I dont even give single star.The first and worst experience I ever had in USA This guy Sam, he doesnt know anything about cars. He will talk as if he knows everything and will give you a minimum bill of 1000$. I went here to fix my A/C and oil leak in my car. This guy told me the problem with oil leak is because of power steering pump and he replaced it completely, in spite of me telling him the leak is from gasket, since the dealer to whom I took it before told this. He said that the other dealer was wrong and replaced everything. After 15 days, I took back to him saying it is leaking again, now he says the problem is with gasket....what the hell, I told him already and now he says he doesnt remember all that. Second is my A/C. For no reason, this guy replaced my A/C hose, vacuumed and refilled the gas and said the problem is resolved. In 15 days, it stopped working. Now, he says the compressor is leaking and want to replace it. Why the hell he did not say that before. If you dont know something, just dont do it. I wasted 1000$ without knowing these fellows. Just dont waste money going there, seeing some good reviews about smog check. Its of no use.

ATTEMPTED to get a smog check, I called in to see if it was busy, the owner said they werent, told him Id be there right away and he said that was fine. Went in and stood in front of the counter while he was on the phone with who I assume was a customer. I was waiting for awhile. Finally asked me what I needed then told me I needed to hand him my registration papers so I went to my car to get them (mind you this is only my second time doing this) I returned right away and again waited while he was talking to his employees. Now this man was talking to them forever. Im sure it was about business but he really couldve just gave me a second to get my paperwork out of the way or hand me whatever I needed to fill out. I sighed out in frustration and left. This is the same business owner thats always there and I never feel a positive vibe off of him. I see that they opened a pep boys auto shop across from them, looks like Ill be taking my business there

Horrible! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! 1. Online coupon says $29.99 just for a smog, + certification is $8.99. Ended up being $48.99, and it says labor? 2. Gentleman said he did not want to smog my car because my "brakes" were messed up. FYI, this is at 5:15 p.m. Their closing time is 5:30. 3. Went to another smog place, they rolled my car up to their dyno and it passed without any hassle. I asked them if my brakes were messed up, he said it was perfectly fine. I told him about previous smog shop, he said, "Oh yeah, it is because they service vehicles also." The lady knew what they were doing at purrfect auto. 4. I called purrfect auto and asked why they did not want to smog my car, "I did not want to do it because of the brakes." the tester became defensive and said, "i do not know why you call to complain for." in a harsh voice, and as I tried to reply he hung up on me. The review says poor-fair, they should have a "terrible" option.

Call this smog place on the phone asked how much is smog was and they said $29.95. They didnt mention there was a $8.25 certification fee. So I was expecting to pay $29.95 plus tax and I ended up paying $38.20 to smog my car. They were very picky about my car. I was missing the heat shield to the exhaust on my motor and he was complaining that it was missing and I needed to put it back on. This was the cheapest place to smog my car. Not impressed with this company at all. It took an hour and 40 minutes for them to finally get to my car and get the smog done.

I couple years ago I went there to have Altimas timing guides repaired. It is not an easy job. I decided to get the waterpump done as well. I think they quoted me around $1100.00. It took them about 4 days but they did it and this was easily a $1500-$1900 job. They also repaired my right front drive axle (additional $) but did not overcharge me on parts or labor, and the car is still running Puurfect today with 135k miles. They might be a little rough around the edges in relations but I got more than I paid for as I do wirk myself when I can.

Excellent experience. I just went today on my lunch break to get my 2004 Camry smogged. It was fast, efficient, pleasant, and with the coupon I printed online extremely affordable. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I called other smog test places and was quoted as much as $69 for the service. Here, with the coupon, it came out to just $33. I have gotten a similar price at Pepboys in the past, but the experience was poor and I had to wait almost two hours. This was by far the best smog test experience / service I have ever had.

I have been coming here for years. They do great work with reasonable rates. They fixed some very vexing problems. Sometimes they get busy because they do such good work. Waiting an extra day, if need be, is well worth it. Always friendly and great service at a reasonable price. They dont push stuff you dont need like at the dealerships and even recommend that you go to the dealership if they think your car problem is under warranty. Positive experiences so far. Only 4 stars cause I havent done any major repairs with them yet.

STAY AWAY... I BEG OF YOU... I came in to get a smog check and was completely ripped off... The guy working the front desk does not even know what the heck goes on in his shop... They are rude to their customers and to not value them... If your going for a smog DONT COME HERE!!!! NO B.S. PLEASE BELIEVE ME AND SAVE YOUR MONEY

This place is terrible. They are a real rip off. I came in for a smog check and the manager Andy charged me but still has not smogged my car. He cant do it after two different visits and refuses to give me my money back. Sam is his partner in crime. Dont go here unless you wantto be ripped off.
