This post office system needs a lot of TLC and a revamp!! Here are all of the problems I have experienced: 1.)When first moving into the 85020 area, my husband and I noticed we almost never received our own mail. We even had sensitive information dropped off to a neighbors address! I understand it this happens from time to time- but we were receiving wrong deliveries almost weekly! So I came into the office to see why this was happening only to be told we are on a "training route" so there was nothing I could do about it. 2.) When my husband and I resisted for wedding gifts, guests had the option to just mail our gifts to us. 50% of them were delivered to the wrong address which resulted in not receiving gifts and loads of customer service calls consuming hours of my life. 3.)I recently made a very expensive online purchase and I tracked the package of course, knowing our mail services arent great, and it said it was "out for delivery". However when my mailman got to my home he had no package, searched his truck and still no package! I called the post office worried about my item and they "found the package there" and told me to come pick it up. When I arrived the package was partially opened. I have very suspicious feeling about that situation since it was a high end purchase, like I said! 4.)Today I dropped off a package of a pair of boots I sold online. I told the customer I would mail first thing in the morning since she needs them for a trip by the end of the week. I dropped them off at 9am and the post office STILL hasnt scanned the package in and Its 4pm. So this only reflects poorly on me event though theyre the ones who havent been doing their job today. DO NOT trust them with your mail if you have another option. Unfortunately I dont have another option because I am stuck with them until I move. I really hope they get an operations overhaul soon- they need it!

I would like to respond to some of the comments about the post office I am a letter carrier an dletter carriers are far from the laziest people do not judge until you walk in someone elses shoes, Most days I work between 11 hours without a break or lunch because our routes are so overburdened, we deliver ups and fedex packages for them, if you see us out late at night were probly on our second or maybe 3rd route. The postal service is only losing money because thier prefunding the pensions for people who havent even been born yet. Wake up people your tax dollars do not pay for the post office you are getting a free service if you buy a stamp or send a package thats how much you contribute to the post office! I think everyone shoul get a bill in the mail every month like the trash bill or electric bill then you have the right to demand better service. Most postal workers are tired and overworked that is why they seem cranky when they have to go out of their way to do special favors afterall its all about you right! Maybe you should get a 62 hour a week job so you can check your mail at 7:00 pm like I do!

I have always had a pleasant experience at Sunnyslope PO. There are days that they are short handed. Its a small post office and if one person is ill, Im sure it puts the entire staff behind as everyone has their duties. I do get frustrated with my mail carrier. I see him sitting along side of my house or in front of my mailbox, talking on his cell phone or listening to a ball game. If we have a substitute carrier on our route, the mail is usually delivered 2-4 hours earlier then our regular carrier. I know they dont skip lunch in our neighborhood, all the carriers gather at the local bowling alley for lunch. They deserve their breaks and lunches, especially in this heat with no air conditioning in their trucks. But I do think the carriers should keep moving on their routes, cut down on the chit chat with people standing outside and deliver the mail.

I came here today to ship out a small package. I brought in the box with the address in hand. The lady looked at me like I was a moron for not having the address written on the box. I told her that the post office I have been to before usually prints a sticker label for the addresses. She said to me in a very condescending tone "I am going to hand you a marker now so YOU can write the address. YOUR address goes HERE and the OTHER address goes THERE." as if I dont know how to write an address. Usually I would not care if someone was trying to be polite and help me, but her tone was inexcusable and she stood there with a smirk the whole time like I was wasting her time. This might be because I am young, but either way it was very disrespectful. Very poor customer service. I will not be coming back to this location again. Serious improvement need to be made.

Just moved to the area and paid $40 and ordered a mailbox key. I was told it would be here in 2 weeks. Its now been a month and my key has never come. Every time I call if they even answer phone they check, say it isnt there then say they are going to call mail carrier and that the mail carrier will either call me or they will. I even tried giving them special instructions where they could leave the key or asked if they could maybe HD it for me at post office and I could come and pick it up. Still have not gotten my key. Wish I could fire this post office and use another post office. Guess Im never gonna see my mail again because when I go there to check my mail they never have any for me. Thank goodness I can pay most of my bills online.....if I even know what they are since I dont get mail.

the supervisor mr.cheatam was rude and belittling to my wife and self. for asking him to retrive a undelivered mail for us.after degrading us and his staff for previous doing us a boxholder for this favor ( mind you infront of other customers) he finnally after much pleading on my part did the favor. it took all of 60 seconds. he assured me my box would be flagged for nobody to help us again search for mail. we must wait until mail has been delivered to box no matter how long it was to be. my goodness wheres the custormer service. and how did such a rude man get into such a position. it seems with all the struggle of the post office lately they would bennifit from offering better customer service. i would support them. p.s. i am filing a formal complaint.

Chimpanzees could do a better job of delivering the mail. Our community mail box is broken and a notice was posted directing everyone to pick up their mail at Sunny Slope post office. I go there and the women, less intelligent than said chimp, goes to back room for almost 5 minutes (probably 4), returns with a handful of mail, I look at the first couple of letters and see my name and address and head out the door. I get home, unbundle the mail and find that the women, again not as smart as a chimp, gave me the mail for the entire neighborhood. Checks, credit cards Netflix, god knows what. Hire monkeys, they work for bananas.
