This has been the worst experience. UPS is lies and is misleading. I was due to receive a package from a company that was sending me an incorrect item. Upon receiving confirmation I called the company immediately. They said to try calling UPS and inform them that they dont need to deliver the item. At that time UPS said...no we have to deliver the item and then upon receiving it I could then call and ask for a return pick up. So....I received my package last Thursday. I called UPS at 8:00 the following morning and SCHEDULED a pick up. When someone tells me it is scheduled....I feel that is considered confirmed as you would with any appointment. To my dismay I returned home from work at 8:30 PM Monday night only to find the very large package still on my front porch. I then called UPS. The woman on the phone from UPS informed me that the drive is still on duty and will be arriving some time that night to pick it up. Of course....the next morning....the package was still there. I left my home on Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM with the large package still on my front porch. I proceeded to call UPS once again to inform them that the package had yet to be picked up. They told me that someone would be at my home to pick it up sometime that day....Tuesday. When my husband arrived home from work at 5:00 PM...the package was still on the front porch. He called me....so I called UPS once again. The woman on the line informed me that she would check on the status and would call me back within the hour. This was a 5:15 PM. It is now 9:20 in the evening. I never received a call back. The package is still sitting on my front porch. I just got off the phone with UPS. I spoke with someone on the UPS 1 (800) number. She then transferred me to someone at the Anaheim depo. She, of course informed me that she really isnt able to help. That she is there basically to do some basic accounting....answer phones during the evening. She told me she would leave a message for the supervisor as well as the driver. When I asked her the name of the supervisor she said she didnt know his name.....Really? On top of it all....she was very rude. I am so surprised that in the competitive market we experience today where everyone is competing for business that an institution like UPS could provide such poor and substandard service. I own a company where we pride ourselves on service. I would never treat my customers this way. I promise to never use UPS both personally and at my company. I believe in treating people as they wish to be treated.

Friendly, civil and incompetent. How bad could it be? Believe the one-star reviews. I missed the delivery of a package that required a signature (because I was in the bathroom and did not hear knocking over the sounds of construction). I called the central office. I could drive twenty minutes to pick up my package at this location, I was told. Will I have to arrive before the office closes at 7:00 PM? No, I was told, the place stays open late for people like me picking up specific packages in response to missed delivery attempts. Id be called when the package was ready, I was assured. I was not called. So, I drove to the center. The security guard told me I could no longer pick up the package. The office closed at 8:30 PM for everyone. What? I was not warned about the 8:30 PM deadline when the friendly customer service representative promised a phone call. I appealed the security guards decision -- right to the central customer service office! I could return at 7:00 AM. Fighting through teeth of Southern California rush hour traffic sure sounded tempting, but ... Can I have the package delivered like it was supposed to be? No. Why not? The status has been changed to "hold for pick up." Change it back? No, I had requested the change. But, wait, I asked to pick up my package at the shipping center only because I was promised a phone call and the ability to pick up my package after hours. I am one of those (registered) deviants who has no abstract desire to visit an industrial park in Anaheim. Please, just change the status of the package in the system be returned to "deliver" from "hold for pick up". No. The central system could change the status of the package from "deliver" to "hold for pick up," but could not return the status of the package to "deliver" from "hold for pick up." Isnt everyone at UPS connected to the same computer system? Yes, but only the local center has the power to make such changes once the package is in its possession. Wait, but in whose possession was the package when the status was changed from "deliver" to "hold for pick up"? And, so ends the conversation with my only solace being found in the Bible, Romans 11:33-34 ("How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Who has known the mind of the Lord?").

Oh where do I begin!!!! First I was told my package would be delivered on Saturday, then I got a text that said it will be delivered on friday. Got a text it will be delivered between 2 and 6 on friday...I left work early, at 1:30 and they delivered it at 1:34, but it needs a signature so they left a note. The note said they would deliver on Saturday. I called customers service they said UPS does not deliver on Saturday. So I decided to pick it up and they said it would be at the Vernon, Anaheim facility. I show up Saturday morning, they cannot find my package. Its in the back somewhere and it will take about 3 hours to find. Then the employee said I could call customer service and change it back to a delivery to a local UPS store or mail stop near me. I call customer service and she said Apple will not let them do this so I have to have it delivered to my house for monday delivery. So I set it up for Monday delivery. I get a call this morning that due to the package being an Apple product they cannot deliver, but I can come and pick it up from Anaheim facility. The customer service people all must have there own set of rules because nobody told me the same thing, everybody had a different answer!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would my package was to be delivered 12/27/16 after Christmas and I was fine with that and then I get a email Saturday 12/24/16 that my package was out for delivery.. I was super happy since the package was a gift for my son. Sat home all day door open and then at 5 pm I get a email stating that the package is rescheduled for delivery next business day which was the original date 12/27/16.. Stayed home all F***ING DAY waiting for a package that once again never showed up called the 800 number and they say the Anaheim driver decided to hold my package and they have to wait for him to get back to work becuz they cant find it!!!!! What kinda bs is that .. The Anaheim office was supposed to call me back yesterday before 6 waited for this call for 4 hours and no call and now Im going to be waiting by the phone yet again for a calk that will never happen.. Real talk UPS yall driver stole my damn package thats the reason yall cant find it.. Never going through UPS again.. Ill pay the extra for FEDEX.
