Too bad! We thought we were headed in the right direction when we joined AAA recently and saw that we had access to a AAA automotive repair shop very close to our home. We own a 2010 Honda Crosstour and normally have the oil changed at the Honda dealership ($25 with mailed coupon). Since we felt we needed an alignment also, we thought we would give this AAA location a try. Mistake #1! We were originally quoted $19.99 for the oil change. Within an hour or so we received a call and the price increased to $59.99 since the oil requirement is a synthetic. I contacted the Honda dealership where I have gone in the past and they said that the oil can be a blend. I called Eddie back and provided this information. The price then decreased to $45, which is still $20 MORE than the dealership offers with their coupon. During the first convo when the oil change price increased I was also told of about 5 other "money-making" repairs that were needed. I declined all and will go back to the Honda dealership and Costco (for tires) since I felt like I was being scammed. Typical bad auto repair experience where you feel you are being ripped off, however, this will be the one and only time AAA Auto Repair in Tucson will have that opportunity with us. Oh, BTW I dropped my car off at 9:30 am (scheduled appt) and I finally called the shop at 2 pm to check on the status. They hadnt even started the oil change since Eddie said it would take 20 minutes and the car would be ready in 35 mins (?). Good thing we werent in a hurry and had another car to drive that day. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Ive been to AAA AZ Auto Repair three times for three different major repairs and I have been extremely satisfied with all three repairs! Carla (Auto Center Supervisor) and Eddie (Service Advisor) are both very professional, helpful and courteous, and they both go the extra mile to make sure the repairs are done right the first time. I have always been given a written estimate before any work was performed, and upon my approval of the estimate, the repair work was done professionally, timely and at the estimated price. The waiting room as well as the shop are both clean and neat, and when the repairs on my vehicle were completed, it was just as clean as when I brought it in (no mechanics dirty fingerprints). I highly recommend AAA Arizona Auto repair--they do a great job, in a timely manner, and at a fair price.

Had a repair problem with someplace else, and just kinda walked in on Eddie Paz and the crew to ask for their estimation of my cars problem.. I am Senior, and a card-carrying AAA type who would need a ride home if big repairs were needed, which they offer. They did LOF and their inspection list, and also checked the problem. Ended up taking me home so they could complete the project over the rest of that day; and, then came to pick me up at the end of the afternoon. My vehicle is 15 years old and so there are things to be done ... and a "new car" is not one of them! Thanks for the work. I will feel good about any return visits, which I will plan to make. :)

When I arrived to pick car up the shop made the following account right! I appreciate what they did. Original review edited. I allowed the AAA tow driver to bring my BMW here. I had previously planned on having it delivered to local BMW dealership. Driver said they were fair and honest and worked on BMW. Also said I would get a AAA discount. The repairs quoted to me were $300.00 more than the dealership with my discount! I ended up taking time off work without pay to buy water pump and thermostat at dealership then deliver to AAA Repair to save $300.00! I was then told they would not warranty repair because I did not buy parts from them. Unbelievable!!!

I went for an oil change and that was fine but in the checking all other stuff on the moter they left off a screw on my air filter. I got a list of all they found my car needed to have repaired and i was shocked to see they wanted 19.95 for an air filter when I can buy it for 14.95 and install it myself and also for my cabin filter they want 59.95 and i about dropped dead when I went and bought it for 17.95 and installed it myself . I thought AAA was supposed to help seniors. I am 68 years old and female but I know something about cars and if I can do it myself I do. Please pass this on to females to question prices on some of their work.

The work and price are great the front office people are on top of the work to be done and are really working for you to get the best for your dollar. I trust them with both cars and i will use them again, eddie and carla are super people working to get you the best value for your dollar, the shop seems to run very well , i heard no yelling or disappionment on the faces of the workers in the shop. great job AAA keep doing that best you can it shows. After an inspection at the AAA on River/Orange Grove following the oil change, they found NOTHING that would point to a problem with my car. Eddie is a great coordinator, communicator, and troubleshooter. He suggested two reasons why my engine would "skip" and said bring it back in it if it ever happened again... This was a pleasant, cost-effective, very efficient wait. I recommend AAA Tucson Auto Repair to my friends who need honest car maintenance.

Took care of me just fine, but significantly over priced! Our car broke down due to a starter. We usually use another local shop that I trust. Tow truck driver convinced me to try AAA shop flaunting our discount because of AAA membership. We received a 15% discount on the labor, but the price was about 40% higher than anyone else. I will not be back, ever.

I had been told that I should have tires balanced and rotated to fix a problem with shaking of the steering wheel at high speed. I was set up with appointment for the following week. After I had the work done it was a blessing not to shake all the way to my turn off going and coming home from work on Monday. Thank you for taking care of me and my car. Jane

These guys did a great job on my car and knew what they were doing. They also did their best to accommodate an angry women who was in a rush. My only complaint was that I did have to 2 hours for them to change the oil.

Look for someone else. They are dishonest, add extra fees when ever they can, and were unwilling to work with our Car-Max extended warranty company.

The front office staff is friendly and I did get my truck in for service pretty quick but two days later my truck still had the same problem.
