Just got my good ol 1990 BMW 325 front end alignment here, it was pulling badly and the steering wheel was crooked after I replaced some suspension parts on the car myself. These guys were extremely friendly and generous with their time in helping me to understand what they were going to be doing. After the alignment the car tracks perfectly straight and the steering wheel is level. They even rotated the tires for me since having driven it out of alignment for a bit too long, the rear tires were in better shape to be on the front. Needless to say Im very happy with B & L. Very comfortable doing business with them and was treated fairly on the price. I would give them 10 stars if it were an option! BTW, In asking around when deciding who to use for the alignment, several shops and parts stores mentioned B & L as one of the only places they would take a car to get it aligned. Their reputation among people in the auto repair business is top notch.

These guys are the best mechanics in the Gallatin Valley! Unfortunately I have had the need to use them frequently. Very knowledgeable, experienced, fair priced and can work on just about anything that comes in the door. Plus if they dont think they can solve the problem--they know where to refer stuff too ( e.g. deep transmission problems). Whether it is a basic brake job to a major engine swap they can do it. Just look at literally the tons of tools/diagnostic gear they have setting around that shop--truly craftsman of their trade. Forewarning--they are busy--if you have time on your side it is good to make an appointment. In closing--for the first timers--their business location can be hard to find but it will be well worth you while. Five star rating--well deserved!!

I had my car overheat while driving to work in the morning sometime in October. I had the car towed to B&L and they got my car in within an extremely reasonable amount of time. They were cordial, professional and the shop is very clean and organized. It ended up that I had a blown head gasket. I had them replace both head gaskets per their recommendations and my cooling system all checked out and flushed. They were the best price in town or anywhere around. I have taken my vehicle back to them now for maintenance and other repairs since. They are always professional and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this shop to anyone needing any type of repairs.

These guys are great! I took my car to have a leaky fuel injector replaced, as well as a few other things. I was referred to these guys by a local parts store. They are very knowledgeable and made sure I was informed on what was needed. I took my car on Friday and apparently these guys worked overtime just to get my car back to me by Saturday morning. I didnt shop around for estimates, so I cant comment on price comparison. After talking to these guys, I didnt want to go anywhere else. I think their prices are very good, and I am very satisfied. I highly recommend this shop, and will be using them for all my future auto repair needs!

Brent and Ken were both awesome! I dropped my car off around 11:30AM without an appointment due to a cooling system issue and ended up needing a new radiator. I was more than fine waiting a few days to get my car back because I knew they were pretty booked, but was pleasantly surprised to get a call at 4:30PM that same day to let me know that my new radiator had been put in and that my car was ready to be picked up. They were recommended to me by my employer, and I would gladly recommend them in turn to anyone who is looking for friendly, accommodating and efficient mechanics.

What fantastic service! The guy who worked on my car, James, was courteous, knowledgeable and I got the impression that he wasnt going to try to rip me off or sell me something I didnt need. Ive had awful experiences with Bozeman auto repair shops over the years. B and L was a whole different experience. My car was back quickly, the price was the best around and the repair actually fixed the problem. A+, I couldnt recommended these guys more.

Ken and the guys have helped me out more than once with there fast friendly service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend them if you need your car or truck fixed they will do it right. They are willing to explain whats going on and why they are doing what they are doing. They diagnose problems and fix them. They dont just throw parts at the problem and hope... they will save you money and time by doing it right the first time.

We came in with engine/transmission making weird sounds and we had no idea whats going on. They were overbooked, they spent about 20 minutes with us listeing to engine/transmission and trying to figure out what is going on with it despite that they were overbooked. We got advices and tips about it. They were really friendly and helpfull!! Thank you for that, you made our trip much better.

Referred to B&L by Big Sky Diesel Performance & Repair after Daniel repaired the truck overheating issue. B&L tested the AC system that had also gone out, evacuated and repressurized it, refilled freon and tested for leaks. Very fast (family sitting in the truck awaiting a fishing trip), honest, friendly and great price. Need more mechanics like these two in the world!
