As stressful as moving is, the Manager, Alyssa McIntosh was so wonderful, I forgot all the madness involved in moving. She was back from her break at precisely the time she had indicated she would be. I was expecting her to be professional and courteous, but she went well above and beyond. I think she sensed my anxiety and not only eased my stress, but I actually walked out of her office smiling! I am doing this move on my own, and I feel like I have someone on my side to help me now. After I left, she followed up with me that same afternoon to confirm a few details-just as she said she would. The property itself was immaculate and appeared very secure. The unit I was shown was clean and spacious. The rates are reasonable for this area and there are really great specials. I am so happy I found Extra Space. I am incredibly grateful for Alyssas kindness and help with figuring everything out when in seemed to overwhelming. There were a few storage places in the area, but I have chosen this particular one specifically because of the excellent customer service I received. I will refer all my friends and colleagues here. Thank you so much for making this moving less stressful, knowing that my items will be secure and my account will be handled by someone very capable and an amazing example of customer service. My girlfriend and I searched a few different facilities and found this location to have easy access from hwy 880 and Camden/Winchester. The two women who run the place (Tracy and Kim) are a kick in the pants. Professional yet very down to earth friendly and funny. Made us feel comfortable renting there. The place is clean and secure. They have a pretty good camera system and a manager that lives on site. We love it here and highly recommend. They showed us several units as a couple had slanted roofs upstairs on the outter side of the building. They were very accommodating and patient and found us exactly what we needed. Every time we stop in we see them out and about either cleaning or helping a customer with something.

David is very friendly and helpful regarding renting a unit and providing good customer service. There is one thing, though, that others should probably be aware of and thats the free moving truck is located at the Curtner extra space storage. I was told its the only truck shared by the locations in San Jose and Los Gatos, so reserve the truck early! Its only for you to use when moving INTO the storage unit. I had a little issue the day of picking up the truck where the truck was dead when I tried to drive it away. I ended up waiting about two hours for them to call someone to jump start the truck. I think the employees shouldve checked the truck was in drivable condition before I showed up to pick up the truck.

In less than an hour, I dropped by the office, decided between two options, and was on my way to go pack my stuff into a UHAUL. The entire experience, from confirming availability at the facility that morning to putting the lock on the door of my newly-full storage space, took about four hours (and thats including renting a truck and going back home and picking up furniture). All in all, it was quite effortless! The only downside we had was that the hallways were a little narrow in some areas. I would think that a storage facility would be more navigable, but we ultimately didnt have too hard of a time fitting a large sofa into our space.

I originally selected a unit that ended up being too small for the amount of stuff I was storing. I asked Alyssa about switching to a larger unit and she did not hesitate to cooperate. She was very knowledgeable of her job and showed me a new space well suited for my needs. She made the transfer process quick, simple and completely hassle free! Alyssa displayed professionalism was very curtious and has excellent customer service skills.This Extra Space Storage is well ran and kept up nicely. I would highly recommend this location and Alyssa is awesome. Thank you Alyssa!

A clean and safe place. The office personnel are difficult to find sometimes if there is a problem. In one instance she was in the office with another lady laughing and chatting away with the door locked. She saw me knocking on the glass but ignored us for 20 minutes so she could finish her visit with her friend. This was not during lunch and no sign was left on the door. The carts need better maintenance. The wheels lock up sometimes making it very difficult to control while pushing a loaded cart.

As a Californian, I have a very busy schedule. The manager Alyssa here understands that not everyone has time to explain in depth what exactly they need while on the phone in between errands that we can be late for. I had a great experience here saving time and money because despite our phones ringing off the hook we were able to find a big enough space for my stuff with efficient timing! Its always nice to have a personable helping hand

Recently checked with this location and met Alyssa. I am blessed i met her and she has guided me through making the best choice in my storage. I would give her 10 stars if that were possible. Her professionalism is outstandig. I would denfinately recommend her place because of her. I came here before and the other staff was not nearly as nice as her and did not get a storage then because of them. God bless her and her family.

This place is climate controlled, and quiet. The accessibility hours are great. Staff being available is hit or miss as there always seems to be only one person at this location. There has been broken glass in the hallway by my unit for months now, beginning to wonder about their cleaning habits. The dumpsters are always locked with trash piled outside of the dumpster. No locking gate for security.

I have been so impressed with the staff and facility at this location. It is always spotless, and the staff go out of their way to be courteous and professional. They have units of all sizes, and it is easy to access and move your belongings. I live just around the corner, and it is a very safe and incredibly convenient location. Their prices are very reasonable and competitive!

I have been renting a storage space from this facility since May 2015. I decided to downsize my current storage and also wanted a location closer to my residence. My previous storage was with another company, so I think that I can fairly say that this location is an awesome change! The staff is polite and helpful. The location is very clean and well-kept. Highly recommend!

John was an awesome fill-in for Alyssa (although I hadnt dealt with her before personally, Id read glowy feedback and reviews). John was no different, in fact, he stayed later than his scheduled work time despite warning me the day before not to show up too late (please do not do this--sorry John!). Perfect storage space for great price! Thanks guys.

I have been shopping for a storage facility when I visited your Extra Space facility at west sunnyoaks. I was helped out by your assistant manager Kim. She answered all of my questions very professionally and showed me around. I was very impressed with both the facility and her help. When I am ready to rent space, I will definitely rent here.
