Horrible! Disgraceful! Sickening! DO NOT waste your time or $$ here. My mother went to pick up a gift certificate for my dad for his birthday. There was a customer YELLING on their cell phone(the person working even said something about how loud the person was speaking). My mother politely asked if the person behind the desk if they would ever ask a customer who was being disruptive to the "spa like" environment to lower their voice or go to a different area. The woman who was working said "no. Im not going to say anything because I dont want to offend anyone(I guess my mom doesnt count as anyone). I also refuse to sell you a gift certificate because I dont want any problem from you in the future." This is AFTER she tried to purchase the certificate over the phone but was unable to because of the general incompetence of the people working there. They just said we cant figure out how to charge you, so we cant issue you a certificate. So my mom was inconvenienced not once, but twice by having to make a special trip to pick up the certificate because the people working there couldnt complete a basic task. And then they throw HER out because she simply couldnt hear what the counter girl was saying??? It is an embarrassment not only to women in business, but to women in general. Way to go PURE! Thanks for keeping the rude, catty, brainless and certainly not suited for business female stereotype alive and well, and taking it to an unheard of level of ineptitude. I should also mention that my mom is a 69 year old grandma and one of the kindest people the world has ever known. These women should be MORTIFIED that they conducted themselves in such an unprofessional manner, but Im certain they will feel quite justified in their actions. Ladies, I own 18 restaurants in the Phoenix area, and I would NEVER, ever make an amatuer mistake like this. No wonder youre already one location down...

I am very proud to be a part of the Pure Salon team. My background includes over 10 years of cutting and color work, along with degrees from both Brazil and the US – combined over 3,000 hours of training. My passion for the beauty industry travels above and beyond . The sky is the limit for me, changing people’s look and feeling’s fascinates me. Being a hair stylist gives me the power to help people and that is my intention. I can be a therapist, a friend or a simple light at the end of a tunnel. I can make someone’s day by being a hair stylist, and it is my personal goal to make a difference and bring a smile to each and every client. I love my job and after moving to Arizona I found Pure Salon to be exactly what I was looking for. I realized life could be much better working in a chemical free environment and being able to make my clients look and feel better was a win win. By using organic chemical free hair color you will reduce the exposure to potential harmful toxins that can be present in a salon environment, you can be sure that our products are not tested on animals. By switching from a normal hair color to a organic hair color you will absolutely achieve the same results, youll be safe in the knowledge that the products used to dye your hair contain fewer chemicals. Organic chemical free is ideal for people with skin disorders, pregnant and people with allergies. If you need more information please feel free to contact me or any other member of our team at Pure Salon

After having my hair colored by Deborah, I walked out of the salon with hair color all over my forehead and on and around both ears. WHY? When I asked her to clean the color off my face she flatly refused. She told me once I got home and washed my face once or twice the color would come off. When I asked HER to do it she told me the salon does not use any toxic products and I would just have to change my plans if I had anywhere to go. It apparently never even occurred to her to take a wash cloth and some gentle soap as any professional would do. Deborah made no attempts to clean the color off my face while I was having my color processed and thereby let it soak into my skin. She runs errands and never checks on me. While she was shampooing me she roughly rubbed my skin for all of 30 seconds, so rough in fact that I have floaters in one eye. When I got home my husband took one look at me and told me I had color all over my face. In the 30 years I have been having my hair colored I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. Pure Salon????? Pure Laziness!!!!

Place is a bit hard to find - they could use better signs and the suite number...however, I thought Jen was wonderful! Very upbeat positive persona and loved what she did. Not pushy on products, cared about my comfort, and my hair looks great. She resurrected it from a bad perm and cut. She paid attention to the hair color and took out the foils early as the color took faster than normal. No one ever did that before! Im going back, though I live in another city.

Ive been going here for about 4 years, for cut and color. Im always happy with how my hair looks when I leave, and I love that their products are all organic, vegan and cruelty-free! Before finding Pure Salon, Id go to other salons once or twice, but was never happy enough to keep going!! I had basically given up and started coloring my own hair. Thankfully I tried this place and didnt regret it! Highly recommend!! :)
