My four year old had never had a hair cut. Her long spirals kept getting intertwined and tangled. After deciding it was time to cut her hair, a really good friend recommended A Cut Above. The first 30 minutes my daughter cried and yelled, she did not want to get her hair cut. Amazingly enough, one of the customers at the shop was kind to my daughter who had really taken a liking to her. Between the customer and the two stylist; they were able to calm her down enough and get about 8 inches cut. Our experience was extremely amazing and I definitely would recommend A Cut Above to others.

I drove by and saw the neon "no wait" sign so I stopped in this afternoon. Serena conditioned, shampooed, thinned out and cut my hair. She took about 2 1/2 to 3 inches of dry damaged hair off. My scalp felt great because of the tea tree conditioner & it still feels great. Ill definitely be back & recommend this place. Oh yeah, its locally owned & operated plus its affordable.

I occasionally used to get my hair cut there and I was always satisfied with my results. But what impressed me was the work they did with my daughter. She is a mixture of African American and Mexican heritage. Each individual who worked on her was very good. I also felt comfortable leaving my daughter in their care as I returned to work around the corner.

Shasha does an amazing job with mens hair. Im very picky on who gets to touch my hair and she is the only person who will touch my hair. Excellent customer service all around. Good for getting your eyebrows waxed. :)
