Made a hair appointment, let them know I had thick, curly, long hair and that I wanted my hair died and straightened. Show up there, lady was helpful choosing colors that would match me from what I found on Pinterest. The girl took texting breaks in between dying my hair which I didnt mind so much initially as long as I got it done right, she was in the middle of buying a home. When it came time to rinsing the dye out, she did not rinse most of it out. It truly felt like she was disgusted rinsing it off my scalp. She was going to blow dry and straighten my hair with hair dye literally on my scalp, and face. I canceled the hair straightening furious so I can go home and rinse it out properly and do my hair myself (I had a special night that night). I was charged $200. The color came out nice after rinsing it out myself. The cut was absolutely terrible also, like she cut it without looking. I will NOT recommend this place to anyone who does not have thin white girl texture hair like it seems like they are used to. I had to fix the cut, wash, and style myself?? So unprofessional. Giving 2 stars because if the color only.

So Ive been here a few times and this is the only place Ive gone since the year and half Ive been living in az. Their chocolate at the desk is to die for. Its chocolate nuggets and its hard not to look greedy and take the whole glass of candy. Anyways Ask for Michelle ..hopefully I spelled her name right. But she is awesome and got my strait across bangs back on point... Id say shes done better on my bangs than any other hair dresser Ive been to in the past 6 years. Was very satisfied and for once even my husband thought she did a good job. Usually I got home and correct it but not today. Just communicate what you want and shes got you. Im very very very well pleased and happy with the face frame work she did on my bangs.

Excellent! I went here after thinking it would be fine to go to Great Clips and get a simple cut. I dont know why I think I can get away with that with insanely thick, coarse curly hair. It was a disaster. The stylist cut my hair but it didnt come out quite right. I called and asked if it could be fixed and she was happy to do so (the first time wasnt really her fault; I was conservative in my explanation when I wanted a more radical change). It was totally worth it to spend a few extra dollars.

It was my first time getting my hair done in the state of Arizona and I have been going to the same stylist since I was 19- Im 30 now, so Ive been flying home to get my hair done about every 2 months. Well I decided to try this place Cloud 9 in Tempe and the staff was all so nice- they carry Bb which is my favorite product/shampoo & conditioner- I went to MICHELLE and seriously could not be happier!!! She rocked and my hair looks amazing! I will be stopping in every 5-6 weeks! SO HAPPY!

Got my first cut with Lee and loved not only the cut, but Lee too! I found her by asking a woman whose hair I admired, and she referred me there. I liked what she had to say about Lee and she was right. It has only taken me 8 years to find a great hairdresser! I also liked the spa....the services menu looks reasonably priced and offers a wide variety as well. I will be back!

My friend who was visiting for her birthday and I had a girls full spa day. It was wonderful. There has only been one time with a mix up of an appointment that I havent loved every visit to Cloud 9. The mix up was addressed and also handled very professionally. Our day was wonderful and I continue to make Cloud 9 my "go to" location for all of myself and all of my friends.

Love Cloud 9! Been going to Martha for two years and have always loved the outcome. I constantly get compliments on my cut and color on my hair. I highly recommend this clean, professional, and beautiful salon. All staff members are very friendly and make your stay very pleasant.

I had a great birthday and it was thanks to my boyfriend and Cloud 9. All the staff was very nice and very accommodating. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away and have a day! Great gifts idea too.

They do a good job and all, but last time I went I got a trim and had my shoulder length hair dyed black and was charged $95. Overpriced in my opinion and you can find someone else cheaper to do just as good a job.
