensive items and thats when they have you sign the contract. Thats when the scam starts. They have dollies but use them only once and while. One mover will stand inside the truck while the other one hands him things. This will slow down the process to milk the clock. Calling the company wont do any good. Candice the receptionist will say someone will call you back but no one will. When we got to the final location Jaime driver/ mover asked to use my restroom and stayed in there while one move slowly unloaded. When there was the bigger things left the mover knocked on the door and asked if the other mover was ok. He came out 35 minutes later and helped Adam the mover get the rest of the Items out. Jaime the driver/mover came in and said he had to call the office and find out my final cost. I got a bill for 316.00 plus a 3% fee if you use plastic and they kept the $50.00 deposit. I noticed that my flat screen T.Vs were not there. I ASKED WHERE ARE MY T.V.S !!? Jaime said they will not unload them until I pay. He said customers refuse to pay once the job is done so now they are told to keep an expensive item in the truck to make sure payment is received. I went to get my T.V.s myself and was told by Jaime that that is not my property when it is in there company truck. I yelled those are my T.V.s.!! Jaime said not until that card is approved are those your T.V.s. I have been calling the company and Candice tells me there out of the office and she will relay the message. No one has called me back.

Amazing job by A&C Brothers Moving & Storage! Now a days its really hard to find a good service A&C Brothers Moving provided me with some of the best customer service. From the initial phone call the professionalism and detail that they give you when explaining the service is next to none. Even when we got off the phone and sent them an email on a question their responsiveness was impressive. We moved out of a 2600 square foot home, a home that we had occupied for over 15 years; so we accumulated a lot over the years. I knew this move would not be easy and would need an experienced company to help us. After several talks with Art of A&C Brothers Moving we decided to use them, I am glad we went with this company. The movers arrived right on time at 7:00 AM. The five movers were personable and courteous they did a walk of my home and I gave them instructions on specific pieces that I wanted them to have extra care with. The movers all were very careful with my belongings and treated my property with care and respect. It is hard to find a service like this now a days, I was impressed. The guys worked their butts off and did not stop, I had to tell them to take a break. They loaded up two trucks tops to bottom in 4 hours. I was amazed at how they worked, these guys are truly professionals at what they do. Once we arrived at our new residence they placed my furniture where I asked them to put it, they also assembled everything back together for us. Our move took about 7.5 hours very impressive for 15 years of accumulated stuff. My hats off to A&C Brothers Moving and their team! If you are looking for a great moving service, I highly recommend that you give these guys a call. LW

I would not recommend this company. My initial contact with A&C Brothers was very pleasant and the movers who showed up were friendly but tired, as they had finished a move from AZ to CA and driven back that day. It was not an easy move, as I lived in a third floor walk up. Even so, the move took a very long time to complete, consider it was a small, one-bedroom apartment. I had budgeted for three hours and was charged four and a quarter hours. My new roommates, who had a 2-bedroom apartment (also a third floor walk up) and therefore double the furniture and boxes, used the same company and were moved in four hours. It wasnt the movers fault, but they were obviously tired and moving slower, and this cost me a lot of extra money. Most disappointingly though, a mover dropped a box and six of my mugs were broken. Its been over a month and I still havent received the paperwork to file a claim for the damages. Ive called three times and am frustrated. It doesnt help than most of the mugs were gifts from former students with sentimental value attached. I was also overcharged for a quarter hour of time. I know this because I watched the clock carefully as we were already over the time I had budgeted for the move. The person I spoke to on the phone was very dismissive of my complaint, as it was "only 15 minutes" and the refund wouldnt be much money. Im in a financial position where every penny counts and I am angered by his dismissal of my concerns. The whole experience was costly and extremely frustrating. I wish I had called around to compare pricing more and asked specifically what job my movers were coming from; this would be my advice to anyone looking at using this company.
