I had laser hair removal on my beard, and I want to get the negative out of the way first--it certainly was not pain-free, even with numbing cream and even though theyre using the best laser on the market (I did my own research). Thats because the beard (for men) is the most painful area to treat--nowhere else has as dense hair and as sensitive nerve endings. Im sure the other reviewers who had pain-free experiences on other treatment areas are telling the truth! Overall, I couldnt be happier with how they handled everything--they are very knowledgeable about what they are doing, and the facility is extremely clean. Kelly is the best; she always made me feel comfortable and balanced my pain tolerance with making sure we used enough power to get results that were worth it. In the end, it was--originally I literally couldnt shave the shadow of my beard all of the way off. Now, shaving is way easier, my skin is way clearer, and I am way happier! In my before picture, I had shaved about an hour beforehand; in the after picture (after a set of six), I hadnt shaved for about twenty hours. True Med Spas customer service is top-notch, too--always complimentary water and sunscreen, and they promised a free touch-up treatment for writing an honest review. If youre going to get lhr, get it here!

I have had really good experiences so far with True Med Spa. I have been very nervous about getting a photofacial as I was afraid it might hurt (yes, I am a wimp!) But I have some dark spots on my face and really want them gone. So I started with a hydrofacial with Laura - and it was wonderful! Laura was so kind, explaining everything and giving me great tips on how to take better care of my skin. My skin was so soft after the treatment and I could see good results within a couple weeks so I got my nerve up and went in for a photofacial. Kelly was fantastic, so patient with me. I told her I was a little scared and she explained it all so well. I didnt use any numbing gel, though I could have, but Kelly made me feel so comfortable I decided to just go for it. The whole experience was so easy and not at all painful. It just felt like a little snap - like a rubberband, but not hard. Once I got used to the feeling, I just relaxed and enjoyed the experience. Its been 2 weeks and the dark spots have lightened quite a bit. I cant wait to go back again in another 2 weeks and continue!! The spots are suppose to be gone in 4-5 treatments and I believe it based on what I am already witnessing. I highly recommend True Med Spa in Scottsdale!

This place is so great! I had laser hair removal for my arms, legs, and bikini. This is the first time I have ever done this, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff is so helpful and kind, and all the ladies Ive worked with have been amazing! I did 6 treatments, and I really started to see big results after 3 of them. On my leg, I have a large birthmark that they go around, so I can clearly see the difference between "with laser treatment" and "without laser treatment". I had no idea the difference each session makes! I do have to point out that its not entirely pain-free -- particularly on sensitive areas like the bikini line -- but its as comfortable as hair removal can get (Ive tried lots of other ways). Plus, each session gets easier because there are less hair follicles to target. Each staff member I worked with was great about pacing myself while also making sure that the procedure was being effective. I highly recommend you go to this place for your skin care. It was worth the time and money. Its so much easier to maintain the look that I want and I feel so much more comfortable with my body (I had a lot of hair that made me feel self-conscious). Got the red carpet treatment at this medi-spa. Got the Hydra Facial from Kelly and it helped instantly with my break outs and skin texture. Also got laser hair removal on the lower leg and it was so painless. It was amazing as I had gotten it 11 years ago and remember it being so painful, I used to cry. It feels like nothing and is so quick. Cant wait to see the results. Also got the Venus Legacy on my stretch marks on my upper leg/waist area and my stomach. After having a kid, was very unhappy with the stretch marks and stomach and I saw results so quickly. It really does work. Its a bit hot but not something thats unbearable. All done by Dr. Choi who is very knowledgeable and whom I trusted to do the best job. Lastly, I got botox for the very first time in my face to help w/ headaches and fine lines. Also some Juvederm infection on my upper lip. I love my new lips! I was very nervous as Id never done it before but it too was very quick and easy. All in a clean and modern setting and Im very happy with the results! Definitely plan to go back. Even if it requires me traveling from Los Angeles!!!

I had a laser hair removal on my legs for the first time at True Med Spa. I was traveling Arizona, and I stayed at the Hyatt hotel next to True Med Spa. It was a great experience with amazing results. I was kind of nervous to have the treatment at first, but Kelly and Kevin made me feel comfortable by explaining step by step what would come next. It was not painful whatsoever (as I had initially expected). Dr Choi and Kelly are very friendly and professional. The staff care about their patients and provide great service. My hair hasnt grown back even after months since the treatment. I will definitely go back to True Med Spa when I visit Scottsdale again and have a hydra facial too, as well as another laser hair removal service. Now I am getting ready to be in summer short and bikini. I strongly recommend you to get consultation right away. Dr Choi will explain to you what you really want to get.

I am so glad I decided not to go the "specials" route (you know, the discounted fillers given by RNs who are trying to build up clientele) and went this route. Dr. Choi was wonderful. He was precise, made me comfortable, and I was given filler that looked as perfect as he would want, just not as perfect as I wanted. He is deliberate, patient, takes his time, and is so kind. What a difference. Its WORTH spending more on the product and experiencing cosmetic enhancement in the hands of a doctor. Plus, numbing is available--dont shy away, he knows how to make it all very comfortable! He had me in happy tears! The staff was great and the environment clean, professional, and not one "overdone" face in the place. Natural, beautiful results. I will be back! Be sure to check out the monthly membership perks. I will never look around for another place for cosmetic needs. This place has it all.

Laser hair removal had been such a positive experience!! Kelly has helped me achieve my hair removal goals. I was SUPER nervous! Kelly was great at explaining step by step what she was doing. This treatment was pain free. There were a couple of time where it tingled, however was NOT a painful procedure. Kelley was great about stopping and giving me a moment. haha! Overall the laser was tolerable. The Spa was nicely decorated and very clean. I loved the spa smell that was there. The team had such legendary customer service. From making my appointment to showing up to my consultation they made me feel very comfortable and made sure that all my wants and concerns were a priority to them. You will not be disappointed! Get in there and let them help you accomplish your spa needs!
