We used Mergenthaler for our move from Bozeman to Savannah, GA. We took all their advice, used all their services, bought their recommended insurance. We paid over $7000 for the move. A 24 extension ladder and one box containing family heirlooms somehow was lost in the move. How do you loose a 24 extension ladder?? Merganthaler is NOT claiming any responsibility and is refusing to compensate me in any way. Although Dane Murphy in the Bozeman office has been very professional and empathetic, the Helena office is refusing to offer any assistance. To replace the ladder is under $300. It is not the cost, rather the principle. They and United Van are touting all their special services, surveys, etc. and then they handle a issue in this manner. It is certainly not the Montana way, nor a professional way to treat a paying customer. Based on my experience, I WOULD NOT recommend using Mergenthaler.

Wow what a terrible move. They sent a small truck, with a lift, so it required two trips to the storage unit. The move forever and the storage unit was packed terribly. I have moved 20 times in the past 15 years so I know a good move vs a bad one. This move was the worst. I called and the mgr credited me with an hour of moving fees, which helped, but I still wouldnt recommend them. Wasted use of space in the storage unit and my items just thrown everywhere. Moving is stressful enough, do yourself a favor and use anyone else.

They were able to get our move done on short notice. They stored our belongings while we were in between places. Very easy to get a hold of for any questions. I have no reservations about recommending them.

This is the third day WAITING for the move... They have made every excuse imaginable and have offered no RELIEF ... We now only have 4 hours to be out and still no help... Horrible business

Worst in the business! They "LOST" my $9000 motorcycle! Then the driver got pissy with me when I would not sign the invoice. (they wanted me to sign it to release them from liability)
