Nothing special. The Service Adviser was very nice. The part that went bad would have cost me $32 from the parts store. They charged me $73 plus $245 labor. I guess that is part of getting your car repaired. I read one review talking about how great it was not to get a long list of "suggested repairs". That seriously was not the case for us. My $32 part came with a list totaling almost $3,000 of "You really should get this done while it is here." And by the way, the car runs good. My wife was really confused as to what needed to be done and didnt. Although the service adviser was nice, he convinced her that most the items needed to be done. They provided a very detailed list for the estimate, including parts and labor. I did not see anything worth doing (knowing the condition of the car pretty well), so we opted out of all the extras. When I went with her to pick up the car, the story changed to "nothing really pressing, but stuff you might look at in the future". This did not give me a warm, fuzzy about the place. I probably will not go back there. I hate to say it, but it seemed as if they definitely tried to prey on my wife. But I did not listen to the original phone call. Not sure who to give the benefit of the doubt to. My old shop I used to go to would give me the "oh by the way list" when I picked up the car and would only call me if there was a "Holly Crap" item. I much prefer it that way. Three stars came up as Its OK, which it was. If you are a long term customer they know you will keep coming back, the treatment may be different. I know with some shops, they are worried that you are a one-and-done and they want to try to make as much money off you ass they can, even if it is not justified. UPDATE: Well, now they are spamming me. To show their appreciation for my business, they decided to spam me. Spammers are the muck of the earth. I will never go back their again.

My husband drives an 05 Subaru WRX that started to make a weird sound. We took the car to two different places and they both said right away that the engine was bad. My mother in law recommended taking the car to Issaquah Autoworks for a diagnoses. We agreed and I am very glad we did. They seemed to be true experts in Auto Mechanics. They called to let us know they found something wrong with the spark plugs. My husband immediately remembered that he had changed them himself and the noise started right after. The salesperson at the auto part store must have given him the wrong size. He went to purchase the correct ones and after installation the noise was gone! Thank You Issaquah Autoworks!!

One visit and Im a customer for life. I desperately needed my vehicle (long, late work commute that busses dont serve) and Jon was able to get it repaired for a fair price the very day I brought it in. He didnt attempt to upsell me or "find" other issues like other folks have done in the past. Each interaction with him was polite and professional, a refreshing change of pace from previous mechanics Ive dealt with. Im immensely grateful for the service I received here and I cant recommend them highly enough.

I was driving to Spokane from SeaTac recently and my car began to over heat. I researched import mechanics in the area and made a few calls. Ive had this 2002 VW GTI since it was new. Its been in 48 states and Ive dealt with many mechanics. What a blessing that I broke down close to Issaquah! After speaking with John on the phone I knew my search was over. Weve been going to Autoworks for 8 or 10 years because they are reliable, honest and easy to work with. Mechanics have knowledge the rest of us dont have and, because money is involved, people are always worried theyre being cheated. Not only have we never felt we were being cheated or deceived, but have always had honest evaluations of what work was needed immediately, what could wait, and what could be skipped altogether. Im almost 60 and this may be the best shop Ive ever used.

As always, the crew at Autoworks of Issaquah took extra care in assessing and fixing our cars issues. Todd (the owner) took time himself to drive our car to see if he could reproduce an intermittent problem that was frustratingly absent when we brought the car in. We have been taking our cars here for the last couple years, and we are always impressed with the high level of service. I highly recommend you bring your car here for servicing and repairs.

For 12+ years, Autoworks of Issaquah is the go-to auto shop for my familys small fleet of new and not-so-new cars. This includes my old jeep. Ive always appreciated that they first conduct detailed diagnostics and do test drives as appropriate. Then they call me & we discuss the issues and my options - good or sad. Autoworks prices are reasonable for their quality work. They dont add extra to fix things.

Wonderful service in a timely manner. Thought I was going to need to have my brakes replaced, when I went in for inspection. Their staff didnt take advantage of a female who doesnt know much about vehicles, when they couldve easily done so. Autoworks of Issaquah staff was very up front and honest that my brakes were in good condition. They also offer a discount to AAA members.

Autoworks of Issaquah is where I go for all my car problems, well except if I need a body shop, then I go to United Autobody right next door. The guys at Autoworks are very honest and professional so I know I am not going to pay for something my car did not need. I highly recommend them.

Very happy to have found this place. They charged less than 1/3 of what the dealer was asking for my 90,000 mile check up and didnt come up with a list of things I needed fixed. They seem very honest and efficient. It was nice that they have a shuttle service, too.

I tried them with the Groupon coupon. My experience was satisfactory. I think they didnt do any thing unusal to impress me but still they are good value for money. I wish they show more value compare to usual oil change shops.
