Renson Automotive was recommended to me by a friend. I have been taking by now both my cars here, each once. The first one I was afraid of as it was a weird unidentifiable sound... They gave me a long explanation and estimate for $3-5000. At that point I quickly remembered that I purchased warranty with the car and Mark at the shop happily contacted them, worked with them and got them agree to the shops findings and pay. It was great reassurance to me that a rigorous insurance company looking after its money agreed to their complete diagnosis. At this point they just climbed a few steps higher in trust. The car was than fixed and the noise was gone. Second car I just took home from them. Again, weird noise, they could make up anything, but they simply fixed a loose belt and the noise was gone again. At this point I decided that they deserve a nice review. Besides, they offer prompt and polite service and Mark is a great asset when it comes to discuss your car, even bad news. Five stars.

Renson Automotive fixed our car when nobody else could. We had given up on the 10 year old Taurus with a recent rebuilt transmission purchased from FORD. Four (4) automotive shops were unable to determine the problem and fix it. One of the shops was the speciality transmission shop that installed the transmission; and two (2) of the auto shops were FORD Service Centers - Frontier Ford Stevens Creek and Sunnyvale Ford El Camino who supplied the transmission. However, Renson Automotive was persistent and successful with the intermittent non-shifting transmission problem! Now after Rensons work the transmission correctly shifts like it should have long ago! Thanks RENSON AUTOMOTIVE!

Weve been customers of Rensons for 15 years. We found them after several issues with other repair shops stripping the oil plug, bolts and just not fixing the issue or finding issues that would cost us 10xs more to fix. In 15 years we have never had to take our car back to fix something they fixed the first time. Any time I thought there was a problem they explained in great detail why the car did what it was doing where other mechanics would find a problem. They might be a bit more expensive than other garages, but I pay it knowing the work is solid and the employees are treated well. We will never go to another mechanic, not even for oil changes.

I was new to the area and needed a mechanic near my home. An internet search gave Renson. My TBird had sprong a leak and all of the radiator fluid had dumped on the ground in 5 minutes or less. Renson calls me and tells me they know what the problem is but it was part of a factory recall. Take it to ford and they will fix it for free. Or he could fix it for about $350. I paid the $50 diagnostic fee and had Ford fix it by I was Renson customer ever since. Every few years you hear about mechanics charging for unnecessary repairs but you never hear about them sending business away to help the customer. That one incident made me a customer for life.
