STAY AWAY THEIR SO CALLED MECHANIC IS MORE INTERESTED IN LOOKING AT PORN THAN FIXING YOUR CAR!!!! Horrible establishment. I got there this morning at 7:45 for something as simple as a fluid change and tire rotation. When I first pulled up the "mechanic" (used loosely) was bent over a tool box with a slice of pizza in one hand while he thumbed through a pornographic magazine so long I had to blow my horn to get his attention. Once I finally got his attention and told him what I wanted he sent me inside because apparently he did not know the price for any of the services offered. Once inside I was charged $244.96 for a fluid change and tire rotation and told to give them about 35 Mins. At 10 mins to 9:00am (1.15 hours later)after watching their "mechanic" bang repeatedly on something underneath my car. I finally asked how much longer it would be as I had to be at work by 9:45am. The manager ( I assume) told me it would be yet another 20 minutes. I explained that I had to get to work and asked why it was taking so much longer than they told me originally. The manager then tells me that the plug to the radiator wont go back in so hes trying to fit it back in place. About 10 minutes later he tells me that my radiator is cracked (completely broken) and now all of a sudden my vehicle was no longer operable. He tells me it will be another 2 hours and I will have to pay another $100 to have it fixed...... My car was not leaking any fluids when I pulled in this morning but after their NOT so handy man banged on the plug trying to get it back in place the radiator NOW wouldnt hold an once of fluid and they were trying to charge me for it. I then threatened to call the police because I KNEW they were responsible for breaking the radiator and then trying to up-charge me for it. Once I said I was calling the police the (Manager) told the "mechanic" to go ahead and fix my radiator for free but that it would take yet another 2 hours. At the end of the whole ordeal I ended up being an hour late for work because I now had to take a bus to Bart down to Oakland from Concord. They didnt even offer to drop me at the Bart station. In fact they didnt even apologize for the inconvenience or for cracking my radiator. To make matters worse they will be closed when I get off work and they are not open tomorrow so I now have to pay my boss to spend both his lunch break and mine rushing back out to Concord to pick my vehicle back up. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. Im honestly not sure if I will return to ANY Meinekes. They have completely ruined my experience with them I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING THERE UNLESS YOU DONT MIND BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND OVER CHARGED. IF GIVING NO STARS WAS AN OPTION THEN THAT IS WHAT THEY WOULD GET BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY DESERVE. They ought to be ashamed of themselves

Liars and ripoff. Took my Land Rover in for a break job and left with regret that I ever did that. I paid for all four pads and rotors to be changed and less than 4 months later both were worn-out with the rotors warped beyond drivable. Took the car back in and paid for the labor to change the parts and fix the problem. Another 4 months and again the same issue with the bad rotors and of course the pads. At this time Im told that it is caused because I did not use genuine parts that come more expensive. I paid again for the entire break job to get the original genuine Rover parts. Another 4 months and again the same issue. When I looked at the parts they were replacing nothing was made by Rover. All same worthless stuff only with a higher price. When I asked them to service my transmission I was charged quite a substantial amount to drain and change the fluid. During one of my visits back for the breaks I asked the technician to check the transmission fluid to which he told me they do not have the special tools to do that. But were able to change the fluid yet not check the fluid level? Now Im told that I need a new transmission and they can replace it. The cost was for a used one over $6000 and a new one $12000. I took the car to the Rover dealership and paid for an inspection, to which I was told that for sure the transmission is in great shape and does not have any issues. All this in writing. Every time I took the car in it was an all day event and always resulted in charges for different issues not related with reason I took the vehicle in initially. I dont even trust this place to change my oil...

A few years ago these guys didnt close the oil screw after doing an oilchange and it blew out in the middle of the freeway engulfing my car in smoke. I pulled off to the side and called Meineke. They sent some guys in tanktops to repair my car in a parking lot, told me to come back to shop for inspection. At the shop switched the story around, wouldnt accept reponsiblity, mexican manager-type said I could have done something in the 15 minutes that passed after I left the shop. I attempted to call in Meineke support but when I entered my ticket# it said there was no such case, so I think they deleted it from the system as well.. In short - they made a mistake, wasted my time, damaged my vehicle, wouldnt refund and dodged responsiblity and looked like crooks the whole time doing it. I have video recording of most of this stuff, theres no way to deny it. Suggest everyone stays away from this specific shop.

I took my Toyota tundra for an oil change, and the guy told me it would take about twenty minutes to complete the job, but after one hour of waiting and becoming impatient I complaint to one of the workers why mi car was not done. Well, his response was they had o send a guy to the auto parts to buy a oil filter and an air filter because they did not the right one. It took almost 1:45 minutes to finish. I ask for a discount because of the wait and the f*** guy would not give me any discount, so I refuse to pay for my air filter $25 which and they pull the new one out and god very upset like it was my fault. So stay out of this place it sucks go spend your money where they have the right for an oil change.

This branch is reportedly under new management. I made an appointment last week, arrived 5 minutes early (30 minutes after opening) and the place was not open. When the person opening arrived, there were no keys to unlock the inner doors so he sent me home saying he would call when the keys were found that day. No call. I returned the next morning to a closed shop during their posted business hours. Today was the third time I tried to get my oil changed and arrived after 8:30, ensuring the damn place would be open...surprise. It wasnt. Try a different branch if your a Meineke fan, Ill just go back to never attempting to use their service.
