ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! I scheduled an appointment with Al two weeks out b/c that was the soonest she could see me. I told her over the phone EVERYTHING that I would need done at this appointment and she said that she could do it. I drove all the way from Tempe to see Al and also waited 2 weeks for this appointment. When I got there, Al told me that she did not remember me telling her everything that I needed to have done and she didnt want to be late for her 5:00 appointment. I offered to stay so she could do my hair after her 5:00 and she said NO and sent me home! A true professional with good customer service skills who is also polite would have accepted the fact that they made a mistake and try to correct it. Al should have stayed after her 5:00 appointment or offered me a free service. She did neither. As a result of her lack of professionalism and courtesy, I will never return to this salon and I strongly suggest you think twice about booking an appointment with this beautician/salon! Response to Als response-- This response is nothing but excuses and poor excuses at that! There is no accountability in this response. As a customer, it is not my job to take the time and critique your note taking skills. I was a first time customer and had no idea that you forgot about half of the services that I told you I would need done. We had a 15 minute phone conversation and I went over EVERYTHING that I wanted done. Its not my responsibility to make sure you take the proper notes on the conversation. Although you did offer for me to come back the next day, that would have been at the full price which is not fair given the mistakes you made. If you wanted full price you should have stayed and done my hair, not sent me home! I have never seen a beautician treat a customer so badly!

Not all heros wear capes! I had been self treating my thin and damaged Caucasian fine hair from clip in /tape In extensions for years, which then led to alopecia patterns thoughtout my whole head. This was Embarrassing enough where I didnt even want a stylist or anyone to see my real hair ever! After finding Al online and doing a ton of research on all of her training, licencing, specializing in alopecia clients, and also being a specialist in hair extensions & color I finally came in for a consultation. She took me into her private suite where I was very comfortable to discuss my sad situation away from all other clients. She made me feel extremely comfortable and like the stylist she is she created a plan to get my hair back to healthy with regrowth in the safest way possible. Al has been nothing but the most outstanding hair stylist and women I have ever met. Unlike some of the Scottsdale stylists who I had previously looked into for treatment that are extremely over priced with average outcomes. 5 years later this woman has restored my hair and all alopecia damages with her insane enthusiasm and dedication to her career and her clients. I will never let another stylist touch my hair. With that being said this woman deserves an award. Ive never felt more confident about myself and my hair is beautiful. Thank you Al! And Latoys touch of beauty for making me more confident and happy with myself and my hair! ❤️❤️❤️

I came to Al at LaToyes to fix my hair. I previously went to someone in Scottsdale that had said that she had 30 years of experience and was a "expert". Needless to say that the incorrect extensions were put in my hair and had to have it all redone by someone else. I have naturally curly hair and wanted a wave in my extensions so I can wear it either straight or curly. I explain this to the previous person and she put straight extensions in my hair. when my hair got wet my natural hair was curly and extensions were board straight. it looked awful. On top of it the previous person had put tape extensions in and they didnt last long and when they came out I had gaps in my hair and the person would schedule a quick fix but then would cancel. It was a scheduling nightmare. She would always cancel in me. I had to pull my hair back until I found Al to fix it. She is absolute angel and definitely an "Expert". I would recommend her to everyone that wants to color your hair extensions, color or cut. Shes great!

I received this as a Christmas gift and was very disappointed before even having a chance to get my hair done. I would not recommend this company because for one I had a difficult time getting ahold of someone to help assist me with an appointment and when I finally was able to speak with someone, she was rude and not willing to help fix the situation. On top of what was paid she wanted to charge me more money and cancelled my online appointment. Very poor customer service and not worth the discount to receive such poor service. I would rather pay full price and go to an up scaled salon then deal with such rude and obnoxious behavior. She did nothing but argue and her lack of customer service just shows the quality of services I would have received had I gone there. So Im very happy I didnt end up going there. Good customer service is a MUST and this place definitely does not have it.

My experience with Al and the services I received was absolutely wonderful! She was very professional, attentive, and explained the whole process. MOST IMPORTANTLY, she took her time and paid great attention to detail. She really cares about the outcome of her work and I could have not been more satisfied and pleased!! The cut, color, and highlights turned out awesome and have received many compliments! I did not have any issues scheduling my appointment. In fact, Al actually accommodated my time schedule. The whole process went very smoothly. When she was done, I was walked towards the door (which has never happened when Ive gone to a salon), was not charged extra monies, nor was she expecting anything in return. I had to stop and tell her I wanted to leave her a tip she well deserved! She is definatetly worth my drive from Chandler and will be back!

I recently was diagnosed with Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (CCCA) which is a form of alopecia on the scalp that results in permanent hair loss. It happened abruptly leaving me with bald patches throughout my hair. Thinking there was no hope, I simply covered what I could with headbands which, in the end, was causing more bald patches. Thank God for Al- Eisha who has been so sweet and understanding with the sensitivity of my pain and has helped me with a FANTASTIC new hair-do that will help grow my hair back. Today was the 1st day of me rocking my new hairstyle without a headband and I received sooo many compliments! Today I wasnt worried that people were noticing my hair, but rather I showed off my hair with pride and felt BEAUTIFUL again. Thank you so much, Al- Eisha!

I have been going to LaToyes for a few years and I am so thankful I found Al. Even though my hair was completely damaged, I never felt judged. After following Al’s advice, my hair is now nursed back to life. People who do not see me that often think I have extensions because my hair looks so healthy and it has finally grown. It is sooooo hard to find a quality saloon that can relax hair for a mixed chick…especially one that is so close to me. On my most recent visit I told Al that my blow dryer gave out mid-fro and that I did not like the one that I ran out and purchased. She pulled out a brand new blow dryer that was the same brand of my old blow dryer and was one that she did not use, and gave it to me! I highly recommend that everyone give LaToyes a vist.
